The room was clean and a good place to lay our heads. My issue was that the elevator was broken, parking lot had cars with flat tires, people lingering all over the place, and worst of all…a man approached my 15 year old son at our doorway and asked if he had weed he would trade for shrooms. I do not recommend this hotel for families.

The bed wasnt terrible. The water was hot. Everything else was questionable. Homeless people on the steps asking for money. People outside smoking weed and being loud. The property grounds were filthy. Trash all over. In the corridors, parking lot, under the stairs. Elevator kept getting stuck with people on it, but didnt have any sign on to not use it. Check in staff were ignoring customers.

Overall I had a good night sleep, but the facility/hotel, showed signs of aging. My request for clean towels was not granted (2nd day).. There are no microwaves nor small refrigerators in the rooms.. the hotel is pet friendly and has good parking. There was a staff member (older male) behind the desk, in the afternoon, he was not friendly, I went to reactivate my room cards, he asked if I needed the two cards given at check in and i replied yes, he gave me the most evil look in the world.. spooked me a little... customer service is not everyone's strong point.

I really like that the water was very hot. But I really didn’t like the area, or the fact that they had a lot of people just standing around outside at 1 and 2 am in morning and it was very cold. As well as the trash outside was over running with more debris in the hallway.

Needed a place for a quick overnight and took a risk on a low cost hotel. Room 324 Pros: No bed bugs Easy access from Interstate Plumbing fixtures and bedding were clean They accept dogs. Surrounding area is OK and Starbucks nearby. Cons: Strung out junkies sitting on the sidewalk in front of their room by the stairs. Blood splatters on both sides of bathroom door, wall in front of toilet, and on the chrome toilet paper holder. Easy to see if you sit on the toilet. Not sure if from IV drug use or soaked tampon removal. Two roaches and several smaller insects Night stand was broken with drawer missing. Cheetos found on rug under bed during bedbug check. Elevator broken Empty wine bottle in stairwell on top of broken rusty A/C unit. Didn’t seek a new room as it was late and the general appearance of the place gave us no hope another room would be better. Management doesn’t seem to care since at check out staff didn’t ask how my stay was and respond to my statement “I’m checking out of 324” with a simple “bye”. This was advertised as ev charging which is no where to be found. The stairs cannot be to code as there is one set for too many rooms in the event of a fire. The room was incredibly clean for the price but tiny. Paint was peeling visibly. And general wear on all furniture.

Timo RedRoof is clean & desk staff is good. Facility shows its age. Very convenient for my purposes. Pretty far out if you want to go to downtown Balto. So take the Rail Car!

My experience was horrible the room was freezing, roaches crawling up the wall, i have pictures, the bed spread was dirty. I didnt sleep thru the night only to leave for work the next day and never returned. I was suppose to have a 2 night stay. I asked for a refund and was told to call the booking agency who i paid, when i called them which is hotel.com never use them. I was told i had to send them 62.89 and they will look into why i was asking for a refund, i told the man the place has roaches, its cold and dirty. I told the rude man i was talking to i will not send you a dam dime for you to refund the money for the day i didnt stay. I hung up the phone i was so disgusted with the Red Roof in lutherville, md never stay there i guarantee you will be 💯 % disappointed.

I booked this room for a work colleague visiting from NYC. She checked-in late on April 15th and found the room to be not well cleaned, and generally, pretty dirty. Shower was dirty also, and only partly operable. Bed had dirt, hair and liquid spots on linens. Wall paper had large liquid stains running down the wall that had not been wiped clean. Plus, Inconsiderate guests were running up and down all night yelling and screaming, and knocking on doors. Had my colleague not been exhausted, and an evening check-in, she would have-not slept in the room at all. She called me, explained the situation and we checked her out the next morning on April 16th. I should have asked for a refund but we did not. I would now like a refund for the other two days that I already paid for., please. This whole experience was a nightmare for my colleague and friend.

Pulled into a motel that clearly serves as welfare housing or a homeless shelter. Lots of shady people standing outside of “their” rooms. One room had two live cats living in it, making it evident that this was a long term housing situation for some. Had some great Mexican food near by and came back to find a rather large BED BUG crawling on the comforter. There’s never just *one* bed bug so I managed to get it into a plastic cup and brought it to the front desk demanding a refund. The man at the desk was completely unfazed, clearly this was not his first rodeo with this situation. Unacceptable! Pictures and clearly AI generated positive reviews did NOT match the condition of this dump. Do yourself a favor, stay anywhere else!

The property is clean but for a “non smoking” room we definitely smelled cigarette smoke when we opened the door to the room. You hear people walking by the rooms all night since they face outward. The one headboard light didn’t work, the bathroom is very tiny. The property listing says microwave and fridge in room, there is not one in the room. There is only one small trash can in the room. There is no larger outside trash can on the second floor so i had to keep walking down to the trash can outside the lobby to throw away our trash. I didn’t pick the place expecting a 5 star stay, i just needed some place close to my event and that was clean. This place met the requirements.

If you can overlook the base moulding coming off the wall the hole in the blanket, the small bathroom and the overall shoddy appearance then this is a bargain at $85 dollars a night which is half the cost of other nearby motels. No breakfast. Needs a major upgrade but then the $85 will be a thing of the past.

Very run down hotel. The pictures on the site do not capture the condition of the rooms and property at all! Rooms are small and dusky. Some bugs. Furniture is worn . I reserved a "deluxe room"... Which had zero amenities.

The place is in badly need of upgrading. I had to change rooms because the toilet ran on, you can hear water constantly running in the pipes behind the wall and the internet was non-existent. Housekeeping never made the bed or changed the sheets in three days. The towels were changed once and the floor swept once. The only thing thed did was empty the trash can everyday.

The room was very clean, though the air freshener was a little bit heavy.The wifi was strong and reliable. On the down side the bed was not the most supportive and the heater was difficult to work because several of the labels were unreadable so it was kind of guess work.

The property was run down. Tub was clean but wall deteriorated around shower head and shower curtain torn. Two guests ahead of me at check-in, the first already in the process of checking in and it took 40 minutes to check in. Clerk was answerimg both the desk phone and his personal cell phone rather than attending to check-in. Would'nt stay here again

Hotel was ok for the price. My only real complaint was the lady working the front desk was more worried about getting back to her boyfriend than helping me get switched to a double bed instead of a king bed. I was told I had to contact Expedia to change my reservation. I’ve never had this issue before when I needed to change.

It took 30m to check-in. Our first room had roaches in the main room and bathtub, and smelled of old water. Although we were given a newer, cleaner room upon complaint, but someone tried to get in/force the door open during the night. It woke us up and scared us...the person didn't even shut the door tight after they stopped trying. Never again.

First off, we had reservations for 2 king size rooms, was here at 2:51 pm, they refused to check me in, came back, I was told the rooms I rented were not cleaned!! Gave us 2 different rooms, dirty, paint peeling!the person that checked us in was drink oj while ignoring me!

Arrived on a Friday to sit in the lobby well after check in time to find out they overbooked. There was 1 woman in front of me, another couple, me, and then a man behind me. So they charged me for a room with deluxe bedding, a refrigerator, and a microwave, but ended up putting my guest and I in a basic room. Room wasn't up to my standards, but it was already paid for. The furnishings were mostly trashed, the shoeer curtain was rippes, toilet didn't flush right, amd the sheets had stains on them. To top ot off, they refuse to send Expedia requested info so tjat I may receive a difference for the cost of the room I was charged for, but was never given. Buyer beware, stay away!

Beds were springy and uncomfortable. I had to find a worker to get clean towels after a couple days. Elevators were broken,I have a hip and ankle injury and had to walk up 2 flights of stairs. Inside the door it says checkout is at noon. At 1030 my keys didn't work. At 1120 someone was banging on the door telling me checkout was 11am,clearly the door in the room says 12. Not a comfortable experience at all. I was there 4 nights! Not happy

It is what it is a very low price place to sleep near the light rail and public transport. Near the Interstate and all levels of shopping. Location is fine but its a Red Roof for $60- $70 a night. Clean rooms always yet hit or miss of the smells at times and I have stayed her many times

Timo RedRoof is clean & desk staff is good. Facility shows its age. Very convenient for my purposes. Pretty far out if you want to go to downtown Balto. So take the Rail Car!

If you can overlook the base moulding coming off the wall the hole in the blanket, the small bathroom and the overall shoddy appearance then this is a bargain at $85 dollars a night which is half the cost of other nearby motels. No breakfast. Needs a major upgrade but then the $85 will be a thing of the past.

We have stayed at quite a few regular Red Roof Inns (we had a dog), and they were all nicer than this "Plus" version. The 3 receptionists we met were friendly and helpful, but the room was very worn and dated. It was clean, but there was a hole in the bedspread, baseboards were coming loose in the bathroom, and the shower head came through a hole in the sheetrock--no metal flange. There were no amenities, not even a hairdryer. One of the receptionists tried to get one for me, but had no luck. My husband went to the lobby at about 8:45 in the morning to get coffee. There were no cups, but the receptionist got some. Unfortunately, the coffee was at best lukewarm, and there was no way for the receptionist to make more. It apparently gets delivered, sometime. I would rate this hotel minus, not plus.

Management refused to have maintenance fix it, though they did get maintenance to repair a broken security latch on the door. Ended up switching rooms due to toilet issue. New room’s furniture was in terrible shape. AC smelled moldy.

The Red Roof was very delinquent on maintenance. Lights were out. The place was in need of paint and landscaping and the room they offered was dirty and need some maintenance. As result Iwe did not stay. The manager on duty told us we would get our money back since we prepaid on line. To date we haven’t received anything.

Our room toilet was sluggish, then was completely clogged. I talked to Noah, the front-office staff, asking for it to be unclogged while we are out. When we returned 4 or 5 hours later, no work had been done. When I talked again with Noah, he said there was "no mechanic" working today (a Sunday). I asked for a different room. It took 3 hours for him to get us another room. Also, the motel was basically for transients and drug addicts.
