I booked this hotel because it showed that it had a pool and a hot tub. It is not advertised correctly. There is NO hot tub even though it shows photos of its hot tub. The room reeked like cigarettes' smoke and my daughter has asthma. The staff was very friendly and nice, the breakfast was good. I would not choose to stay here again though.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was tasty and had plenty of options for different preferences. The suite style room with kitchenette worked great for our family, and we enjoyed the pool every day. The indoor hotel facilities would have benefited from additional cleaning and vacuuming, such as the breakfast area floor and pool area.

Over the years, I've stayed at Residence Inns in Boston, MA, Albuquerque, NM, The D.C. area and San Diego, CA. They have all been quite enjoyable, excellent facilities, great breakfasts. This place was different, in several ways. Check in was easy enough, but the clerk was either new or not terribly competent. We had two rooms, neither was particularly clean, and we found mold in both of them. The furniture was ... in need of replacement. The beds were comfy and we had clean linens, but in one room the toilet had a problem, which seemed to mystify the desk clerk, who insisted they only serviced the room every six days (this was a maintenance issue) and was less than pleasant about getting it fixed. Breakfast was ... edible if uninspiring. We checked in on Friday, and by Sunday, there was no cereal of any kind, with no expectation of replenishment until Weds (there was grocery store across the highway). While the fitness center was well-equipped, the swimming pool was not well maintained - cloudy water In short, this place was not up to the standards I expect from Residence Inns (and Marriott in general) and I would not return.

The staff was very nice but there was not one extra pillow in the entire hotel? The layout of the hotel room has a nearly empty living room- maybe for a family of six provide more than a 2 seat couch and chair? Also, the room has a full fridge , dishwasher, oven and microwave but one dish, cup and bowl. It just came across as really cheap. Also, the pool is in place but the hot tub has been removed. That is always a welcome feature for parents when kids use the pool. You can tell there was a hot tub previously There that has been replaced by a group Of loungers. Finally, the couch was a sleeper but was stained and kind of gross.

The only thing that upset me was i came here because of the picture of the hot tub on your site and when i got here i was informed that it had been taken out..the pictures shouldn't be there if there is no hottub..

I had a pleasant stay overall. The staff was extremely nice and helpful — they even printed a document for me and remained patient and professional, even while dealing with some technical difficulties. The suite was well-equipped with dishes, utensils, pots, dishwashing liquid, and a sponge, which made cooking and cleaning super convenient. Being right across the street from a grocery store was also a major plus! However, I was disappointed that the pool was not heated, even though I was told it would be — that was a letdown. Still, the convenience and great service made up for it.

Our first room was filthy. I like to santize our rooms upon arrival and the amount of dirt that was found was unexceptable. My sons feet were black from all the dirt. There was pee in the floor in front of the toilet. There were hairs in the bed and tub. Vents were filthy. Pillow in closet for pull out couch was dirty. Front desk said they didn't have another eoom then after I pushed they called someone and suddenly found a room. Second room was cleaner but the toilet would pump every 15 minutes. There was also a fan in that bathroom that would never stop. Pool was closed or construction zone for our entire stay. Staff at breakfast were the only redeeming quality at this place. I have pictures o can forward.

Room not clean, layers of dust on furniture. Old saggy bed, flat pillows. Very basic worn out furniture. Our room had no natural sunlight as it was looking right into the wall and the rooftop. I’d call it a dormitory. Hugely overpriced for the 4th of July weekend, but very limited local hotels at the needed location, hence this stay at Residence Inn. If you can drive further towards Portland, you’d get much better accommodations.

The room was in some disarray when we arrived. The microwave was left open, some towels weren’t put away, the floor didn’t seem to be vacuumed, and the shower had hair and dirt in it.

We liked how close we were to shopping, food and Old Orchard Beach! However the room could have been a lot cleaner. The walls seemed thin and we heard a lot of stomping in our first room. The staff was wonderful cant say enough about them. we did have to move 3 times due to issues with the rooms.

I enjoyed my stay at this property. All of the staff were friendly, but the front desk CSR, Tim, is one of the most helpful people I've come across in a while. He had great food recommendations and was able to answer questions about the area. Breakfast was hot and plentiful every morning. I visited during the off season, so the hotel wasn't full. The only negative I want to mention is there are thin walls and ceilings. My upstairs neighbors were active. Requesting a 3rd floor room will easily solve this minor issue. I would definitely stay here again. It's 5 min from the Mall and maybe 15 to the airport and/or Downtown Portland.

Terrible hotel. I booked online but when I showed up, they didn’t have space for me. For 3 weeks, neither residence inn nor hotels.com have refunded me for a service I never received (contacted customer service twice; promises but no results). Hotels.com says they cannot get in touch with hotel manager. Figure it out. Disputing and taking this to small claims court.

Over the years, I've stayed at Residence Inns in Boston, MA, Albuquerque, NM, The D.C. area and San Diego, CA. They have all been quite enjoyable, excellent facilities, great breakfasts. This place was different, in several ways. Check in was easy enough, but the clerk was either new or not terribly competent. We had two rooms, neither was particularly clean, and we found mold in both of them. The furniture was ... in need of replacement. The beds were comfy and we had clean linens, but in one room the toilet had a problem, which seemed to mystify the desk clerk, who insisted they only serviced the room every six days (this was a maintenance issue) and was less than pleasant about getting it fixed. Breakfast was ... edible if uninspiring. We checked in on Friday, and by Sunday, there was no cereal of any kind, with no expectation of replenishment until Weds (there was grocery store across the highway). While the fitness center was well-equipped, the swimming pool was not well maintained - cloudy water In short, this place was not up to the standards I expect from Residence Inns (and Marriott in general) and I would not return.

I had a pleasant stay overall. The staff was extremely nice and helpful — they even printed a document for me and remained patient and professional, even while dealing with some technical difficulties. The suite was well-equipped with dishes, utensils, pots, dishwashing liquid, and a sponge, which made cooking and cleaning super convenient. Being right across the street from a grocery store was also a major plus! However, I was disappointed that the pool was not heated, even though I was told it would be — that was a letdown. Still, the convenience and great service made up for it.

I would definitely stay here again. It's 5 min from the Mall and maybe 15 to the airport and/or Downtown Portland.

Very impressed despite some older negative reviews. Front desk was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was a hot meal with lots of foods including fresh fruit and individualized quiches, parking was good. The layout of the buildings was confusing and it was unclear on arrival which buildings were the Mariott and which not (poor signage), but no problem once you knew your way. There was steady noise from the interstate running right next to the property but I used earplugs and was fine sleeping; ask for a room on the opposite side.

Very close to many things in the area, Starbucks and Hannaford are right near by. It was quiet and comfortable which was just what I needed on my long trip.

Location was easy to find and near everything - restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, etc. It was clean and quiet, the staff was friendly and helpful. Amenities were great, they had free breakfast in the morning and cookies & hot chocolate at night.

My stay was great! The room was clean. The staff were wonderful and met every request I made. Breakfast was okay. I am not a fan of the turkey sausage patties or links but the scrambled eggs are delicious! The spinicho quiche was excellent!

Staff were friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was tasty and had plenty of options for different preferences. The suite style room with kitchenette worked great for our family, and we enjoyed the pool every day. The indoor hotel facilities would have benefited from additional cleaning and vacuuming, such as the breakfast area floor and pool area.

Very nice stay except the toilet was clogged in the morning. We reported it but it was not fixed before we left. There was also some staining on the sofa Ed mattress. The breakfast was very good and overall it was a positive experience.

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and to venture in and around Portland. We had a great time. The beds were comfy and the room was nice and spacious. The breakfast was the only issue as there were limited options. It would have been great if there was water and fruit available. Other than that, it was great.

Although we were five minutes late to breakfast, the attendant let us take some food for breakfast and provided us plates. And then he threw away the toast I was making. A lit bit of leeway time for breakfast would be great, it's what I base booking a hotel on.

There was food from previous guest is fridge. We were charged twice for pet fee and parking. I had to call the hotel and dispute the double charge. I will return but my radar will be up a bit next time for cleanliness and billing.

I stayed here for a week for business and really enjoyed my stay. The staff were friendly, responsive and helpful. The TV broke and it was quickly fixed and the maintenance person was kind and respectful. Checking was 3pm, but I had work to do and they generously offered me quiet space so that I could. Then facilitated a quick room clean so that I could check-in early. Breakfast was a pretty standard continental style, but everything was hot, fresh and fully stocked. The building is a bit outdated, but clean and in good repair. The suite I was in had everything I needed.
