Great location, across the street from Pellston Airport. We went to Macinaw City one day then the next day we went to Petoskey “Balloons on the Bay” Mom & Pop Hotel was clean. Didn’t get a chance to use the pool and large hot tub. It looked amazing. Hot tub was out of order.

Cute log cabin theme and decor. Has free breakfast, an indoor pool and jacuzzi, and staff is very helpful and polite. Workout room is a treadmill, eliptical, and workout bike but is better than nothing. Also has a washer and dryer for guest use. Our room was clean and beds were comfy. We stayed here for 4th of July weekend and will keep this in mind for the future.

Staff at check in was super friendly and inviting. The room was dirty specifically the carpet. We found bottle caps under the table, hair around sink on floor in the bathroom. We had to call for a remote for the tv. But one was brought up quickly.

This hotel is older and could use a remodel. The carpeting was not very clean. The water has a very strong sulfur odor. The sink, tub and toilet are stained with hard water discoloration. The beds were relatively comfortable. I feel it was quite overpriced for the condition of the place but it did the job, we slept and moved on.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels, and this is hands down the FILTHIEST hotel I have ever visited. Checked in at 8pm after a long day of traveling with my two young kids and we just needed a place to sleep/ shower before continuing our trip. The first room we were given smelled horrible like cigarettes, the tabletop and other surfaces were dusty and grimy, there was a potato chip on the nightstand and a huge hairball in the bathroom. We requested a new room and we weee moved upstairs- there is no elevator so we had to carry everything up the stairs. The second room was a little cleaner, but there was so much human hair EVERYWHERE. We were all too grossed out to shower, which completely defeated the purpose of staying there. There was a bloodstain on one of our pillows and the bed side lamp didn’t even work. Don’t east your money staying here, you’ll just be mad at yourself for paying for the worst lodging experience you’ll ever have

Showed up and the room was filthy! Never vacuumed and had crumbs all over floor and pubic hair all over floor in bathroom!! Beds were just made with the existing sheets and blankets from previous customer..Towels were brownish yellow and needs to be replaced. This hotel needs a complete remodel.A/C barely cooled the room! For the price just shy of 200.00 it was not worth it at all! Staff was friendly and understood and cleaned it as best they could.. Don’t waste”your time!

The person checking Us in was very efficient . And we were pleased with the appearance of the outside of the hotel . The only problem was rust stains in the sink and in the bathtub. When we checked in the shower curtain was still wet at the bottom and had rust stains.

I would have given 5 stars across the board because our stay was wonderful except our tub was filthy. I had to clean it out to use it and it dirtied 3 cloths. Staff was awesome though and the bed was comfy and clean! Nice room!

It is an average hotel with very average amenities. The TV in the room was the size of a monitor and the bathroom fan/light were tied together so you got to hear a jet engine when you just wanted to wash your hands

No elevator. Had to lug two bags up a staircase. Breakfast very limited and had nothing I wanted to eat. No USB outlets at all for charging devices without a brick adapter. Electrical outlets not convenient to the bed. The television is laughably small.

Property was more than I expected in a Northern Michigan setting. Beds were fairly comfortable. TV is super small-more like a computer monitor-but the channel offerings were great! Walls and floors were thin as we could hear a baby crying nearby and a gentleman was at the desk informing them there were little kids jumping around in the room above him. He was sweet and trying not to complain, but it was 10pm! Overall, a nice and convenient place to stay.

Try to get a room not next to housekeeping door. It was slammed open and close non-stop early in the morning. Talking loud. I put sign out for housekeeping and they never came to the room. Sign was still there and nothing was done. Front desk was nice. We left early on last day from being woke up from noisy staff.

It is out dated which is fine. Breakfast was just random items. Example sausage links and biscuits. No gravey. Pancake machine was annoying most who used it. Room was never cleaned. I even called front desk & requested it. Never came we had to stop daily for towels. Even had to request toilet paper. We left the last night because the room was lacking. Also bedding is laundered in something harsh. I have stayed in many hotels first one the bedding made my skin itch.

We were there for an overnight stay catching a flight back from our vacation. Very nice people at the desk, the room was clean and comfortable, the man at the front desk drove us to the airport the next morning ar 5:15 AM. Our stay met all our expectations.

Horrible check in experience. Room keys did not work. Tried 3x. Felt bad for the guy working because he was the only staff there at 8:30. He had to check in people and try to fix our door and had to take it apart. Finally got into our room 1hr 35 mins later. We were ready to ask for a refund and drive 4 hrs home. Supposed to be no pets and someone had there dog that barked nonstop for an hour. It was a clean place but that was it. Guy kept rolling his eyes when I would come back and tell him the door didn’t work. He went to try it and I said told you so!!

The check in process took forever. The customer service rep was amazing. She was new but was doing her best. No one told them they were deep cleaning some of the rooms, and we were put in two different dirty rooms (as were other customers, so there was a long line of us trying to get into the clean room). I checked my statement twice and was double charged for the hotel and had to call to get it refunded. The pool had a lot of chlorine and left us all with burning eyes. The breakfast was good but the pancake maker got stuck often.

Extremely limited options for dinner, especially for those who are disabled. No restaurant on site. Other restaurants not accessible for those who cannot walk across to the airport restaurant and/or without their own transportation. Had to have a pizza delivered from a few towns over. :-(

A nice rustic hotel with a pool and hot tub. Rooms a bit shabby and beds not very comfortable. Also, nothing nearby but an airport, so eat before you come or pay $8 for a small bag of chips or cookies at the hotel's mini store. Free breakfast was nothing but ordinary. Dry biscuits with pepper gravy, no eggs or meats or flavorless mini pancakes.

Parking area was fine. Breakfast wasnt good. Not a great selection. Says open till 10am and they shut it down a little after 930am. Room was clean but checking in no one waa at the front desk and when they came out was on their personal cellphone.
