The room was a decent size and the bed was comfortable but the pool. The pool was the most disgusting area. No ventilation, mold all over the walls and on the floor and furniture. Who puts a carpet (area rug) in a pool area that is meant for a living room? The water was so cloudy you could barely see the bottom. We came back to the hotel early (7ish) with hopes of enjoying the pool. Once back in our room, our tvs didn’t work and couldn’t get the phone to work to call front desk. The gentleman that was able to help us was on getting the tv fixed which was nice. Would I recommend this hotel, yes for the sleeping aspect of things but as for the rest, no.

Awful!! Upon checking in there was a sign reading, “Pool Closed.” I was unaware there was a pool closure when booking. After checking in even though I was upset about the pool closure, I arrived to my room. The fireplace and tv remotes would not connect. I went to the receptionist explaining the problems I was having he became maintenance and tried to fix it himself. He brought in another cable box and was unable to connect it to the tv. He changed my room and when I arrived to my new room hoping to relax, the fireplace still did not work and there was no toilet seat cover on the toilet I was very dissatisfied. I explained to the receptionist that the fireplace did not work and his reponse was they do not work they are only for display. I wanted to cancel and get a refund which I was denied the receptionist explained there is a 5 minute window to cancel when first arriving. I was forced to stay and the following morning I checked out as soon as possible and waited to speak to the manager to only receive a 25% refund. I had gotten the room with the jetted tub and paid extra and I did not even feel comfortable to use it. Horrible experience I do not recommend this hotel! Snack room was not up to par with other hotels.

Hotel was dirty. The carpets are bed but literally stained black..Limited parking. Walls are stained with all kinds of crap on them. Bathroom sinks are stained yellow ..The bed was like a brick. Falling down mess of a place. Linens were clean and bathroom was updated that’s the only part that was fine. Pool had no towels, so much chemicals your eyes burn walking in but the water was cloudy and gross. Ceiling falling down above the pool. Laundry area out of service. Carpets disgusting. Staff when checking in was rude and messed up the check in. Entire building reeks of marijuana despite signs everywhere saying that’s not tolerated there.

Stafff was very friendly. Pool was under renovation which was one of our main reasons for choosing this place. Tv had lines in it, lock on door was broken, beds were rock hard, pillows were completely flat, enough towels for one person, breakfast was cheerios or a bagel. Vending machine on our floor was completely empty.

We left after being in the room for about 10 minutes. The smell and overall cleanliness was awful. So many broken or cracked things. Curtain rods, fixtures, ceiling, bathroom walls ect. The smell would have ran anyone out. Like it was used for an hourly service. We nicely left and told them the keys were in the room. I asked for a refund and as of 24 hrs kater no, i still cant get the "manager " to call me back or answer calls.

Roaches everywhere! Our door handle was totally jacked at the base like someone had broken in at one time. The bed was cracked in the middle of support beam. When reported it was noted then ignored. The subfloor sags across the girders when any weight is applied in the tub main room by windows and in the middle of the floor of the room. There are stress cracks around the window frames and a clear shearing from the walls and support columns. The main entry sky light while gorgeous shows dangerous degradation around its joints and supports through the drywall surrounding it. The skylight itself has stress and water stains and cracking around it indicative of water damage. Pool was dirty and unsafe to use. The elevator is in terrible shape and needs a inspection. We booked for 20+ days and because of the horrible conditions left after a few days..Not worth the price. Staff is great however the breakfast lacking and scant. Great staff they work too hard to save a place that the owners obviously gave up on years ago. Not recommended 😕 😑

Place was dirty, I was on the 3rd floor and there were spots in the hallway I felt like I was going to fall through. AC was noisy and would shut off when the room was hot. Bathtub felt like I was going to bust through that as well.

Well situated hotel near the Henry Ford Museum and other attractions. The bed was very comfortable and the TV remote, the refrigerator and the microwave all worked. The bathroom was excellent and the room was very clean overall. Nearby dining was mostly limited to take-out type places. Very quiet at night except for the returning AC DC fans from the concert at Ford Field.

Location and price were very good. Some remodeling has been done, but the carpeting in the common areas and stairways especially were very dirty. While there were new headboards on the room ( hung weirdly high) the other furniture was worn. The property is non smoking, but the stairway (the one farthest from the elevator) smelled strongly of smoke. The breakfast was just bagels, premade waffles, and juice. Better than nothing, but sort of meager.

I was put in a room directly under multiple children and 2 dogs. I stayed here for 2 nights and barely got any sleep. I work 3rd shift and was i convenienced. I spoke to the front desk the 2nd day and they said they will resolve the issue and never did. Next day spoke to someone else and they didnt care and was not helpful at all. Worse stay ever and will never return. Oh and had to pay more than the first reservation i made on a different location. I truly feel i should be refunded part of what i paid. My boyfriend went to fo speak to the loud guest and no change. Continental breakfast was nothing a normal person would make

The cable didn’t work upon arrival and after several hours and box changes that was fixed. The pipe under the sink in the bathroom had a major leak. The bed was very comfortable.

Good, quiet location. Clean hotel facility and pleasant staff. A nice retail plaza with multiple restaurants and major retail stores is only a 15 minute drive away with only one turn to get there. The only downsides is that the walls were a little thin and the Wi-Fi signal strength is far too weak on the upper floors.

The guest above me was extremely loud from literally 1a.m until about 4 a.m. It sounded like they were playing football above my head. That's not the hotel's fault I understand that. However, when I called the front desk literally around 15 times every call went unanswered.

First let me give the staff a big shout out- Brady was super helpful and very accommodating. We had to rebook for additional days due to unforeseen circumstances and Brady was quick to help us. The hotel is going through renovations as it is a bit outdated but the rooms are comfortable and clean. We had issue with our fridge making a constant weird noise and it was replaced very quickly. The breakfast is limited but they do have coffee available 24/7. I would stay here again.

The floor I was on which was the 3rd floor smelled like cat pee. The First Lady I had that told me check in was at 4 and I asked if I could pay for an early check in she said they didn’t offer that but after doing some searching it said they did if you paid $20 so I was very upset about that if I hadn’t already paid for the room and could cancel and get my money back I would have went to a different hotel. The room was very nice though considering the smell on the 3rd floor the room did not smell like that which I was very grateful for… the Second Lady I had at check in was very sweet and helpful and the man in the morning at check out was an absolute delight! over all not a bad hotel just wish the First Lady would have let me pay for the early check in.

The First Lady I had that told me check in was at 4 and I asked if I could pay for an early check in she said they didn’t offer that but after doing some searching it said they did if you paid $20 so I was very upset about that if I hadn’t already paid for the room and could cancel and get my money back I would have went to a different hotel. Did not end up staying at the property. I booked another room at a different property at my own expense. I called the night before (Friday night, not early in the day) my stay - prior to booking - and asked if they offered early check in telling them that I was looking specifically for as early in the day as possibly on Saturday morning. While the front desk clerk did inform me that early check in was subject to availability, they failed to mention that the property was already mostly booked and it was highly unlikely that an early check in the day day would be possible. They rather let me book, keeping this information to themselves, and choosing profit over customer satisfaction. For this reason I will never book at this property again, or any property owned by these owners either.

We had a good hotel stay here. Was about 12min from downtown Detroit. The hotel is easy to get to, clean and staff was friendly. Quick check in & I never felt unsafe at any point. Just what we needed for a quick overnight trip for a concert!

Well situated hotel near the Henry Ford Museum and other attractions. The bed was very comfortable and the TV remote, the refrigerator and the microwave all worked. The bathroom was excellent and the room was very clean overall. Nearby dining was mostly limited to take-out type places. Very quiet at night except for the returning AC DC fans from the concert at Ford Field.

We stayed here as a family in town to see a Tigers game and the Henry Ford museum. We were in easy driving distance to both, so that worked out great. There weren't many restaurants directly nearby, but there are several within 1-2 miles down the road. There was a gas station right on the corner, which was convenient as well. Easy, convenient parking. One thing we were bummed about was the swimming pool. The water was FREEZING cold. My son gamely tried to swim, but his skin was like ice when he got out, so he couldn't last long in it. It was so miserable and a big disappointment since we specifically picked this hotel for the pool. The breakfast was fine (waffles, cereal, bagels, oatmeal). No protein except yogurt, but they were out of yogurt the second day. So it was clean and fine, but not spectacular.

My Mom and I stayed one night. The hotel was clean, easy to access, and close to downtown Detroit. We were attending a concert at St. Andrews Hall and it took us 15 min to get there. We booked based on a continental breakfast and there was only bagels, waffles, one apple and no cream cheese. I had to leave and go to McDonald's because I couldn't eat anything, but the apple. I was not happy. When we got back our door keys didn't work. The worker did apologize and activated them again, but I do not want to book this inn again.

Some lights needed to have bulbs replaced, the door to the swimming pool did not work but just needed a new battery, the cover on the toilet had a chipped out piece. The breakfast was a disappointment too. We'd expected more of a choice of items available. We did find the staff to be helpful and the bed was comfortable.

Location and price were very good. Some remodeling has been done, but the carpeting in the common areas and stairways especially were very dirty. While there were new headboards on the room ( hung weirdly high) the other furniture was worn. The property is non smoking, but the stairway (the one farthest from the elevator) smelled strongly of smoke. The breakfast was just bagels, premade waffles, and juice. Better than nothing, but sort of meager.

A little loud at times, but I was directly across from the pool, so after that closed, the sound subsided. Honestly, my main complaint was the "free breakfast." If you're going to charge as much as you do, y'all need to have something more than a few bagels. That was almost worthy of laughter.

We enjoyed staying there and plan to book Italian for our next trip in August. Only 2 things we didn't like was our room was on the 2nd floor I use a walker so I had a hard time going up and down the stairs. And the pool was cold but we still used it
