Fairfield Inn by Marriott Boston Sudbury

We really liked the room and the deck was beautiful.

First night the elevator was not working. First day my room was not cleaned. Other than that, it was comfortable and service was good.

This is our second time staying there the staff is so friendly. The room is very comfortable. The breakfast is delicious. The little store is a great convenience to us and it’s a great location. Will stay here again.

The king bed is as, or more, comfortable, that my one at home. Wonderful night's sleep!! Room is incredibly spacious & staff is very friendly. I didn't need fridge or microwave, but a nice touch.

We have stayed here multiple times. The rooms are always clean and comfortable parking is easy and plentiful we like staying here the breakfast has a good variety of foods. The staff is always wonderful and super helpful. They are very, very nice here and accommodating

Liked being able to park car near side entrance for easy access. Room was clean but a bit cramped - furniture did not fit well with shape of room.

Seemed either understaffed or mismanaged. Had to wait 20 minutes to find someone at the front desk to check in. Manager finally came to the desk, carrying some other room's trash, fumbled checking me in a few times (kept manually cancelling the transaction for some reason on his end) and handed me complimentary waters, but I threw them out since he arrived on the scene with trash in hand without gloves and sans sanitizer. Room smelled a blend of funny/funky/old so the windows needed to be opened the duration of the stay. They allow dogs but beware, the perimeter of the property is littered with poison ivy so careful of your ankles when walking your pup. Rossini's pizza down the road was the highlight of Sudbury.

Fabulous location but zero OUTDOOR area(s) to enjoy nice weather & obtain Vitamin D 👍

The side walk is very hot no air conditioner They not enjoy dogs charge $100 for my dog no more

Reception Desk and breakfast room staff were very good. Friendly and accommodating. Location of the hotel was fine for us as we were already familiar with the area. Drive time to the Cambridge Alewife MBTA station was 45 - 60-minute drive time. This was at 8:15am. So if your vacation is to see Boston, which ours was, take this into account. Hotel was clean, no issues there. We booked two rooms, 203 and 215. Both rooms need a major refresh. Both rooms had the same smell which was bad. We assumed it was the air conditioner. We even opened the window to air it out, but it did not help. Both rooms were king size beds, but the room size was very small. The furniture was way too big for the room size. We have stayed in other Fairfield hotels, and this did not meet what we had experienced in the past. We would not recommend this hotel unless they indicate on their site that they have undergone a major room refresh.

The best was so nasty. Both our queen beds had yellow stains. The shower head spread in every direction but straight Walls are so thin the room above us stomped there feet, turned their tv on full volume at 2 am-3-am Breakfast was okay. But always behind and cold

The mattress cover had a 4 ft by 4 ft pee stain hidden under the fitted sheet

Some staff was unwelcoming. Overall noticed cobwebs throughout hotel including room. Wouldnt stay again for the price for the hotel cleanliness and amenities

The beds are much too high and should come with a stool to access the bed since there is no purchase within reach. This is NOT a bed for older seniors. Outdated lamps, there is no direct phone cord access in lamp bases you must have your adaptative pronged charger for computer access or to charge your phone. Room is very clean .The cooling/heating unit worked well also.

The stay was very nice and clean, however the room was configured odd. Almost like the bed and dressers were on the incorrect wall. The top dresser drawer would not stay shut. Staff was very friendly

Lovely hotel. Our suite was spacious, beds were comfortable, water pressure was hard (!!!), and hiking options abound.

Liked everything about the facility except the lack of cable TV channel selections and unsecured WiFi.

was not pleased with the noise level the first night we stayed. we were located near the elevator and heard the front door open and closing several times. possibly due to bthe lack of proper sound proofing and insulation. also the room above was noisy during the night. we moved to a different room for the 2nd night which was much better as it also was away from the street noise. we also did not like the coffee served either in the room or in the breakfast area. would rather pay for it and have a better cup than watered down coffee. the courtyard marriotts offer Starbucks much better. Or individual Keurig machines in the rooms would make a better cup of coffee too

We did not have a car, so our experience might be different from those who do. It is not safe to walk on the roads without a car which makes going to dinner difficult. The desk was very friendly. We did have trouble controlling the heat (actually AC) in our room. Room is spacious and comfortable.

The smell. I think the carpets need to be replaced. The carpet on our room seemed hazardous for a person with mobility issues; it was bumpy.

Room was nice and bathroom was spacious. Room might have been a smoking room but i was not made aware of that prior to booking. Additionally, TV had an issue but it wasn't worth reporting at 11pm at night. Breakfast was good and staff was excellent. Would recommend.

I think my only concern was there was barely ever anyone at the front desk. We tried to talk to someone to check out and no one was around. I think it's important to see a friendly face whether going in or out. Or even to ask a question. The room was nice and clean. The price was more than all of the surrounding hotels... don't understand why. Overall it was fine.

I was extremely shocked at my experience with the Fairfield Inn. I had pre-paid for two nights at the hotel through Expedia and arrived around 10 PM although check-in was 3 PM . When I got there, I was informed that they had sent me an email around 5 PM letting me know that my room was not available ( which I did not see until I arrived at the hotel ) and that they told me today had booked a room for me in Framingham which is at least 20 minutes away. When I got to the hotel, I had been driving for 8 1/2 hours and I really did not appreciate finding out at the last minute that I did not have a room. I was exhausted and ready to get into bed that minute. That night , I ended up staying with my family In the meantime, I was assured that they did have a room for me the following night, and that it would be complementary. When I arrived the following night, there was no record of my having a room. I had to speak to the person at the desk at great length who then had to go speak with her manager. It took a lot of time and effort . When I finally got to the room , there was a strong odor that smelled like BO. I then had to call to request another room. Having had ridiculous experiences two nights in a row, would be very hesitant to ever stay at this hotel again. I am still completely shocked at the lack of correct records and a cavalier attitude for service.

Each and every employee went above and beyond. They asked my name, introduced themselves and greeted me each morning by name. Made me feel very much at home. I’ve stayed here many times and it is always a wonderful experience. Kudos to Deborah who sets up a wonderful breakfast buffet every day and new employee Sandra who is a great asset to this team.

The staff were extremely friendly from the moment we arrived. The front desk staff treated us like family. The breakfast staff was very welcoming as if we were being invited to eat at their own home. Thank you so much for the excellent stay.

The staff is great!! They make every visit easy which is why in Sudbury I always stay here

Front desk staff was amazing. Particularly the female employee who was on staff during the mid afternoon/evening on September 5th. An excellent ambassador for the brand and area.

My spouse and I stayed two nights to beat the heat while waiting for A/C to be installed in our home, choosing the Fairfield Inn because it is closest to where we live. What a happy surprise! Our room was spotlessly clean and looked as if it had been recently upgraded. The king bed was very comfortable. Room design was good in terms of how the space was used, so that the two of us did not feel cramped. But the people were the best. Every staff member we met (front desk, breakfast room, housekeeping) was friendly, welcoming, and ready to help. This gave a personal feel to the hotel. We have frequent out-of-town visitors, who usually stay at hotels on Route 9 for convenience. This location may be a little off the beaten track, but the extra 15 minutes drive is every bit worth the peace and quiet. Also, low traffic noise translates into better sleep quality. So we're going to be recommending this hotel a lot!

This hotel was in a quaint, nice little town and there were plenty of places to go to eat and shop. The staff was very nice, especially Sandra at the front desk. Breakfast was great and loved the nuts/granola, grain bar for making healthy breakfast bowls

Stayed here for a friends wedding who was getting married up the street. Excellent choice in a convenient location!

A great place to stay for sightseeing Concord-Lexington-Sudbury area. We enjoyed our time at this hotel. The rooms have been refurnished, bathroom is roomy, etc.

Although this hotel has some age on it, it has been updated and it was very clean. The bedding was very comfortable and the bathroom was modern. The breakfast was first rate, with high end products, many choices and well prepared bacon and eggs. The front desk staff was extra special and each person greeted us and asked about our stay. Finally, the location can’t be beat! There were many very good restaurants, a Whole Foods and lots of other shopping <1 mile away! AND, only 35 min to Logan airport. We will definitely stay here again.

easy to spot on Route 20, nice restaurant and deli/pizza a short walk away, but that road sure is dark and lonely at night

Quiet, clean and comfortable! The variety of breakfast foods was good (waffles, eggs, bacon, breads/bagels, cereal, oatmeal and more). I chose a room at the back of the building and had no issues with noise, either from outside or from the other rooms. My room was clean, aside from a couple minor stains on the carpet, and the bathroom was well-stocked and spacious. All staff were friendly and welcoming!

Breakfast sausage wasn't tasty, they tasted like they were cooked to long

Staff was excellent, room was well prepared, but the breakfast was so-so. The scrambled eggs were room temp and the “egg white and feta” concoction was unpleasant.
