Staff were very nice, location convenient to highway and to get to many DC area locations. Quite a few expensive add-ons; high daily fee for parking and an in an out parking lot system that was cumbersome; breakfast also expensive. Even to get a cup of coffee one had to do so through the restaurant. Otherwise a perfectly nice stay.

The location, overall design and service here was great! Driving through the adjacent construction zone to exit the parking lot was really the only thing we didn't like. And we made use of the EV charger the first night -- but with there being only one for the entire hotel, we couldn't use it the second night. Additional EV chargers would greatly increase convenience for your guests!

Great bed, shower, recently and beautifully redecorated. HUGE gym, and - come Memorial Day - a great outside pool to enjoy. My only beef is the $22/night parking fee. I think that's cheesy for a suburban hotel - yes, it's in a great location outside of DC, but the parking lot is huge - no scarcity of parking. So when you see the nightly rate, add $22 for parking!

Nice comfortable rooms, great pool area, exercise room, restaurant were nice. Parking costs a bit but not as much as other hotels in the area. Overall good value.

Always a nice stay here. All the staff from the front desk to the restaurant are very friendly. Gym is good, pool is nice. I think there could be the need for a little better quality control on the towels and deep cleaning. Nothing gross, just more wear and tear on some towels that should probably be taken out of circulation and a little more cross checking on dusting, etc.

The staff was lovely. It was nice and clean. The shuttle from Marriott to the NIH was super convenient to me. But I disliked the fact that they billed me a regular water bottle for $5.

I was provided a small room where the two beds barely fit. The pool was closed in the morning and the front desk person was rude when I asked when would it be opened again. The bathroom door was broken and would not close all the way. The sink in the bathroom was clogged. The maintenance people never came to my room to fix the door, nor the sink, after saying they would.

Twice sent to the room with new set if keys, neither of which worked on the door of the room. This required me going down to and from with my luggage and wait in line and the problem was still not resolved. Then was given a different room but this time the room was dark, with ear bud, pills, toothpick, wrapper on the floor. Bed had not been made and looked used with bedding hanging down like a used bed. Towel in bathroom had stains. Table had not been cleaned either. Again took the luggage down and then given another room which was better lit and clean but the furniture holding the fridge and coffee machine was wobbly/and resting on the wall. Carpets in corridors looked unkept. Was told by receptionist that she will speak to the manager in the morning and see what they can do for my poor experience but no one contacted or did anything.

Unfortunately our experience was not what my husband and I expected from Marriot , our room was not cleaned at all, with food stains on several walls, floors, carpet,bed backrest, nightstand, and bathroom door also. It seemed like former guests had some kind of party and cleaning crew did a poor job , seemed they only changed the bedsheets. Front desk sent a cleaning crew to our room at 11pm , Jared was very helpful and apologized. But definitely it was unpleasant experience. Will share pictures with management. We asked for another room, but it was not possible. On a good note, the food at restaurant was good, and staff were friendly.

On 1/15 door knob would not open we had to sit outside our rom over 2 hrs, and I have a rare bone disease. Very uncomfortable, they moved us to another room that was better. They stated they would credit us $45 and credit valet parking fees they did not credit all days.

I would NOT recommend this property. It is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The lobby looks acceptable. The corridors and rooms are tired, dirty and in need of refurbishment. The room decor was modern but all the towels and bedding was marked and there were stains on the ceiling and walls. The noise was horrendous at all times of day. There was noise from the freeway, constant trains and low flying planes. This made it difficult to get to sleep. All members of staff were awful. They were not helpful. They were rude and slow. Check In was bad. Alan should not be checking in guests because he is clearly not capable of doing this. He give us wrong information. Overcharged us on the room deposit. No information on lounge or breakfast times. Just terrible. Carlos on check out was just as bad. Miserable. Not helpful. I even said my stay had been awful but it was ignored. We chose this hotel and upgraded our room for access to the M Club lounge. This was the worst M Club lounge I have experienced. The coffee machine was constantly out of order. And as for the light refreshments, all they had were bags of crisps. That’s it. We did complain about this and was told by Iris from the lounge to check out and find another hotel if we weren’t happy. We then spoke to 2 separate managers. We were told the GM would be in touch (which they never did). In summary I would never recommend or stay in this hotel again. I probably won’t stay at a Marriott hotel again.

First, I called ahead since I was checking in after midnight. I waited on the phone for over 20 minutes and was told I was checked-in and could pick up my room keys after I provided my credit card for incidentals. Second, I arrived and waited for over an hour to check in because the "system froze on my reservation." Phillip at the front desk told me at one point I would have to leave the lobby if I didn't make another reservation to check me in because "there was nothing else he could do." Then suddenly, he has someone he can call and they fixed everything in 5 minutes. What a joke! Third, the shower in the room had no temperature control. You can only choose very hot or very cold. Room is 623.

I got a room with breakfast included. Then, I received a bill of $100 at the breakfast table. They told me that the breakfast was included only for two people and we are a family of 4. Nowhere was it mentioned that the breakfast was only for two. When I ask for clarification at the front desk, they dismiss my complaints quickly and not in a professional way. I've been very disappointed about that after all.

Good value for the stay. Suite space was go,od. Hotel is slightly dated and while clean, requires upgrades to the corridors, elevators and rooms. Nice overall experience. Staff was wonderful. Overall clean and comfortable.

Felt we were being overcharged for parking. The tables in the dining room were sticky. I ordered a hamburger to go waited 45 minutes and I got a cheeseburger overall the hotel was not what we thought it would be and I wouldn’t return to it.

We continue to come back to this property not only for convenience but the service is excellent. Front desk, restaurant, etc. are all superior. The food offerings at the restaurant are also great. Some of the furnishings throughout the hotel are starting to show some extended wear and tear, is about the only negative comment I could have; nothing that would deter me from returning or recommending to others.

Once check in, I realized that my online request for a tub was not applied to my room reservation. An available room with a tub but not bed preference was found. The room was extremely cold, the bathtub that I wanted was stained and dingy, and the good in the restaurant was not good and made me sick

Reasonably priced. Nice room. Very clean and well set up. Dinner meal: Tuscan soup wasn't very bland and the large tater tots were dry and tasteless. The dipping sauce just tasted like mayo and ketchup mixed together.
