I've stayed here many times and it's always been clean and comfortable. This time, however, there were hand written signs taped to doors and windows saying, "Pool and Hot Tub are out of order. Sorry for the inconvenience. No Refunds!" The desk clerk said the pool guy was supposed to be in that day but she never saw anyone. I said that I was glad I hadn't brought my great granddaughters because they would've been devastated! She then said that it's been down for 3 months!

This property is conveniently located off 131. It’s in the location of many restaurants but far enough that bothersome noise and traffic is not a factor. It seems it was recently renovated, however, the keyless entry from the outside is broken making the property not very safe or secure. They list part of their amenities as requesting their residents to be quiet from 10PM until the morning. They further request that there is no yelling, or loud talking or noise as the walls are almost paper thin. Besides this, breakfast in the morning is good. And the staff when present is really pleasant. Sometimes this facility is unmanned.

The tray for the coffee supplies was dirty. It was covered on old food crumbs. I needed a step for the bed for my mother. They gave me one from the laundry area. It was filthy. I carry Lysol wipes in the car. I used many wipes to make clean enough to stand on the top. I think a worker is living in one of the rooms. A child about 12 rode a bike around the lot all evening. A person (worker?) wearing no shoes walking down the hall pushing a bin full of laundry. The pool area out of order. Sign posted no refunds after checking in. Will not recommend or stay again.

I have stayed here many times. I will continue to do so. The room was super clean and the staff has always been very nice. It is close to Starbucks, Meijer, and many fast food places. The lovely town of Plainwell is minutes away and the neighborhoods are great to walk through.

Stained sheets, bathroom floor dirty, shower curtains too short and allowed water all over the floor, can hear through the walls. I stay a lot in hotels and this could use some TLC for sure. Nice and friendly staff!

I liked the updated room and the lovely beds and bathroom, but when I opened the door I was greeted with a terrible odor. I thought it was dog smell but the desk clerk said there had been no dogs in that room. I sprayed the carpet with provided Lysol but the odor returned a few hours later. It smells like a cross between dog, teenager stinky feet, and mildew. Since it is right across from the pool, I can see why. There was no room available to move me to so i had a sleepless night waking up every one or two hours. The breakfast was great. Its just that stikin' smell.

Overall, the hotel is fine, but the carpet in the rooms is pretty dirty. On our second night, a group of people yelled and stomped up and down the hallway all night, followed by someone pounding on another room's door extremely loudly. Didn't get any sleep. Otherwise, the staff is nice. This is just your typical 2-star hotel.

The rooms were nice. Our bathroom sink plug was broke and notified the front desk. Lights in stairway did not work. In the morning we didn’t have hot water at times. Television was terrible quality and bad color. Didn’t like that there was no local television channels available. Our room was near the front desk which made it noisy in the early morning. Stairway carpet was not vacuumed.

We stay here often as the location is great for us. Unfortunately, we arrived late, and we got a room above the lobby and breakfast bar. The second floor was open to below and our room was right there. Anytime someone came into the hotel or people talking at breakfast, the noise came right into our room. So I would definitely stay, just ask for the first floor or away from the lobby.

The only downside that we encountered was noise. The walls, doors and ceiling are not very soundproof. It wouldn’t necessarily stop me from staying there again, but it was noticeable!

Mattress was very comfortable and room was clean overall. Toilet was definitely nkt cleaned from previous stay though. Cable setup was not great, definitely lacking compared to most hotels. Cheapest alarm clock possible and 1 of the 2 power outlets near the bed didn't work properly. Breakfast was decent. Great value and overall good value.

Our air conditioner did not work and it was very humid. Made for a couple of uncomfortable evenings. We notified the front desk and was told, "sorry, the owners can't be reached". Other than that issue, everything thing else was good

We arrived on 5/24. Television didn’t work due to internet problem. Desk clerk attempted to fix it. We were advised someone would fix it the next morning, which was okay due to we were out and about. 05/25, early A.M. I mentioned something to one of the 5 females behind the counter. She said she would put a note on the room. We came back later in P.M., still not working. Talked to a different clerk, she attempted to fix it with no progress. She moved us to a different room. Also business computer not connected to internet in the business room.

Bed was comfy. Room was overall comfortable. A little noisy with doors slamming outside (we were on the corner of first floor) but it was a nice stay. Nice breakfast. Sad the pool was out but hey, it happens. They need maintenance too

One lady at the front desk was absolutely amazing we didn't get into plainewell till 4:00 so when i went it the computer says we were a no show well obviously we showed up and our keys were laid out! So she went ahead and gave us our room!! Thank God it was 4:00am and we just drove 5 hours. The next day some other lady maybe the owner or manager im not sure what she was besides rude. She came to our room the next day at like 12 and said if you cant pay you all need to leave i had the money to pay so i told her she didn't have to be so rude the only reason the first payment didn't go through cause my card was locked so i told her please try it again then she said if you don't have the money you can leave there was no reason she needed to talk down to me and my boyfriend.. If it was not last minute we would of left right then and there i really wish i new her name id love for others to know how rude this lady was!!

Sam was at the welcome desk when I arrived to check in. He was friendly, courteous and efficient. When I had an issue with the TV in my room, he was quick to try to resolve and explain the issue. He ended up arranging for me to move up another room across the hall and offered to bring a cart or assist me in moving my belongings. He checked my previous room to ensure that I had not forgotten anything and made sure that the TV in my new room was functioning properly. When I returned from dinner, he greeted me with a genuine “Welcome back!” I understand he is new to this position. He is an asset to the Comfort Inn.

We had a wonderful stay here this past weekend. The rooms were very nice and clean. The staff were all amazing and very attentive. It was quite busy, as we were there for a large youth wrestling tournament. The front desk was quick and efficient, the sweet ladies somehow managed to keep the breakfast area fully stocked (even with dozens of hungry wrestlers there) and our rooms were kept clean and well stocked. The pool area was nice as well. Absolutely will be back!

I have stayed here many times. I will continue to do so. The room was super clean and the staff has always been very nice. It is close to Starbucks, Meijer, and many fast food places. The lovely town of Plainwell is minutes away and the neighborhoods are great to walk through.

This property is conveniently located off 131. It’s in the location of many restaurants but far enough that bothersome noise and traffic is not a factor. It seems it was recently renovated, however, the keyless entry from the outside is broken making the property not very safe or secure. They list part of their amenities as requesting their residents to be quiet from 10PM until the morning. They further request that there is no yelling, or loud talking or noise as the walls are almost paper thin. Besides this, breakfast in the morning is good. And the staff when present is really pleasant. Sometimes this facility is unmanned.

Arrived after a 7 hour drive with plans for 3 children to have pool for the weekend. Sign on door saying the pool wasn’t working & there are no discounts. Nothing close in the area at this late notification with comparable pricing. The location is very convenient to the expressway as well as shopping and dining. It is very loud, and not from traffic, but the walls are thin, making it difficult to sleep. There was construction and the front door was blocked off (maybe they're finally getting an automatic front door?) and it was inconvenient to have to get my key card out with full hands when coming back from shopping to open the side door. And, I paid for a room that included breakfast, and there was no breakfast. Being there for work and working all night and not getting a break to eat at work I was really looking forward to breakfast only to find that they didn't even have grab and go items. I went to bed hungry the first day and then went out and bought microwavable breakfast foods to last the remainder of my stay.

The breakfast stopped serving at 9:00 am which is too early for my taste and there wasn’t enough scrambled eggs and meat served at one time and took a long time to replace so many people didn’t get any. I checked out early which started a chain of random charges, inaccurate billing and lack of communication. Total chaos. A week later I still don’t know what I paid and what credit I have. Charges were added to my credit card without my knowledge. Supposed emails were never received until I chased to manager for them. I have 2 checkout folios which ate totally different. One from the checkout desk and one from an email a week later. Total Incompetence. Never again!
