Extended Stay America Suites - Baltimore - Timonium

This is an older facility that would benefit from a few upgrades. The bed was decent and the refrigerator did a great job of keeping food and beverages cold. We brought our own Keurig mini coffeemaker with us, and are glad that we did so. There were no kitchen amenities/utensils to be found—we had to go to the front desk to ask for them—and that was a pain. We would have been happy with paper plates and plastic utensils. A positive note was that we had a plumbing issue that we brought to the attention of the front desk employee on duty. She did have someone take care of the problem while we were out. We had plenty of towels so we didn’t feel the need to request new ones. The “new towels” policy was clearly explained at check in. The purpose of this trip was to attend a dog show and I believe the hotel was almost at capacity. We didn’t hear any noise and all of the public areas were very clean.

The room was fairly clean. Stairways reaked of marijuana, puke outside the entrance, entrance way needed to be vacuumed, pooped all over the grass from the dogs. Unfortunately, they don’t provide coffee in the rooms or hair dryers. Again, the room was clean and the hallway was quiet.

When we asked the feont desk, they told us that there were no extra pillows available. When accessing the lobby, both handicapped automatic door open buttons did not work.
