Baymont by Wyndham Beulah

It was easy to check in I paid online. Upon getting there, I met the clerk at the desk. He's very polite. I told him I brought my service dogs. He said that was fine. I took the pleasure of even showing him their license. So some people make these up, but I don't believe in that. He. told me I was at the end of the hall to make it convenient to go in and out of the hotel. We unpacked our bags and went in the room I was very pleased. We were running real late and they held our room for us. They couldn't have been more accommodating. I picked up my daughter in southern law, and it was too late to take them back. to Ludington from where we were. So we let them spend the night in the other bed Normally we sleep in two separate beds. But we let them spend the night so we wouldn't have to drive all night. There was. a lot of traffic. The property banished. But was very accommodating. When we got back, it was late, but they still let us get the hot tub outside. which was like a little jacuzzi. Loved it And then we got in the pool. The pool was somewhere. around 75 degrees. The pool is large and very nice. It's only four feet deep, so no diving. There is an elderly lady. wheelchair bench to lower someone in the water. Note the floor was slippery. when wet. So be careful. Everything smelt clean and everything was clean. Upon leaving the pool, we went back upstairs to her rooms. The bathroom was tidy and clean. Plenty of towels for everyone. I missed there were no grab bars in the show

Hot tub did not appear operational—was warm and low water turbulence but when set timer there was no change in water movement

The only thing was the jaccuzi didn’t work. We were looking forward to that and were dissapointed.

The outdoor hot tub was unexpected and great both times that we went in.

Last minute booking to get out of the rainvwhile camping at Sleeping Bear park. Staff was very friendly (appeared to be family run). Our room was very clean & comfy. The included breakfast was really good & hot (eggs, pancakes, cereal, yogurt, coffee, etc). There was a pool, fitness area, and laundry. Very close to Sleeping Bear & other area attractions.

Totally a foreign run hotel communication is barely possible here but, Very beautiful grounds Comfortable beds and our rooms were modern and beautiful !! The indoor pool is very small and very busy when we were there was full of children. The hot tub is located outside not very hot but comfortable also very busy. We did not get to enjoy these amenities at all never found room for our family of 4 .. I had reservations for two rooms adjoining they did not accommodate that our rooms were not together. That is my biggest con considering it was my two teenage children. We wanted to be together with them the whole reason I got two rooms at all we had a family emergency had to leave one night early. They did not accommodate that at all did not even care. I returned the keys as I noted earlier foreign run so there was no communication between the front desk and me at all when we left would I stay there again ? probably only because it’s off the beaten path yet close to Empire and Platte River for canoeing within a 15-20 minute drive. As far as breakfast, terrible breakfast the worst coffee absolutely disgusting and there is no breakfast places within 20 minutes of a drive as far as lunch and dinner restaurants quite a bit to choose from we ate at top dog. It was ok

Hotel was clean and comfortable. I especially liked the hot tub being outside under the stars.

I have stayed at this property 2-3 times a year for several years now, when I travel north to go birding/hiking at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. As a single woman traveling alone and kinda fussy, I appreciate their attention to the cleanliness of the entire hotel. I have no problem walking barefoot in the room because I know it’s clean. All room surfaces are immaculate…and the bed comfort is beyond wonderful! Just wish I had one at home like this. HUGE TV in the room for evening watching, Keurig coffeemaker…large towels - It just the best for comfort.

When we got into our room there was a “box” of some sort on the chair that was plugged in and a faint smell After the air conditioner ran for a while the smell got worse. We fell asleep and both woke up in the middle of the night with difficulty breathing, coughing, nausea and tightness in our chest. I went to the front desk and was told that the box was an ionizer that they used to kill germs and viruses. They had us swap rooms at 2AM and the new room was better. But we are both still coughing . I went back to the bad room in the morning to make sure we didn’t leave anything and the smell was so strong I almost puked. I cannot believe they put us on a room that had an air conditioner that was doing this. Also, when I asked to talk to a manager, I was told he would not be in until the afternoon and he would contact me. He didn’t!! Also one couple with our group had a room where the bathroom wasn’t cleaned and there was fecal matter all over. They also got a new room, but apparently putting guests in good rooms initially is not important

My third stay at this property this year, and it continues to be maintained at an extremely high level. Cleanliness seems to be their Number 1 Priority and is reflected throughout the lobby, hallways, rooms, and even the landscaping. Location is within a few miles of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore hiking trails. It is JUST the BEST!

Kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The pool towels had a strong ammonia smell. Our room smelled a little wet/musty as well, but was clean overall! Breakfast was good. We liked the eggs & other hot options. Doors were a little hard to open (side door entrance as well as room door). Beds were very comfortable!

Surprisingly expensive for the area...rural Michigan town. But maybe cheaper alternatives would not have a comfortable bed like we had here. Had a Kuerig machine which was nice touch. Tv difficult to operate.

Overall a very good value. Rooms were clean. Free breakfast was good and varied each day. Beds were very comfortable once you got in them. Very high off the ground made it difficult. Shower was slippery and had no grab bars.

Quick check in. Staff very friendly. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was very good with plenty of selections. Hotel was clean. Didn’t use pool, spa or fitness center but they were available. Surrounding area from hotel had plenty of restaurants and basic shopping. Only complaints would be water pressure in shower and smell of towels. Water pressure issue might have been room specific because when you switched from spout to shower, water came out both. As far as towels, I’m not sure what their being washed with but the had a very foul smell. Overall though we were very happy with the hotel and would stay again.

Very clean, quiet, well maintained property. A good value for visitors to Sleeping Bear Dunes. The breakfast was pretty standard with a variety of hot and cold options. Our only cooncern was the height of the beds. Shorter people will really struggle getting into them. There was an indoor pool and outdoor hot tub, that looked nice, which we did not use. Our room did have a small plastic folding stepstool, but if you need to get up at night thats a safety issue.

Beautiful area, amazing night shift lobby staff.

We enjoyed our stay at the Baymont hotel in Beulah. It was clean and secure, just off the main road. My kids loved the pool. The morning staff was fantastic and polite. My biggest issue was the price. We arrived after 11pm and paid over $250 for one night. (Other area hotels were under $200.) When I asked to check out at noon, I was told it was an additional fee. Then, right at 11, housekeeping opened our door without knocking.

Didn’t intend to stay in Beulah originally, but travel schedule had us end up there, and found this to be a great stay. Pool area has long hours for kids and families. Location was quiet.

I have stayed at this property twice a year for several years now, and I can say unequivocally it is the best maintained property I have ever stayed at. Their attention to detail is unsurpassed. I have nothing to say but positive comments about this hotel: It is beyond clean, the amenities perfect for my type of stay, and the staff, both housekeeping and front desk, are wonderful. The location is right at the edge of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, which makes it a prime location to stay if you are interested in hiking, cycling, etc. I stayed for four days this time and am planning a return visit in late July. It’s simply the best!

We only stayed one night in this hotel so we could visit Traverse City. It was in a good location and very quiet. We checked in very late so we were only there to sleep. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast options were decent.

I highly recommend this hotel. Nice and quiet, driving distance to Lake Michigan, quaint cities, M22, Traverse City, small restaurants and hometown bars.

Nothing Unique Our couch in a King Suite was very uncomfortable for ladies in their 80’s Hard and one side broken Needed another table besides the desk in the suite for luggage and things (there was room but just an empty space Also another tv by the couch area Always two in Suites Breakfast coffee needs provement - they have water coffee from a machine 😩😩 I went out and bout my own and used with the Keurig in the room

Good breakfast options. Cold Cereals. Oatmeal Packets. Pancake Making Machine. One day scrambled eggs and sausage. Next Day mini Cheese Omelets. Basics like bread, bagels, yougart, and etc

Very comfortable bed and excellent shower. The breakfast was terrible. Overall, the hotel was incredibly expensive (bad value for the money). For the price, breakfast should have been a feast. The cost was comparable to many of the fantastic and charming hotels that we have stayed at in Rome, Barcelona, Paris, etc. This hotel was an acceptable place to take a shower and get a good night’s sleep between hanging out at Sleeping Bear Dunes.
