We enjoyed our stay here very much, it was our favorite hotel during our vacation. The rooms were clean, bright and roomy. The hotel restaurant had fabulous food and a great view of the lake. The pool/hot tub area was nice and well stocked with towels. The staff was friendly and helpful. We even got to listen to the chef sing, she had a nice voice, when we went down to enjoy breakfast, it just made my day.

The property is somewhat dated on the interior. The pool and hot tub water was clear and clean. The restaurant food and service was the highlight of the property. Front deck person very sweet and helpful. Our room was clean except maybe the floor didn't look like it was vacuumed very well. Overall good experience and would recommend.

Room was clean and the pool and hot tub were great. The carpet in the elevator was very dirty (needs to be replaced). We didn’t have pool shoes to wear down from the third floor and had to walk in there bare footed.

The Baraga Lakeside Inn is nice enough. Pros: gorgeous views, swimming pool/hot tub, renovation of the exterior ongoing to improve. Cons: The elevator was not functional for the first few days, and one in our party was mobility challenged. Our room was on the second floor, and it was a real pain to take luggage up, and try to navigate stairs with the mobility issues. Early morning was woken up by construction banging outside our room. The room was cleaned only once during our week-long stay. Their rule is that they won't clean your room unless you specifically request it. The room needed updating - wallpaper was poorly adhered to the wall, the shower head was mounted for a midget, and we aren't super tall. Super tall people would hit their head on the ceiling of the shower very easily. The sofa bed was only used as a sofa, and it was really hard. Did not use it as a bed. Dining was so-so - not bad, but definitely overpriced. It was convenient for the first night, but we looked elsewhere for meals. Lack of veggies is an issue with all meals in the UP. Absolutely beautiful views for the 4th of July fireworks in Baraga.

The room was clean and comfortable although the windows were very dirty outside and had a squashed fly on the inside when we arrived. The hotel looked like it needed some TLC. There was a beautifully situated patio on the lake but it was not kept clean and orderly. The choice of food on the menu was very limited, as was the breakfast. No fruit, yoghurt or cereal.

Great location, beautiful property. Hotel is located right on the edge of Lake Superior with plenty of areas to relax and walk. The on-site restaurant had a limited but good menu. They’re open from breakfast through dinner. Prices are average to average high. Great service and great tasting food. Good portion size. Overall, the rooms are ok. Our room was clean with comfy beds. The room could use some updating. Walls are a little thin. We would have no reservations about staying again. For our trip, it was perfect.

The staff was very friendly. We didn't really have any special interaction with them so I can't say what would have happened if we needed anything. There is not a complimentary breakfast which surprised us but there is a restaurant on site. Our waitress was the best server we've ever had and the portions are way to generous for the price asked..I'd recommend thinking about splitting a breakfast. Our only complaint was that we had a king said bed and the mattress cover and fitted sheet wouldn't not stay over the pillow top on the mattress. We struggled to keep the sheets on and not sleep in a heap of bedding or sleep on the mattress. It sounds minor but it disrupted both me and my husbands sleep. We were also at the end of a hall across from the stairwell. A lot of noise came through everytime any one used the stairwell. Would have been nicer if the door was a little more soundproof. The hotel has a comfortable room with computer for guest use. An exercise room, hot tub and indoor pool. Our room was nice sized, clean and plenty of electronics related outlets, refrigerator, microwave and coffee. A clean room. Our room also had a nice view of the lake and sunrise.

Didnt get balcony room as requested. No WiFi in our room. Only 2 electrical outlets. My husband and I had to sleep in separate beds to plug in our cpaps!DIRTY floor!

Nothing unique, but nice place. Our beds were very comfortable, and while not excellent the room was decently clean. The "lake view" was a bit disappointing. The only view was if you were standing up. Took almost 15 min to check in because he was on the phone, and apparently no one else to help. Can't say staff went out of their way to be friendly at all. We ordered pizza from the on site restaurant and it was excellent!!! It would be nice if breakfast was be included.

TV volume did not work when we checked in on Thursday night. Staff could not get it working. Maintenance was knocking on the door and woke me up at 8AM. I told them to let us sleep. Maintenance man came back and knocked on the door two more times. I finally called front desk and told them to have maintenance come to our room. When he did, he unplugged both the TV and cable box. All worked right after he did this. Maintenance guy told us staff should have called him when we checked in. I e-mailed the hotel manager and said we should have got the room free that night because the TV did not work. Hotel did not respond.

Everything at property was ok. Except red head lady working night shift. Very unpleasant. I asked for a lower level room because I had a hip replacement lately. She informed me she cant control it. I then asked if possible to get a room with lake view. She handed me my license and credit card back and told me to contact expedia. The hotel was dead empty. I travel for work and get hotels everyweek. I know this is not how it works. Extremely unpleasant lady.

Great staff and exceptional integrity. I dropped my money leaving the building and was all the way in the parking lot when I realized my purse was open and saw “money gone!” Backtracking to look for it I was greeted by the desk clerk/ bartender waving my money. She said we were the only people who went out during the few minutes!!!! I had my $200 in cash back.

Fantastic location for UP traveling, amazing restaurant with great pricing (and better portions). Only complaint was that our room keys stopped working almost every time we returned to the property during our stay. Staff was quick to assist and fix this for us, it was a recurring issue for our stay though. 9/10

The room needed updating. For example,none of the outlets worked in the bathroom and in the main room we had to unplug a light to charge our phones the heating system was old and loud. The restaurant was the best! The waitresses were great and food very good!

We went to the lounge for dinner. Service was very slow. Food was ok but a little pricy. The waitress came and took our water pitcher. Did not fill our empty water glasses before taking. There was a water line that sprung a leak. We never Igot our water pitcher back. She never came back to check on us. Just dropped the bill off. We saw her outside smoking when we left.

They need to not advertise that the restaurant is open until a certain time. We went to go eat at 7:15 pm and was told the restaurant was closed. The front desk and all the information for hotel states Sunday-Thursday 8m Friday Saturday until 9.

The room was clean. The staff was nice. Parking was very convenient, all the spots were very close to the door. The only downside was the restaurant, which was VERY expensive with mediocre food. Even the breakfast wasn't that great, and it takes a lot to screw up breakfast
