Old facility that may be trying to keep up but isn't. Check-in was fairly quick (since it was prepaid); required a $30 cash deposit but couldn't explain for what. The deposit was returned when checking out but had to ask for it specifically. I wonder how many are forgotten by others. Bathroom door was reversed with no latch or lock. Bathroom light/fan switch is now behind door when opened. Room floor had not been swept and had dirt/dust on it. A/C worked very well. Beds were acceptably comfortable. Washer, dryer & ice machine are located on the outside stairs to the 2nd floor. Overall, we were looking for a place to spend the night and it accomplished that simple goal.

Floors were filthy . Towels stained yellow. Sheets worn thin. Found hairs in bedding. Loud vehicles in and out all night. Checked out at 7:40 coffee was cold from the night before, said thy would make fresh if I wanted to wait. Only attractive thing about this place is the price and location.

Took 3 times to get door key to work, even after getting key card reprogrammed. Room was dirty, there were old dirty wash rags still in the shower. Table was sticky. Floor was dirty.

The room had a bad odor. Looked old and like they need to replace many things. The safety of electric outlets need to be updated. The people above us walked around all night so we couldn't get sleep. So we decided to leave early to get to a much better hotel.

Relatively clean, quiet. Old hotel and the building had issues. The beds aren't very comfortable, but without many options in the area, it worked for a short trip night stay. If my wife was with me, we wouldn't have stayed. LOL

Stayed in a room with king bed and what was described as a hot tub. Room was clean and serviceable, but no soap was provided at the sink. We needed more toilet paper - went to front desk and got TP and soap. Hot tub turned out to be a standard tub with jets. The tub leaked a good bit and the water was brown, like when you rinse out a coffee pot. Water in the toilet was also brown. If the water authority can't deliver clear water, perhaps Magnolia Inn should consider installing their own water filter(s).

The people above us have stomped back and forth all night long I have never stayed in any hotel that was this loud all night!! It is currently 4am and they are still making so much noise it sounds like they are moving furniture all night. They must be on drugs!!! I have stayed in many hotels and this has been the absolute worse experience ever. I will never stay here ever again!!

The entirety of the stay was great. My only concern was the brown rusty type water that came from the tap (in the sink and tub). When I arrived, the tv wasn’t really a was watchable due to interference. They were notified and replaced it the next day at my request. Overall; great stay. I’ll be coming back next year at this time for another stay.

The TV didn't work. The beds were broken and very noisy. The hand towels had someones hair in them. The shower wall was extremely scummy and it also has little hairs on the wall. Also, the floor wasnt swept. The main issues that we had was the overall unclean room. The deposit they took when i arrived was in case the maids thought you left your room too messy. That's what the sign in the lobby says.

The onsite $30 cash deposit didn’t make sense but I went along with it and spoke volumes about what I’d find in my room. German cockroach on the floor. Room was musty from the turning the AC on and off with humid climate of the area. In a pinch I’d stay again if I really really really needed a place to sleep and no others were available. Just a really old and tired motel.

The staff was rude to me the whole time I was there. Went to take care of it remote they rolled there eyes to me cuz i was bothering them. Wont stay again. I have never been treated like this before. It wasnt worth the money. I want a refund i refuse to be treated like this.
