I truly enjoyed my stay. The staff were friendly, welcoming, attentive. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, I’ve never seen a pancake machine, the pancakes were made to order, huge, fresh and delicious. The bacon was crispy, the eggs were fluffy and veggie omelette was great. There were many varieties of cereal, oatmeal and pastries. Of course they had 2 fancy machines for coffee, tea and hot chocolate with all the fixings. The pool area was great, nice and warm, my daughter enjoyed herself. Although I didn’t use the gym, it looked decent. Overall my stay was a 10/10. I will stay here every time I visit family in Maryland.

With the exception of the renovations, we really enjoyed all of the amenities such as the pool and the gym. The staff were nice and the continental breakfast was good. Best continental breakfast I ever had!

Chose hotel in Pocomoke during road trip to head next AM to Assateague. Was the worst condition Holiday Inn Express we've stayed in, rooms were certainly not as pictured; very thin walls and noisy. Breakfast was meh, and pool was DISGUSTING. Needs a solid remodeling, looked like pieces had been attempted but still needs work. Bug Zapper in lobby under table near breakfast area was disgusting too. We had chosen this hotel for nearby food options, but KFC/Taco Bell next door was closed, and dominos didn't have our topping (seriously who doesn't have Sausage in stock when you're dominos?!?), whole area was not as advertised.

Room was dirty having someone elses dirty socks that my 17 month old found behind the chair in the room. There was other things under the bed as well. Bathroom amenities wasn't replenished for my family of 5. Staff was quite pleasant though.

Although convenient off the highway, I wouldn’t recommend. Check in was easy even though we arrived late evening. Unfortunately, when we entered our room and went to use the toilet, it hadn’t been cleaned. There was dried poop on the inside of the bowl and the entire rim had dark gray grime. I notified the front desk first thing in the morning. Although they were friendly and understood, they said that because we didn’t book directly, there was nothing they could do. In addition, very uncomfortable mattresses.

The hotel room itself was nice, but I was disappointed to find mold in the shower, which is unacceptable. If I choose to stay here again, I would definitely request to see the room before accepting any keys. On a positive note, I arrived before the official check-in time, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate me with an early check-in. I truly appreciated their effort and hospitality.

This hotel just changed ownership and could use some renovation. The elevator and hallways smell like smoke. The room/shower had some broken fixtures and a strange 1970s style rope-lined lamp. However, the beds were great and the hightlight was the breakfast. Also, the front desk people were incredibly nice. Manage your expectations but it worked for me.

This is a real nice hotel with great amenities. Lots of task lights, lots of plugs to charge stuff with.. room is spacious and comfortable. There are benches for a countertop. There's a fridge, microwave and a coffee pot. There's an office chair with a table. And there's a Cleopatra chair with table. Shower has plenty of pressure. Staff is friendly and helpful.

My husband and I realized at 11:30pm that we forgot to pack toothpaste. We called the front desk and they brought toothpaste to our room. Exceptional service! The breakfast was also very good. It’s not the most aesthetically pleasing hotel in the world, but it was clean, and we can’t complain. We would definitely stay again.

We left medications behind. We called and told they were life threatening if not taken. They replied that since the general manager was on vacation no one could mail them because a fee had to be charged on the credit card we left on file. Even though the clerk “Ashley” who refused to give a last name said they have the medications she couldn’t mail them and charge the credit card because only the general manager is authorized to do so and she is on vacation for seven days and was so sorry! I asked if we could pay her but again she said there is no was without the general manager’s okay.

Pros: Easy check in. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Room & bathroom were very clean. Cons: Initially my husband and I only had one face cloth, two hand towels and a bath mat. Missing both bath towels and a face cloth. This was taken care of immediately by notifying the front desk clerk on duty. All in all, very enjoyable stay. Would recommend.

The staff was friendly and helpful, but the location needs some upkeep. I loved the location, because it was central to everywhere we needed to be. So, I would recommend some upkeep, etc change the carpet (which was worn in several places)

Very nice hotel. No issues - A/C & Heat worked, Hot Shower, comfortable bed. All good. Just wish there was a way to make the blinds more light darkening (close the gaps at the edge that let in morning light). Great hot breakfast, eggs, bacon, pancakes, etc. Also Yogurt, cereal, bread, and wide selection.
