There is remodeling going on and it is very messy. The debris from the construction was all over and none of this was disclosed prior to us coming across it. There were ceiling tiles missing all over the place. The walls are thin and you can hear every door slam and every voice in the hallway while in your room. The room we were in was fine and did smell freshly painted, but the pillows were horribly lumpy and the floor looked like it hadn't been mopped.

Room was nice and updated. Bathroom was awsome. Only thing is that it’s 2 story and they only have stairs to get to the second floor. Which was fine for me. But didn’t realize this when I booked. Glad I didn’t have someone who couldn’t do stairs though. Great breakfast in the morning.

Standard facility. NO ELEVATOR! So if you have heavy luggage, you got use stairs to go up!! Breakfast is at 7AM, if you have early agenda you won't be able to eat it. Parking is good.

The place was pretty clean. The downside was the noise at night outside and the slamming of the exit door when people came in or out. It also didn’t have an elevator not that we needed one but I never been to a hotel where there wasn’t one.

Terrible stay as loud drilling over my room the hours I was in the room. Asked to move and lady at the front desk gave me a hard time saying they needed to make money and they were putting toilets in and we’re gonna be working till 8 o’clock at night so I got moved to a room on the second floor which they then turned out to start renovating that side of the hotel and we’re up and down the hallway today which was my last night there to the point that it was so noisy and distracting and the doors were left open outside so it was cold and I went ahead and checked out early because I could not sleep. It was terrible and again the front desk person said well we have to make money so we have to do it during hours that people are there and I’m like well. This is a hotel you’re supposed to be able to sleep. I shouldn’t have to accommodate people renovating. They should be accommodating the customers will never stay there again it was terrible .

The hotel looks good one thing that was a little bit of a problem was they didn't have an elevator so we had to change to a ground floor room. The girl at the desk changed it right away for the same type of room and it work out good ..

Breakfast was okay, with round eggs, round sausage, potatoes, waffles, yogurts, cereals, etc. Room smelled like stale smoke, especially when I turned off the heater. Having the fan going helped with the smell but it was loud so that was the trade off.

The room 130 had ants, blood on the walls, refrigerator not clean. I gad to buy cleaning products and sprays because the smelled like mildew. I ask to move rooms said it was booked other hotels had doubled the weekend rates. I will not recommend or stay at a La Quinta anywhere in the future. It needs an upgrade badly.

The room is clean and the location of the property is great. We booked 2 rooms both rooms does not have hairdryer. The front desk staff need to be more presentable they looked like they just got out of bed. The lobby smells like marijuana. Our room is on the first floor by the lobby and we can hear the noise from the front desk.

The only thing wrong about the hotel was the thin walls. we were next to the exit door so everytime someone left or came in, that door would shake the walls, mind you we were on the second floor so we heard everything. also the hallways stink of cigarettes and marijuana. Disgusting. Besides that the area around it was ok. Just expected more from the place.

A decent spot to rest with free parking. The location offers decent dining options and grocery stores. Smells of tobacco and beer were wafting into the hallway. The Wifi service was very spotty and even the front desk was having a hard time. The room was not good nor bad -surprisingly they still have Bible in the room. They do have a continental breakfast in the morning - kind of OK. A lot of work crew and people could be seen hanging near the parking lot with beverages and smokes. Located a 45-minute drive away from Union Station/Capitol. If you are visiting DC near the Union Station area the drive is really bad with heavy traffic.

I reserved a Deluxe King room but when I checked in at the hotel I was told the room I reserved was unavailable due to wet paint on the door. I was not aware the hotel was being renovated and that work was going to be done across the hall, down the hall, and even painting in the stairwell (the only way to get to my room on the 2nd floor) during my stay. There was no microwave or dresser in my room so I couldn’t unpack. It was just a bed, tv, and a bathroom. Definitely not worth the money I spent for my stay.

The staff was nice and helpful. The rooms look updated, clean, and the bed was comfy. The issue was the clientele. There was definitely drug activity but the county police officers were there for safety. If youre looking for a quick place to stay on ur way south and ur not deterred by night activity, it's not that bad for the price.

When walking in it smelled like cannabis there was always security at night and it was also noisy. They had expired yogurt. The waffle machine burned the waffle that the fire alarm went off. Morning staff was great evening staff was not.

When I booked my hotel room with Expedia I saw pictures of the actual hotel, but when I got there it was not the same hotel… it looked totally different. It smelled like weed everywhere I went inside, even in my room I could smell it. My room was nice and clean, but the remote control for the TV was beat up and chewed up. The shower door in front of where you control the water does not open but the other sliding door works but you have to get in the shower to turn the water on so I got wet with cold water until I knew how to control the temperature. I went to breakfast at 8:50 AM every morning and all the hot food was gone. I wouldn’t ever stay there again.
