American Inn & Suites Metro Airport

I was looking for Knights Inn shuttle. I called and was told American INN shuttle. Driver (lady) was not nice. I asked about the shuttle time for the morning. She said shuttle runs every hour. I tipped her anyways. At check in window I was given a FOB and pointed towards the elevator. Not much to talk about I guess since I did everything on my phone already. It was me and my daughter stuck in town for the night because we didn't have a connect flight. I chose something quick, cheap, and with a shuttle because we were only staying a couple hours. I didnt expect the place to be great! I came back down for some water and all they had was a vending machine, cash only. ATM conveniently next to it had the cash! I took out $20 bill ($4.10 fee) but needed change. Lady had the singles ready (money maker)! In the morning I got to the front desk by 6AM and there was only a "be right back" sign in window. I patiently waited but wondered what was going on since nobody was around. 6:20AM the driver (guy) came in. He was the desk clerk/driver? I asked about shuttle and he said he just got back, that he left exactly at 6AM! He asked if I told someone I was in need of shuttle at 6AM. The lady in the window never brought up. I planned to show up at 6AM and just wait! After 20 minutes 2 more people came down so the guy put up his sign and we left! About 6:40 we left! I still tipped him also but they all need to be more hospitable! My daughter told me she noticed the way they were also.

Water was leaking from the ceiling every time it rained the carpet in the hallway was soaking wet with a small blower on the floor washer n dryer is broke bathroom sink was clogged breakfast sucked the woman in the office were all rude disrespectful and unhelpful always outside smoking cigarettes alday or lounging around talking loud in the lobby area hotel needs a lot of immediate maintenance rooms are not as advertised don’t waste your money parking lot is messed up as well

When I first arrived and checked in the lady on the afternoon shift was very friendly and helpful I paid $25 for a early check in due to me having to work the room was decent I didn’t really have an opportunity to look around cause I was rushing to head back out later on when I got back I went to the restroom and noticed the toilet didn’t flush I had to fill the trash can up to make the toilet flush I tired washing my hands and the skin water wasn’t going down I had to take a cup and drain the water out into the toilet and use the tub the paint was badly chipped off the wall hanging down from the ceiling the room had a bad odor to it and there where no blankets on the beds when I went to the front desk no was available my wife & son went back twice after me and still no one was at the front desk available to help us we slept the first night without blankets and the bathroom sink being out of service my son and I went to breakfast at 6am there was nothing but 3 oatmeal packets and a slice of bread and muffins available to eat the cereal was stale as well and there was no milk we went to the front desk to see if some was available and the heavier set woman was very rude and not very hey tired telling her about the blankets and the sink and she just blew me off hours later when i got ready to leave there was to thin sheet on the floor outside my door day 3 all the power blew in my hotel room and I got moved to a room with no fridge no chair tv remote or light in the room
