I was in town for a civil war reenactment in charming Brownville, NB. The place has been updated - nice carpet and great rooms. However, there are some "things" that need attention. There was no trash pickup during my 2 nite stay, so by Sun am, there was a smelly mess in the hallway; everyone put their trash in the hall. A clerk from the front desk came thru with a load of towels but left the trash cans in the halls. Breakfast was depressing - old fruit, no hot water or tea, spoons so small it was hard to eat the cereal. For rooms that were over $110 a night, I expected much more. It was convenient to my event so I will return, but will bring more supplies.

Though this is an older motel, it was clean, quiet, and the Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a good spread. and the waffles were great! Bed was clean and comfortable

This motel is the cleanest motel I've seen. I've traveled the country from the west coast to the midwest, as well as from Texas to Wisconsin. The staff is impeccable about everything! They're dressed nicely. They're very personable. The owner of this establishment should be very proud! Your staff is excellent. The breakfast is great. So clean! I'm so impressed.

Perfect place for our family to rest up after a full day of traveling. The hotel & room were very clean & safe (no funny hotel smells or anything). Staff was friendly. Even breakfast was good & convenient. We will definitely remember this hotel for our future travels.

Stayed here unexpectedly after a very long day, in which we drove embarrassingly far out of the way following an improper address in our Nav. I arrived in a horrible mood, feeling just totally done. Amber at the front desk was friendly, empathetic and went out of her way to completely turn things around for our family. Wish every hotel had front desk reception as caring and competent as Amber!! Room and overall lodging was very clean!! Totally recommend, whether you plan on staying or not!

We were happy with our 2-night stay at Wyndham Super 8 in Port Rock. It was a convenient stop for our road trip. The beds were very comfortable, and the staff was kind and helpful — especially when they let us check out later after a sleepless night. Breakfast was included (simple but appreciated). The only issue was a missing bathtub stopper; we were offered another room but chose to stay. Overall, a good experience and great value for the price.

Room appeared clean but there was electrical issues, Refrigerator had no power and water was running from it, we tried to change the outlet it was plugged in to, because the power strip behind cabinet seemed to be dead…but we needed the plug in for the tv…TV wasn’t plugged in at all originally and We finally discovered that after trying and trying to get it to work! There is a phone in room which I attempted to use to call down to front desk and the phone was dead, too! Front desk lady was pleasant enough, but only offered to put in a maintenance request, which really didn’t help us out for our one night stay. Wish she would have offered a discount on the room!

This was a decent place to stay; nothing terrible, nothing great. The staff was helpful when we needed an extra bed. There were signs of age and some areas that needed more upkeep, but it was quiet, comfortable, and just fine for a one night stay on the way home.

Would have liked more options for Breakfast. The front desk lady was very friendly, efficient & helpful. The beds were wonderful! Would come back!

People slamming doors all night

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The outside could use some updates, not many food options around, and the only other thing is the door from the inside at the top of the stairs could use a stopper so it doesnt slam shut, especially at night or early mornings. My husband left the door open when showering and the steam made the fire alarm go off in the room- it beeped a few times and my husband figured out it was the steam from the shower, maybe not put those so close to the shower. I really dont have any complaints so to speak and would stay again of needed.

Overall, the stay was good. We had trouble checking in, as apparently there was something wrong with the computer system and the manager needed to be called in. But after that it was good. My spouse did not like the bed (too soft, and we rolled to the middle). The property was nice, and we appreciated the breakfast the next morning.

Way too noisy, bathroom doors lock but are very flimsy and barely hold-can be easily opened by pushing on them

Staff are so nice and helpful

The hotel did not have our Expedia reservation and stated that they "have been having trouble with Expedia the last couple of weeks." They tried to go ahead and provide a room, but had not reserved the Standard King we had asked for, so we got in touch with Expedia and reserved a new room down the road.

Staff were unbelievable...so so helpful and attentive. Very friendly. Hands down I will stay here again.

For a Super 8 property, the property was one of the nicest I have ever seen and because they are typically lower end facilities I rarely ever stay at a Super 8 anymore. The property was located just ten minutes from the job and was right on the travel route. The reservation i had was incorrect so i called the hotel to add one daybon the front end, 9/18 and extend it by five days to 10/23. When i arrived, i was told i had to authorize the entire reservation in advance which i could not do so the staff made six reservations one week at a time. Which was satisfactory. At the end of the first week, the called me on the job and told me i had to leave. That the room was reserved for an incomming guest and that i had to leave. I explained that i had a reservation for the next thirty days but they insisted i did not and that i had to leave. They wanted me to leave work and remove myself from the property. Finally, Simone say that I was the incoming guest and apoligized. The next week they raised my rate and repeated the same fiasco. I was able to get them to honor the initial rate but the following week, when i went to pay my bill, i asked for a copy of my folio. the desk clerk was abusive, yelling at me that she could not do that and for me to simply swipe my card. Her co-worker was shocked, as the clerk dropped "F-bombs" and said she quit and stormed out. The "F-bomb clerk" called the manager lying about the incident and the clerk observing the incident apoligized and began a

Experienced car trouble and stayed for one night while vehicle was fixed. Kind of loud. Screen in window was majorly bent. Smelled good tho. Staff very friendly. Gas stations, Subway, and McDonald’s very close by.

Very nice staff, right on the highway. Some construction nearby and it is your typical super 8.

Front desk was great. Room was clean. Girl at desk recommended The Dusty Trail cafe and Steakhouse. Was very good. This motel is a great stop place. Just off I 29 at Rock Port, Mo. will stop again.

The room was clean. Limited towels. It is a clean place to stay. Second night had to get new key! I paid in advance for two nights. Subway next door is ok. The Chesters next door sucked. The Chester chicken was dry. Chester’s staff does not care. First night they told me they got slammed. By 5:30 no chicken. Did not make more or offer. Second night said no Mac and cheese to offer as the guy brought it out. Food service staff is unmotivated. The hotel staff was motivated to help if needed.

We really liked this stay here. Lovely friendly staff willing to offer advice on things to do and see. Very welcoming. Room was clean tidy, spacious, loved all the extra little touches. Great value for money property. Very easy access.
