My and my family, we enjoyed our stay at holiday Inn, during our trip to Port Austin. Safe, Quiet, Hot tub and pool, delicious breakfast etc. Hotel staff are very friendly and easy check-In. Hotel cleanliness is great. I highly recommend this hotel. Thanks Raj

Our room was on the second floor and the elevator was very unsteady we got a room with a jetted tub it didn't drain on its own had to remove plug pulse black mold on the wall the pool was over crowded and hot tub was not very warm and all's we got was I will let maintenance know no way to try and make it right we all woke up sniffing and sneezing will not be going back

The reason for low stars is that in the pool area several of the sliding doors where open and large holes in screens . When asked why they were where in despair - manager said pool area was very warm and screen doors were left open - when questioned about holes in screen - screen door on back order! Go to Home Depot !

Overall this is a good hotel. I’m from the area and stayed here over 10 times. It has one of the warmest pools that I’ve been too, which is super nice. This time it was a little colder than usual. I gave 4 stars because the breakfast was not as good as usual. And for the bed. The bed was HORRIBLE. 1st of all it was so tall. I’m 5’4 and the mattress came to my belly button. I literally had to jump on. It was also so uncomfortable. I’m pregnant so I use the bathroom 4-5 times in the night and hopping off the bed and climbing up was hurting my back. I don’t know why it’s so tall.

Terrible staff, rooms weren’t cleaned properly, there was a moldy smell coming from the bathroom. Entrance was not salted and ended up slipping. The manager never apologized or contacted me at all. Worst hotel ever, I do not recommend staying there.

The room was full of cobwebs in corners of the room. It was muggy, the air conditioning wasn’t taking the humidity out of the room and the sheets felt damp. Check-in was not very easy. I made reservations weeks in advance and they had trouble finding them in the computer.

The room was not thoroughly cleaned. There was grime on the bathroom sink built up in the corners. The duvet came out of the duvet cover revealing red and yellow stains. The overhead light at the entrance of the room was full of bugs. We would have left but could not get a refund

Rooms are great size, employees are super nice, breakfast is great. However, the hotel needs some refurbishment. Our room smelled musty and some corners have considerable wear and tear. Curtains need to be real blackout. Other than that, it’s a great place to stay for a short weekend.

I don’t know that the price was worth it, but there aren’t really any other options in the area. Check-in clerk was not friendly, but the breakfast staff was great. The staff was friendly! The suite was absolutely perfect for our stay. The beds set up high but I prefer it thay way. The bathroom was well stocked and roomy! The coffee bar was a very nice touch. Will stay again!!

There was a terribly loud noise that kept us awake for most of the night. i did call the front desk and they tried to figure it out. After a few hours it stopped but lasted approximately 6 hours. Was definitely a bad experience. Requested refund or a credit and was denied, will not visit again

We were there for 3 nights. Room was nice, clean and air-conditioning worked well. Staff was friendly. Liked the bench attached to the closet unit, was very easy to store luggage. Beds were comfortable. Short drive to the coast of the thumb in all directions. Couple of suggestions, some type of lighting in the entrance area of the room, could not see when it was dark if we hadn't left a light on, also to make coffee, use the refrigerator or microwave. Local guide to restaurants and stores near by would have been nice as well as information on using the tv remote. Did not seem to have access to internet to watch other than the channels provided. Would have liked a direct access to the hot6el via telephone as well Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this to others

In each room there are lights on top of the headboards. They didn’t turn off!! I called the front desk and that nice young man couldn’t get them off either. The person he called was the opposite of helpful saying “no, you can’t turn them off. If she doesn’t like it, you can give her a different room.” Why on earth do you think it’s okay to rent a $200 room to someone knowing the lights don’t turn off?!? No warning or disclaimer. Nothing until midnight when I and the staff can’t figure it out.

Front desk person was very differant didn’t tell us breakfast time refused to give us a receipt said we booked thru Expedia so we couldn’t get a receipt from them said they didn’t even know the room charge . Probably won’t stay in this hotel again .

Booked for 2 nights with a late arrival on the 1st day. Checked in a 4am after driving 600 miles. At 830am they started calling and calling my cell at 930 they called the room phone waking me up with little rest. Made us get up and move our stuff to another room. Then on our checkout day, room service was beating on our door (once again waking us up) to clean the room. If checkout is 11 then why are they interrupting our rest. Not to mention slamming doors and talking in the hallway between employees. My input would be, dont bother any guest EVER before checkout.

We were checking in very late (actually a couple hours after midnight-NYE). I called the property earlier in the day to let them know and they said they would put a note on my reservation. When we arrived at 2:00am they had our key cards ready. We really appreciated our room being ready even tho we were arriving so late.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and it was a wonderful experience. The free breakfast was good with delicious cinnamon rolls and the staff was nice when I needed extra towels, tissues, etc.. The staff was also kind enough to allow us to checkout at noon rather than 11am which helped tremendously. The area was a great center point to see all the nearby cities such as Caseville, Port Austin, and Harbor Beach.

The room I had was very comfortable and just a short drive from Port Austin, where others in my family were staying. There happened to be a couple of enthusiastically loud wedding parties on the night I was there, but things quieted down a little after 10:00, so that was fine.
