BWI Airport Marriott

Very convenient with a great shuttle from/to the airport.

Shuttle to airport is very convenient. Internet was not working and the tech support could not help.

Waited for the shuttle to show at the airport for over 30 min, never showed. Tried calling the front desk several times prior to in regards to exact scheduling, pick up location etc…no answer. Automated system just repeats itself saying the shuttle will come every 15min. Ended up having to pay for an uber to the hotel. Average accommodations/cleanliness. Could use an upgrade especially in the bathrooms. Not bad for proximity to the airport but the whole shuttle thing cast a dark cloud over this place for me.

The stay was a short stay, however the website does not tell you they charge for parking even if you are a guest at the hotel. It also does not tell you they charge $12.95 for WIFI, which I find to be outrageous.

Last leg of our trip. Great shuttle service & pool. Very dated hotel with lots of bumps, scrapes & scratches on doors and walls. Understandably the planes were heard as the hotel is by an airport. Bring earplugs. Staff was really nice, friendly & helpful.

Waited 25 mins for shuttle pickup.

I called 3 times and waited 45 minutes for a shuttle that never arrived. I was thankfully offered a ride from a shuttle from a different hotel who saw me waiting. When I finally did make it to the Mariott the shuttle was sitting there out front… I was also given a twin room instead of the King I had booked. Unpleasant experience after a long journey to say the least. Also the wifi is not free to non-members.

Lack of parking, with very little outside lighting.Only one way to enter the building. If you had ro park out back, you had a long unlit walk to the front.

I literally took a shot in the dark on Expedia because it was slightly less expensive than my usual BWI hotel. After 2 trains, I was exhausted. The shuttle was blissfully quick and air conditioned, the driver, friendly and efficient. The hotel is a bit older, but designed and built to high standards. It needs a refresh, but I liked my room. It successfully felt cozy and yet spacious at the same time. The bed was super comfy. And, while the hallway was swampy, my AC was fantastic and not too loud. My room was quiet with plenty of blackout blinds and a nice view of the mountains. But, if you looked, you could see a good deal of wear on some of the finishes and the tech needs updating - not a single USB port. Additionally, the door deadbolt & handles were flaky. Need new towels. The elevators are old and beat up. They creak in very unpleasant ways.One broke down while I was on it and I had to quickly manhandle the door open to avoid being trapped. I warned some other folks and we told staff. It kept making bizarre sounds while we waited for another one. Breakfast - best part was the excellent service. Worth the $10 add on to one's room booking. $23 standard isn't worth it - under cooked potatoes and chafing dish quality. So, a mixed bag on the facility but I still enjoyed it. I'd stay here again, but only if it cost less. The price I paid doesn't match the condition of the facility - but the staff were truly world class.

Very nice, clean and attractive. However, the pool water was very cold, the pool area was cold and the water was cloudy. Not what I was expecting.

Just got back from a very long 3 week international trip. This is my final leg, and the room was incredibly clean, spacious, quiet, and the bed was heavenly. Check in was easy. Thank you Marriott, will definitely seek out this hotel chain again!

Found a spider in the bed . No amenities. Soap , toothbrush toothpaste. ? Two bath towels for four people. Loud A/C unit .

The hotel staff was very friendly. The hotel was clean.

The stay was wonderful staff was helpful and nice. Bed was comfy but the sheets and pillowcases were dirty.

Stay was good. Room was clean and adequate. Furniture was a bit scratched up- front of the desk and tv stand. Bathroom was dated. Had soap and shampoo in bathroom. But did not receive lotion or shower cap or any toileteries in the bathroom. TV was huge.

Bugs, bugs, bugs! Flying bugs on the walls, bugs on the bed, crawling bugs on the bathroom floor. Could not rest comfortably.

Phone did not work. Came back September 24, same room and was not fixed. Needed 2 washcloths and was only 1. Mildew in shower.

You have a 60 inch tv with less then a hundred channels. Its useless...nobody in the work including the poorest nations have only 60 channels. You removed the abililty pay to see new movies and you disable the ability to use a firestick. It was bad I watch 15 rerun Shark tank episodes. Just put picture the wall and save some more money on hotel room digital entertainment

Ok experience. One night travel for business. But outdated room…. Air conditioner not best in cooling but able to sleep ok. Clean room. Bathroom clean but also but outdated. Service was good. Did not eat at location so cannot comment.

Very old property… needs an urgent refit

Room was nice. Location was great for early airport departure- like 5 min from airport) there’s not much around other than that though. Room was comfortable but one thing to know is it didn’t have any technology hookups. Bring a wall charger if you need to charge stuff. Furniture is pretty outdated as well so working area isn’t the best.

Easy shuttle to BWI. Beds were soft. Only critique is how loud the doors closed. The hallways stayed loud all night with doors and guests.

Property has been refreshed and common areas very well done The rooms / dated / but the bed was very comfortable The bathrooms should all be ripped out and update to 2024 No rainshower head / lousy water pressure / step in tub and awful shower curtains / it is not 1985

The rooms feel older. Windows seem older as well, you can hear every plane take off during the night. Staff was very friendly.

I had flown the red eye from PDX and arrived at 10 am. I was early to check in I asked Lakeesha the person at the desk and she gave me a room. Because of this kind gesture I will always stay at Marriott’s

I reached and called the hotel before midnight for the shuttle that I had booked, the shuttle took a while to come. I told them that I wanted to check in fast since I had missed my connection because of my flight being delayed and had a full day of meetings and wanted to sleep before my early morning flight. The front desk clerk was rude when she did not find my Expedia receipt. I had a cold and I was pretty tired and I was like I need to check in fast so I can get some sleep. I had paid for the full day and would barely get a few hours. The breakfast is very basic but the guy there was awesome, thank you! I think the name of the front desk clerk was Leona and she was like lots of folks pay for the full day and stay a few hours, get some refresher course on customer service, it is not hard to show empathy in the middle of the night.

Issues involving payment of three rooms on one credit card was to be resolved at check in but were not. Called the hotel to get the charging issue resolved but the hotel has failed to act on the matter even though the staff and manager said it was resolved. Poor customer service and it appears staff are not equipped to handle issues such as mine.

Very high quality stay as you expect from Marriott. Excellent customer service from staff and the room was very clean and comfortable. We had to book an extra night due to flight cancelation and we requested two new towels and a roll of toilet paper. They were at the room with it just moments after requested. Thank you!

Great airport hotel. Super friendly staff, easy check-in, clean room with cozy, soft sheets and towels and easy airport shuttle. Very impressed.

Our first room had a flooded bathroom and we had to switch rooms. When checking in, it was obvious they were more interested in helping the airline staff than other customers. I was not the only guest having issues while they thumbed through a list of possible empty rooms. It appeared the employees were not properly trained. After checkout, I saw a charge on my card for the entire stay and I had actually prepaid through Expedia. I called and was refunded by accounting team very quickly. Next time, I will stay elsewhere. Avoid this location. I fly out of BWI and stay in other hotels at least once a month and this is the worst run Marriott I have seen in a long time.

Clean, comfortable room. Service is slow on a few fronts: we waited over an hour for the airport shuttle before the Comfort Inn driver offered us a ride and waited more than an hour before half of our room service was delivered and then we we told that it would be at least another hour before the (soup) could e delivered.

Property is very convenient to BWI. The hotel is really nice as are most Marriott hotels. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Only drawback is dining. They closed their Champions restaurant but do have a nice lobby restaurant. The choices were limited but very good as was the service.

You know, it’s an airport property so the hotel itself is really, really good but it, like the rest of the Baltimore airport properties kind of suck. The hotels great but location, not so hot.

The location/proximity to the airport and ability to leave our car there was a great feature. We will be back.

The rooms are fair in condition. Nothing special in the room to make it stand out. Staff is very nice and friendly. Breakfast was good

Hotel itself was excellent. Chesapeake restaurant was overpriced and not up to par. Breakfast ordered off menu was poor and breakfast buffet average but not worth the $$.

The breakfast was not at all worth $22.

Very nice hotel. Everything was clean and the staff was very friendly. The food at the bar/restaurant was actually very good & the bartender Diane was so sweet. She asks all the customers there names and actually remembers them. Always nice to make people feel special. Would definitely stay here again!

We were extremely thankful that the restaurant remained open til 11:30. The server was polite and responsive and our food was fresh and delicious.

Flying out of Baltimore the next day so decided to stay at the hotel. Excellent hotel, free shuttle to airport which runs approx every 20 mins. Took 10 mins to airport, then stops at each airline to drop off. Great bar & lounge at hotel. Restraunt had a decent selection of food.in the evening, you sure got a lot of it. We opted for to pay for breakfast with hotel room, which was a buffet. Omelet station, Waffle station along with scrambled eggs, sausages, potatoes, hot oatmeal, fruit selection, cereals, pastries, juices etc! Will definitely stay again.
