I booked for 2 nights mid-week. The king size bed was fantastic (high and soft) and the AC was great. Water pressure in the shower was lackluster but whatever. The issue came on the 2nd day when the only elevator broke and there was zero communication to anyone already checked in. I arrived back after a long day to find out I had to walk up 3 flights of stairs.

We didn’t stay there. We arrived late and the room was on the 2nd floor and my mother was not able to walk the stairs. There elevator was broke and it was not in use. So J had to fine a room elsewhere at 12:00am. It wasn’t good at the moment. We were stranded with no were to rest after a long travel.

This is by far one of the worst properties Ive stayed at! First, room was dirty and nasty, things were broke in the room! Tv did not work, no phone i. The room, had to call bookings just to get to front desk! Breakfast was terrible! Not a buffet as stated! Sausage that was not fully cooked, eggs, stale bagels, and waffles, or cereal were the options! Liquor bottles, and blunt packages in parking lot of property! Gym was closed, and wires hanging down all over front of property. I spoke with the “manager” on duty and was told the owner would be calling me but that has not happened! Will NEVER stay here again!

It appears to be in an unsafe area of town. The parking lot was dirty and in terrible shape. Hallways, stairwells, and lobby were dirty. Hallways smelled. The room was clean except the shower. You can tell the property was updated over the last few years, however it’s not been maintained well. Also, there’s a surprise $150 deposit due upon checkin. I wasn’t too thrilled with that. Typically, the higher the deposit, the more sketchy guests they have. Never again.

Hotel seems to be in process of renovation. We traveled with a service dog for my military veteran spouse which they put us in a "dog" room...the room was clearly torn up by previous dogs & beds were so high they were difficult to get into. We were also charged a pet fee despite having credentialed paperwork to prove the dog is medically required & trained for my spouse. The area was a bit sketchy as there was a gentleman in the lobby looking for "sleeping pills" who then wandered outside in the parking lot until an uber picked him up. The beds were extremely comfortable!

Windows very dirty everywhere... you can't even see through them. I was on the 3rd floor and the carpet had waves in it... very bad property.

To start off, elevator was broken. We were assigned on third floor, so you can imagine as a tourist how exhausting it was to carry the baggage. When we got the room and inspected, it was dirty. The shower was filthy and full of hairs. We went downstairs to inform the staff, and they moved us to an "upgraded" room. It was worse. There was a lot of trash under the couch, the restroom was worse. It was not clean. The toilet seat was black,mirror was dirty. Unfortunately, it was that dirty we showered in crocs. The bed sheets were all stained. Bad enough for us, that all prices at that point had gone up drastically, so we had no choice, but to stay. If you are even thinking about La Quinta, please do not go there. Standars are extremely poor, and unfortunately, the facility is very ran down. Roofs looked like they were going to collapse on you. Despite the painting over the mold, you could literally still see it. Bad experience in general.

The hotel definitely needs updating and a deep clean. The room was dirty, dusty, patched curtains, and several other issues. The AC unit wouldn’t cool below 74 which made it warm to sleep. You could tell it hadn’t been vacuumed in awhile. The carpet on the floor hallway was coming up, tripping happened constantly, and it was dirty. I wouldn’t let my child walk around without shoes on, even in the room. There was a damp smell to the entire hotel. Overall I was disappointed as the photos showed a beautiful and clean La Quinta and it definitely failed to live up to even basic standards.

We stayed last minute for the Halsey concert 6/18. The location is good, it’s easy to find and parking was easy to navigate. I’m a travel agent, so I travel often. La Quinta’s are usually my go-to lower budget hotel for the cleanliness standards alone. I cannot tell you how filthy this hotel was. The lobby is fine, but once you got into the elevator all illusions shattered. There was small pieces of… trash? I think? Tracked through the hallway. My room had some sort of brown liquid dripping down the wall (I have pictures of this). The bed and sheets were clean and bug free so we stayed and didn’t make a fuss because that’s all we needed anyway. The next day we go to get breakfast - except the guy checking us in didn’t tell us when it ended, simply that it was available “in the morning”. At 10:30 when we went to go eat, the front desk agent acted like we had committed a cardinal sin for simply walking towards the breakfast area. So, I will not be returning. I will find other places in STL to stay from now on.

Do not stay here. Property is falling apart. Neighborhood is sketchy. There's a failed empty fast food restaurant next door and empty liquor bottles in the hotel parking lot. I've never stayed at a dirtier hotel. From the dining area to the carpet in the hallway this hotel is so dirty. Laundry room was filthy. I couldn't even bring myself to shower here. Never again.

We only stayed one night during a cross country move so we weren’t exactly looking for luxury. We checked in really late and the gentleman at the counter was fine. The property is in rough shape. Peeling paint, gross carpet. A piece of paper was taped over the 3rd floor elevator button with a note not to push. Beds were great though. Our floor stank like weed. But the bed was clean and comfy and honestly on this trip it’s all we cared about lol.

The room was ok for a 1 night stay. I wouldn't want to stay any longer. The electrical wall plugs did not work. The bathroon shower had pink mold around the edges and behind the bathroom door looked like it hadn't been swept in months. Not bad if you're desperate for somewhere to lay your head but not somewhere I would stay there again. The property was not lit up the backside of the building had multiple widows either boarded up or broken.The room felt damp and ac was not working properly. The staff was helpful. However, the first room we were given, the air conditioner was broken. We did get moved to another room after the front desk sent a man to look at the unit and couldn’t fix it (instead of being moved right away). The second room had a newer, working a/c but it was a very noisy unit. The sink was also very slow to drain and seemed clogged. Overall it seemed like an older, declining property.

Hotel was ok. Our room was next to a room that was condemned...not sure what the issue was there. Our shower took 20mins to get hot water and then it was only a trickle. When you sat on the end if the bed it sounded like a gun shot. The pull across blinds looked like theyd been shredded with a knife, there were holes all threw them. Hotel was quiet for the most part and breakfast was typical.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The property is convenient and accessible. 20-30 minutes to shopping, and attractions. When I opened the fridge in my room and found left over food and drink, front desk offered to send someone to clean up, which wasn’t necessary, the only thing I wasn’t expecting was the $150.00 deposit, the most I was charged at other properties was between $50.00-$100.00, but I did receive the money back four days later.

The ladies that worked during the day were the ABSOLUTE SWEETEST!!! After a 6 hour drive and to walk in a place and they have smiles waiting for you is the greatest feeling!! So so sweet and I hope everyone feels as welcoming as we did when we walked in. Thank you ladies again for just being so sweet and generous and caring!!

This hotel is definitely at 0/5 stars. Dirty covers. Power went out so we had no promised breakfast. They scammed me out of $150 & told me i would receive the damage deposit fee back after i left my hotel which i didnt. They do NOT have updated numbers so you could contact them if anything went wrong which is why im in the predicament im in now. Save your money it’s really not worth. Poor customer service as well.

Nice staff. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. Stayed 4 days no housekeeper came to clean the room during my stay. I had to go to desk for towels and tissues. There was a lack of both in the room. Door had huge gap you could see inside the room and security latch was removed.

We showed up at check in only to be told the system was down. We waited. I get it. It cant be helped. But then after 20 mins when it was up, we were told to "step to the side" because they needed to change our room. They checked in THE WHOLE LOBBY before getting to us, no less than 5 parties. They had forgotten they told us to step aside. I had to get changed and put my makeup on in the lobby bathroom. We missed reservations for dinner. I've worked customer service, and I tried to hold in my frustration, but an hour to check into a hotel is competely unacceptable.

There was no breakfast. The gym under maintenance problems. The sleepig arrangements that were supposed to be taken care of ahead of time,never got resolved to my satisfaction The whole place stunk. I had to pay$150 deposit before checking in That wasn't agreed on prior to arrival . I would have paid double to stay in a well run hotel. I'm not sure about ever using Expedia again. I definitely will never stay in a Laquinta again. In the top 3 worst hotel stays in my life.I am 61 years old. I a truck driver. I have traveled all around North America. The customer service was great when I checked in and checked out! Friendly and accommodating! The water pressure with the sink was just right and the shower water pressure was slightly low but fine. The room was really clean the beds are comfortable and the air conditioner worked really good. The breakfast was full filling. The staff that worked the breakfast was very friendly! The two bed room is a reasonable price. I do recommend to stay here.

Did not have a qood experience. There was alot of hair in the drain in the bathtub , there was no stopper so i couldnt give my children a bath. There was no hot breakfast because they are renovating which you would not know until you get there and cannot cancel without losing money.
