No one was ever at the front desk. Always had to wait for someone to appear. When asked about the bill attendant couldn’t even answer my question. Breakfast was awful - no one to clean tables or refresh food at all. And on Sunday hours need to be extended not close at 9:30. I won’t be back to this particular holiday inn express -

This was the most expensive cheap looking hotel I ever spent money on, and never will again. Mostly at issue are the "amenities". The cheapest tiny microwave up about 5 ft. The refrigerator that made loud thunking noises that woke us up. NO coffee maker in the room, one has to go to the lobby to get it. (Very inconvenient). Next is the bedside table. There was one tiny one between the two beds. NO plugs at all on the outside areas of either bed. These days at least an outlet is a necessity. If for instance you had 4 people, really only 2 could charge their phones and still keep them within reach. For us, my cpap machine took up almost the entire table between, we just about fit our phones on there. The bathroom was set up so badly that standing at the sink meant having one's leg against the toilet. Not great for getting ready. The lighting in the room was abysmal. Either so bright (bathroom) that it was blinding or so dark (other areas) that all needed to be on during movement hours. There is construction right next door. Now this is not the hotels fault but if you are traveling there soon be aware they started pounding away at 7am. It was easy to find, parking was a bit rough at night as they were full up. Breakfast wasn't horrible. Turkey sausage, cheese omelets, the usual continental breakfast fare. Truly odd pancake maker that had people laughing at how long it would take to make a stack of 3. Honestly we took off by 830 AM. There was no appeal in staying at all.

Excellent hotel. Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfy beds, good air conditioning, great swimming pool, good breakfast, and round the clock coffee is also a plus. Great price too! Will return and am already recommending it to friends and co-workers.
