This was a great hotel, we would definitely stay here again! Beautiful lobby, Starbucks downstairs, cool vibe as a former school. The area around the hotel is a mix- a bit gritty in spots but very fun and close to shopping and attractions. The bathrooms could use some upgrading- I am not a fan of shower curtains in a small bathroom- but that's being picky. The rooms were super clean, as was the rest of the hotel. Staff was fantastic.

Beautiful hotel in the theater district, walking distance to the Common and South station. The lobby was comfortable a welcoming with tables and sofas for socializing, as well as a bar and snack shop. Breakfast was delicious and convenient as checkout time was at noon.

My only disappointment was I was charged $79 for valet parking and the vehicle wasn’t valet parked. It stayed where we put it. Also charged for an oversized vehicle because we had a truck, but we were parked in a regular size spot. Seemed very excessive.

The Safe in the room did not work, the shower had no water pressure, but the location is extremely convenient. The Hotel does not actually have a pool, it is connected to a YMCA and shares their pool. The staff, especially the bartender was truly lovely, the building itself just clearly wears age.

Very clean, great music in the bar, close to Boston Commons, very walkable. Parking is VERY OVERPRICED@ $59/day for uncovered parking. I paid $10/day in Atlantic City for covered parking.

The hotel was nice. You got to use the attacked YMCA for the pool and gym which was nice. The only negative was the bed was a little small (we had a room with two double beds).

The room we were assigned — 522 — was absolutely disgusting. I found a half-eaten apple by the bed, hairs on my sheets, the wallpaper was peeling, the lampshades were stained and I could barely see out of the dirty window with crayon drawings on it.

Check in was rough as they didn’t have my reservation. Hotels.com was able to contact the hotel and ultimately everything worked out and our stay was great. The staff is wonderful and the room was spacious, comfortable and clean.

The hotel was a great location to wang theatre. The beds were comfy. The door to enter the room was fidgety and would only open sometimes when turning handle all the way up. The walk from the bed to the bathroom was very creaky something seemed up with the floor. And the traffic outside (honking music revving engines) was extremely loud and woke us up until 4 am. Not sure if the concession downstairs have earplugs but definitely would recommend them! Other than that it was great, live music, dinner all good.

We absolutely loved our room and its location. Boston is indeed a walkable city, and we could easily reach any destination on foot or take the Blue Line to Fenway. My only concern was the noise around the property. When we first arrived and saw Tufts Medical Center across the street, we were a bit worried. However, that turned out to be less of an issue compared to the constant car revving and honking that woke us up in the middle of the night on two of our three nights. If noise isn’t a major concern for you, this is an excellent place to stay!

I was downgraded upon check in, told they could not do anything for me because I booked through a third party (Expedia) and then lied to about a room that was available then suddenly unavailable. The staff was so rude and then talked about me amongst themselves when I left the counter when I was still in earshot. Terrible customer/guest service.

Front desk/reception was extremely helpful, kind, and professional, all while handling a busy flow of guests and adhering to a constantly ringing phone line…in particular, Touriya went above and beyond to help when I had change of plans/circumstance. Room I booked wasn’t “ready” and I showed up two hours after check in. Offered me two other options then told me those also weren’t “ready” finally got a room even though I booked 2 weeks ahead to not deal with this. There’s no parking, only hotel I’ve ever seen this issue with? And they walked into my room no knock at 8:30 am. Check out is 11. Why were they in my room so early but no rooms were clean or available when I book 2 weeks ahead and pre pay?

The hotel was okay. It is situated right opposite the Tufts Medical Center and is a few yards away from the train station. The hotel property was clean and organized. The built in cafe within the hotel is pretty good. However, the outside ambience is a bit sketchy. Lots of homeless people milling about and it generally does not feel safe later in the night.

Great location with the T station super close to the hotel. Hotel was welcoming and took care of all our needs and requests. Great customer service. Clean, spacious room. Please note you are next to the ymca childcare center but didn’t bother us but you will hear the daycare center outside.

I only stayed for one night, but I loved the property and the towels were plush. Very convenient to transportation, walkable, safe, well lit, close to Tufts which i loved. Also the area was convenient for dining, close to downtown and Chinatown. I will definitely stay again for personal travel, as this was a business trip.

The beds were clean and sumptuous, the location quiet but easy to walk around the theater district and Chinatown, very nice bar located near the check in desk and friendly attentive front desk personnel.

Excellent location. Walking distance to anywhere interesting in Boston. T-station next to the hotel. Several and diverse dining options nearby. Very good service. Comfortable and clean beds. Old but adequate and clean bathroom. No window view but we didn't care as we wanted to visit Boston and used the hotel for sleeping only. Good value for money.

This hotel is nice, clean and at a convenient location. The hotel has a bar, restaurant and Starbucks in the lobby. The staff at the Wisteria restaurant downstairs were nice, however, the service is not great. The staff needs better training as there is long wait times for everything you need because they don't check on you. I had to look for the waiter who was MIA for a while and she was at the bottom of the steps on her phone. I went two days for brunch and service was the same both days with different staff. Besides that the food and drinks were good. The hotel is walking distance from Boston Common park, AMC theater, restaurants (including the famous Cheers bar). Parking at the hotel is not free. I saw a sign that said $65 a day for parking.

Beautiful hotel in the theater district, walking distance to the Common and South station. The lobby was comfortable a welcoming with tables and sofas for socializing, as well as a bar and snack shop. Breakfast was delicious and convenient as checkout time was at noon.

I found some blood stains on the comforter. The staff did try to change it right away but it made me a little uncomfortable. The room service showed up in take-out boxes with small portions for the price.

I liked the idea there was a restaurant and bar and live music which meant we didn't have to leave the hotel at all. I love their cookies and bar pub snacks. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. A little disappointed that the Starbucks in the hotel closed at 2:00pm on Sunday.

The first room we were assigned smelled awful like cigarettes. We were happily assigned a new room. The valet parking was Downey but all the staff was great and it was very convenient. Love the option of the bar restaurant. Took the thought out of a long day. Would really suggest some additional ( non seafood options). And maybe some cheaper bar appetizer options. Don’t always want a full expensive meal.

DO NOT BOTHER with paying for breakfast at this hotel. I booked a room and paid extra to have breakfast included. When we arrived and went to our first breakfast, we found out that this is NOT a normal hotel style breakfast. It's not a buffet, but rather a la carte. Not only that, but your "daily credit" is only 18 dollars. Almost everything on the menu is over 18 dollars. In addition you have to tip the staff. We were never notified of this when we made our booking, and not when we checked in either. This left a sour taste in my mouth. Had I known, I would never have paid extra to have breakfast included. I complained to the front desk staff about this, but they shrugged and told me there was nothing they could do, and referred me to hotels.com. Apart from that, the rooms are spacious, the beds are nice, the wifi is fast, and the hotel is conveniently located. The only other thing I didnt like was the tub/shower. The showerhead is mounted very low on the wall and can't be moved, which meant I had to bend down when showering. Also, the price was quite frankly ridiculous. We paid almost 28000 NOK (approx $2600) for five nights.

It was a nice place, better than the one my son was at around the corner. Expensive for 3 nights but then again I'm not used to staying in a big city and Boston is pricey so it's in line with the prices there. No free breakfast or pool that I'm used to, again it was in downtown they don't have space for that. I wish the front desk had mentioned the maps on the other side, I didn't see them until my second day. Helped since the first day I got a bit lost walking to things. I did not eat at the restaurant but there was that and a Starbucks inside. It felt safe, across the street from the medical center and can get loud with sirens. Fortunately I'm a nurse and I was mostly exhausted so slept well without hearing them all night. View sucked as it was a corner of a wall and the ER entrance. My room with a king bed was nice though, did have a hair in the tub, but I've seen worse at places. Bed was comfy. The lobby was very very nice, plenty of nice chairs, places to work if there on business, and a bar right there. I also like that you needed your key card on the elevator to get to your room.
