Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Ann Arbor

This place was extremely clean and the staff very nice. However, I will not be staying here again because the walls are like paper. Two of the four mornings I was there I was woken up by other people's alarms at 5am.

The breakfast was well-stocked, the room was clean and updated, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. I'd happily stay again.

Desk clerk at check in was patient polite and friendly. Room was clean and spacious for a budget motel but in our two bed room the window a/c heater was uncomfortably close to the bed. As is becoming typical in motels, the comforter was too warm and bulky and there was no blanket available. We would have to blast the a/c to be comfortable under one of those ironically named “comforters”. I don’t understand this trend. Mattress average. Breakfast very simple but adequate with boiled eggs, yogurt etc. All in all, still one of the best value accommodations in A2. Beautiful grounds on the south side of the building, great for strolling and observing the wildlife and wetlands.

Bathroom needs more counter space. Room needs more storage space.
