The pictures are very deceiving of the outside. Online the outside pictures of the front of the hotel looks amazing but, when you get passed the front desk you realize the hotel is very old and run down. The back the hotel is were i parked and it was full of garbage and old furniture. The actual hotel room was decent but, had some issues. The bathroom shower head was held on the shower by a nylon. There was mold on the ceiling and the toilet seat was barely on the toilet. The pool was ice cold at best. The hot tub was not operating and sign said closed for cleaning. The outside pool had a cover over it and not even. With 90 plus heat outside and pool would have been nice. The manager never said anything about the hot tub or pool issues when we checked in. Will not return here in the future.

The pool wasn't open,no food for breakfast,the exterior of the property wasn't taken care of grass and plants are over grow same with interior plants,no one at the front desk when a problem arose,our key quite working at 10:30 check wasn't til 11 had to track down the desk clerk. Would NEVER EVER STAY AT THIS LOCATION AGAIN OR RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE.THE OWNER SHOULD BE EMBARRASSED !!!

It advertises a bar and hot tub. Neither were available. Shower water pressure was not good and the temperature was luke warm at best. Bed was comfortable and there’s free parking. Overall, it was fine for a college football weekend.

The hotel is undergoing much needed renovations. Only one elevator works. The hot tub is not in service. The pool is fine though. This is can be a great place to stay. The layout of the hotel is fabulous with the pool and hot tub in the middle of the atrium with all the rooms surrounding it. At the moment, this place is too pricey for the value

This hotel has a nice design and was probably lovely when it was first built, but it could use some remodeling at this point. Things felt pretty dingy and dirty in the rooms and hallways. One elevator and the hot tub were out of service, and there was no ice available on our 3rd floor hallway. The beds were comfortable, however, and the pool was nice. The service was friendly and the location was very convenient for us. It was nice to be across the street from Walmart.

This property was under construction, which is not a favorable condition. The jacuzzi was not operational, at least one elevator was not usable, and one overnight - water came out of an air vent, flooding the bathroom floor. I spoke with and had dealings with management, and she presented herself and the staff positively. I will stay there again - but I look forward to the construction being completed.

hotel under remodel so no water in hottub. outside pool closed. indoor pool had water but not sure if swim was available, but too busy to utilize it anyway. bathtub in room 148 could use some good scrubbing to get black stains out. Water pressure was good. room service excellent as daily by time back to room beds were made.

Hotel was absolutely filthy. Crumbs on the carpet and in the corners, shaved hairs on the bathroom floor, foul toilet bowl, mildew on the shower curtain. The only reason this isn't a 1 star is because the staff was friendly. The carpet in the hallways looks like it hadn't been vacuumed since it was installed and there were all sorts of stains, smudges, and smears both on the floor and the wall. The elevator was muddy and had gunk on the walls as well. I would not be surprised if an establishment like this didn't wash the sheets between guests.

We stayed December 14th and 15th. The wallpaper in our room was peeling off, the phone in the room did not work ( no cords attached) the lights kept flickering, ants in the bathroom, hot tub was shut down. When we complained we were given 3 bottles of water and fruit snacks. Would not recommend this hotel at all. Very disappointed.

We stayed here for our child’s graduation and were completely disappointed. We had two rooms, both in terrible condition—old, dirty, and not worth the $500 per night they charged. Carpets were stained, wallpaper peeling, furniture worn out, and the bathrooms were grimy and unusable. The air conditioning barely worked and blew a moldy, musty smell. Dust covered the vents and corners—clearly no proper cleaning has been done in a long time. This hotel may not claim to be luxury, but for that price it should at least be decent and comfortable. Instead, it felt like a ripoff. West Lafayette deserves better than this for visiting families. Would not stay again or recommend.

This place was filthy. They need to buy a vacuum that can reach the baseboards in all the hallways. The bed and pillows were good, but that was it. An old curtain was sitting in our closet. There were marks on the walls, doors in the room, and the bathroom. There was a layer of dust on the baseboards and the closet rod. The place was completely outdated, which I would have been okay with if they kept it clean. They said they were renovating, but we saw no sign of this. And, of course, the price was ridiculous because it was Purdue Parents' weekend.

This is such a rundown property. I had no idea hotels like that exist in US. Horrible condition. We had clean bedding though. The hotel was empty but we did not get any privacy. We were placed right next to another family. We heard every single word. The walls are paper thin. Unbelievable. Why is it so difficult to place people not on top of each other in the literally empty facility? We did not eat their breakfast. I do not recommend to stay there. Only as a last resort. It is really expensive for such room and board.

Stayed for a Mom’s weekend. Room was well kept and clean. A few quirks in the new hallway: no trashcan in the bathroom, had to call front desk for a hairdryer. Staff was lovely. Location very convenient to the University.

They quadrupled the price from $100 a night to $384 because it’s near Purdue, and it was parents’ weekend. For that, we got a dank, dark room with an air conditioner that was so loud, because it was so old, that it actually woke us up every time it went on. Couldn’t leave it on though as it would go off anyway. And for the kicker, the room was infested with fruit flies, clock didn’t work, nor did some of the lights.

The bed was comfortable. And the room was standard. I slept well. A bus of people was staying the night I stayed. The receptionist placed me immediately next to one of the tour group rooms which was quite noisy, even after midnight. Bathroom was not the cleanest and the elevators needed to be swept. Minimal offerings for breakfast.

Jack on was great. Room is nice and bed is very comfortable. However, I was not able to watch tv because one of the channels would turn on - only the guide. Called front desk and no one picked up. Very frustrating.

This hotel has a lot of potential, but it’s really rundown. The carpet is worn, doors and paint are bad, jacuzzi is not working., It needs a big cosmetic upgrade. Still, the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. The bathroom towels had much to be desired.

We loved the staff, Marie and Monier, and how they accomodated us with 2 king suite rooms since our double bed room was under construction plus very friendly with casual conversation. Perfect location to Purdue U 'Boiler up Hammer down' for graduation plus hotel is across the street from Wal-Mart. Top floor under construction to upgrade the 80's look. We will certainly stay here again.

The hotel was clearly a work in progress, and the breakfast was just ok. But the staff were nice and super helpful when we asked to switch rooms because the first smelled like smoke (the new room was great). The hotel is very convenient to Purdue.

Staff was extremely nice. However had to request new sheets for room because the ones on bed were stained. Trash left on floor under ac. Strangers walked into room while sleeping had to get new cards because they tried to book room to someone else. Not very professional at all.

If 0 star was possible they would have got that. I booked a 4 day stay at this hotel. I have my severely autistic son with me who is in a wheel chair because a broken leg. My son got over stimulated and was crying during the daytime hours and the lady at the front desk came and told my dad he had 15 mins to leave with my son. She didn’t give him a warning or ask what was going on and when my dad tried to explain the situation and was trying to calm him down the front desk told him she don’t care and to leave. She didn’t change her tone until she talked to me then preceded to try and talk over me. They discriminated against a disabled child. An complaint with the attorney general has been filed

You pay what you get. Attended Purdue graduation and couldn't find anywhere available. Didn't want to stay far away from the campus. The hotel was the only choice. The room wasn't as clean as expected and was outdated which is expected. The location is great and only less than 10 minutes to the campus. The price during the graduation days was very high.

THis is a clean hotel with an atrium that is well-run and has the advantage of nice hiking trails around a lake just across the street. They do ask for $25 for incidentals that should be posted on the Expedia website (unless I missed it), adding a substantial 20% to the room price.

this is a great location to visit with my son at Purdue university. It is also very close to a Walmart,and restaurants. They do have new management and are getting better on the amenities,appearance and cleanliness.

We have stayed some days in the hotel.The environment around is quite good near the natural forest and celery bog so we can walk and run in the forest trail. We like our stay here. the hotel amenities are good though seems little outdated.the room rate is also reasonable for our stady.there's also shuttle to Chicago airport which is quite convenient.

I would say that wasn't much of a breakfast. The syrup dispenser was broken and there were only 2 options for cereal. Apple juice was sour and the orange juice was watered down. There wasn't toast, bagels or english muffins.

This place was an absolute DUMP! I could not believe how disgustingly dirty and run down this place was! I chose this place for the amenities and those were a joke! Pool was closed my entire stay , they advertise breakfast and all that was offered was yogurt and sliced bread. They had a waffle maker but there was never any batter. Other patrons were complaining as well. Wish there was a spot to post the pics i took of how dirty the place was. I would NEVER stay here again

The garbage was over full for all three days outside the elevator on the 3rd floor. The tile was super grimy in the common areas, and the “breakfast” was stale, covered w flies and disgusting. There even is a Walmart right across the street to have fresh milk for cereal and muffins, and bagels. It is clear the “owners” don’t have any hospitality training and while there are “pardon our dust” signs indicating updates - it’s very clear it is not an ongoing project. It services for cheap accommodations but taking pride in their establishment could go along way.
