While our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the property remained quiet, the overall facility is in a severe state of disrepair. The hallway carpets have paint stains, the railings are chipped, furniture is gouged, woodwork has chunks missing, and sections of the hallway walls are covered in paper held together by painter’s tape. The lobby and pool area are in better shape, but the common areas desperately need maintenance. Additionally, despite advertising a smoke-free policy, someone on the floor below was smoking marijuana. As someone with a severe allergy, this was a significant issue. The checkout staff was friendly and empathetic when I reported it, but it was too late to resolve the situation during my stay.

The property of hotel is set back and private. The building looks like it has been around a while but the lobby area looks nice. The carpeting needed a refresh but the room was nice. The bed mattress I could tell had been around a while, and it’s the first room door that I have seen that still uses the chain lock. Plus- my wife loved it had a nice tub and plenty of predictable hot water. It was an ok place to spend the night. We did not have time to check out the pool or dining room/bar

We needed to be in Boxborough for an event, and this hotel was best located for that. The room and amenities were adequate given the price. The property with our room felt older, and probably hasn't been updated in a while.
