The entire hotel is under renovation. They had tape up in the lobby that you had to walk around. Breakfast room is moved and make shift.

My car was towed and was told it was because I didn’t have a parking pass that was never ever issued or looked for one guy was standing in front of the hotel while they towed his I have reached out to my lawyer who will be asking that I get my money back or we will seek to take you to court for predatory vehicle towing as per my Lawyer!

The parking area has excellent lighting. Carts are available at the entrance. Check-in was quick and easy. The front desk attendant handled our check-in efficiently and gave us info about the area and breakfast. The room is clean and updated. The WiFi is fast even if you have multiple devices connected. The area has a wide variety of places to eat and shop in less than an 5 mile radius. Our overall experience was good, we didn’t have any complaints or issues during our stay.

Customer Service was great! Kitchen Ladies deserve to be recognized since they were very busy with a full house and they were always happy and helpful! Besides that I was disappointed with my stay, giving the amount I paid for 2 days. To start off with, side door did not work with key and 1 elevator, and ice machines did not work. Super inconvenient. My room had 2 towels of each size for 2 adults. I have never stayed at a hotel where I had to ask for towels on arrival and then have to go pick them up myself since I did not want housekeeping service during my stay. I probably will never stay at this hotel ever, not on purpose anyways.

I brought my son up for orientation. Was going to lay out at the pool while he did his thing. Upset to know the pool was closed. Justin went above and beyond to make it right. NEVER have I had the customer service I received at that hotel. They went above and beyond to make it right. This will be my 1st choice to stay while my son is at college. Very clean and the staff was extremely helpful.

Overall we had a great stay. Only criticism was there was no A/C in fitness room and treadmill seems unbalanced

Property and room were nicely renovated with MSU touches. Loved the set up of the queen suite with an extra sink, counter, and coffee area. Was happy to see a popcorn machine at check in, but there was never any popcorn. Pool was green and dirty. No towels were available. I had to ask at the front desk. They were brought out about 15 minutes later. Went to breakfast at 8:45, 45 min before it ended. No hot water out (had to ask for it), pancake machine not working, and no cinnamon rolls. Printer in business center didn’t work, but front desk did print for me. Hallways needed vacuuming. A nice property but more attention to detail needed.

The hotel seems a bit run down and the pool was off limits, but it was in a great location and the staff was friendly and helpful!

The staff is very helpful and friendly. My complaints lie in cleanliness- the floors in the lobby and elevators were disgusting. My room was clean- but when housekeeping came in they left all the discarded coffee cups and accoutrements all over the counter, garbage cans full:/

Overall stay was good. Nice updates to rooms. There needs to be additional attention given to cleaning details. We checked in around 9 pm. The elevator floor appeared to have a sticky spill of some sort on the floor. When we left in the morning- it was still there. The bathroom had nice features. But, the doorframe inside the door had not been fully painted. It looked like they just forgot to finish. There was a tile under the sink that appeared to be oddly set and the results were that it was very dirty- almost like when they mop the dirty water settles on it and no one takes the time to actually clean dirty water off. Breakfast had a good variety and tasted good. Staff was nice. Overall it was a fine stay for a quick visit, but it could be better with a little better attention to detail.

The room had roaches and flies. We had to move to a new room. When you kill one and another is coming. That was very inconvenient to move to another room.

We have stayed here twice this past year and while it is convenient, the smell of the rooms and the cleanliness just isn't up to par. Both our rooms has brown stains on the chair and carpet. Honestly it looked like feces. The hallway on the 3rd floor smelled like mold and vomit. Both our rooms on the 3rd and 4th floor were also must and the smell of mold/ bleach gave me a headache. The wifi was so slow that I could not use it for work commitments I had to get done on my computer. I had to get a hotspot on my phone to use my computer. The TV's are hard to work as there are 2 remotes but only one works rot turn on TYV and to work volume. The other one does the Guide and channel choices. Both remotes and the phone were so dirty we left to get Clorox wipes to wipe everything down. Unfortunately we will goes elsewhere next time. The star was very nice, helpful and accommodating, just the hotel needs an overhaul, like ripping up the carpets and cleaning rooms better.

The bathroom was disgusting. Hair in the tub. Hair all over the floor in the bathroom. The bathroom floor hasn’t been mopped or swept. I’m glad I carry bleach wipes and lysol ir I wouldn’t have stayed. But I definitely won’t be going back!!!!

I had bed bug bites within hours of arriving, and after four days I had them all over my torso and upper body.

My room had mold. Ac was leaking mold on the vents. The bathroom had mold in the ceiling over the shower and on the wall. I asked to get another room. Staff was super nice. The other two rooms also had mold on the ac. This location needs to be remodeled to get rid of all the mold. Will not be back.

Really nice clean rooms, very quiet. Easy access from Hwy 12. Very good breakfast bar.

we were placed by thr laundry it was loud and they banged into our door and wall regularly..

Our air did not work. Tech came twice and was unable to resolve issue. He did try and was nice. It appeared new staff were all working Friday night checkin and was visible overwhelmed and checkin in process took over 15 minutes with issues still not resolved. Then Asked for towels and linens on our way out to dinner after waiting 10 minutes for no desk clerk, she tossed item to me versus notifying us no one was in housekeeping or she would have ready when we returned. They say hotel was full so we just had to sleep in uncomfortable room. We did remind at checkout of issue so maybe next guest would not have issue

Super great experience all around and super soft beds

Liked the second room that we were finally given. Disliked the first room. Air conditioning wasn't working properly and was an old central HVAC system. It was a carrier c/h and air unit that a maintenance man had to reset. The batteries had to be changed out of the thermastat and the remote control for the TV. I booked and prepaid for a double-queen unit and was placed in a King with foldout couch. We had to go get sheets at the front desk (no set in the room). Finally, after maintenance man came and I asked for the third or fourth time to be moved, they finally gave us another room which was exactly what I asked for when I booked the room (and prepaid) 2 weeks earlier.

My wife and I were upset that our TV did not work as indicated. No HD, why? We feel we should get a refund or partial. If we had known TV would not work we would have stay somewhere else.

Check in was quick and room is spacious and clean.

Hotel was very nice and all of the staff were wonderful. My only complaint was the room just wouldn’t cool off. The air was running but the room was still warm.

I would say it was a very good stay overall. The property is nice and so were the people. But the shower had very little water pressure and the television didn't work. I reported both things upon checkout, so hopefully it'll get fixed. Everything else was good.

Great new property- room size is awesome. AC did not work great to alleviate humidity. Lobby and general areas were dirty.

Staff was amazing friendly and helpful. Room were niceeeee beds so comfortable, pool water nice and not too cold. We will be back

Arrived 3:35pm on Friday, Checked in, went to room and dropped off luggage and left for fireworks, I realized after leaving the hotel that there was no saga in the room I called hotel from fireworks event and spoke with Yolonda and explained the situation she called me back and explained I should of told her at check-in so I thought my bad my mistake..came back at to hotel 11pm and went to room, It didn’t sit well with me as there were 5 of us in the room and it only had 2 Queen beds… I went to front desk and spoke to Mitchell first he was so understanding and took 100% accountability and told me it was the front desks fault and not mine which I appreciated so much. he offered me a partial refund or an extra room comped So I took the extra room which I could get the next day, so next day checked in to the second room and who ever was in it before us wet the bed so we couldn’t stay there… so got a 3rd room from Yolonda this was not a great situation at all and only thanks to Mitchell and Yolonda it was sorted with a lot of moving about, so I’m telling everyone to make sure your room is correct when you arrive at front desk

Great staff on all shifts!

This is a really nice hotel, however I don’t really think they were prepared for a sell out with all the baseball teams that were coming in. They were short handed, there was only one guy, Mick who was trying to check everyone in and the line was long! He went over and above to make everyone feel welcomed. Our door to our room would not securely lock from the outside. We went to our game and maintenance never showed up during the 4 hours we were gone to baseball games. When we returned he had to call in another coworker to help him because housecleaning had left without cleaning one of the rooms. He went up and was cleaning the room himself! Talk about commitment! They couldn’t fix our door last night, but we were ok because it did secure from the inside. We just put our bags in a family members room when we were at the games. He did also discount our room for the night. The housecleaning staff or the plumbers that had replaced some pipes under the sink never emptied the old pipe under the sink, and the drain in the bathtub was off the drain, so you couldn’t fill up the tub. The breakfast was good, but the poor woman trying to keep up with all the families eating was causing the food to run out. The hotel was full of 15-17 year old ball players, so you know those boys were hungry before leaving for the ball fields. The manager stepped in and helped clean tables and refresh the coffee and made sure everyone had what they needed. They would get 5 stars if they just had help!

The rooms were in excellent condition however the hospitality upon arrival could have been better. I don't if the young lady was having a bad day or not but she wasn't pleasant. We were in town for a somber occasion and a little Southern hospitality could have really helped to brighten the mood. The night auditor as well as the housekeeping staff gave the comfort that we needed. I will visit this hotel again because I understand that we are all human and I believe in second chances.

Had to wait at un-attended desk for check in 15mn. Finally called number at desk to get someone to come down. Attendant gave gentleman in front of me an upgrade. Did not give me upgrade and I am also an IHG member. Said "Ice machine" located on floor, but no machine. Had to go to another floor.

Loved that was close to the Mississippi Horse Park where my daughter was competing and to several restaurants. Our only concern was the fact that the area surrounding the hotel seemed a little sketchy, with construction and such, but for one night it was fine. We were on the top floor and had no concerns with our safety.

Convenient to campus

A quick weekend to visit the college kid at MSU. The location is central to everything and a very comfortable sleep.

Close to downtown.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Housekeeping only did the bare minimum but I’m happy with getting clean towels when that was really what I needed so it wasn’t a big deal. Very pleasant staff. Breakfast was the standard for most hotels. Easy and convenient. Close to everywhere we needed to be. The driveway entrance is a bit hidden and I missed it once and almost missed it several times. A sign out front would be nice.

I did not like parking or rather the lack of parking in front of building only 2 handicap spaces. Hard to find building itself because it’s behind other business so you have to enter between two building. Like parking in their backyard

I liked the ease of the location. Since it is in the middle of town it was easy to get everywhere.

Every staff member we encountered were all very friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Great location, close to many restaurants and a short drive to MSU campus. Will stay here again!

It was a nice stay. Everything was clean . Easy check in. Breakfast was ok would have liked to have had more fruit options. But overall a nice hotel in a good location.

Breakfast not good as expected

We came into town for a game At Mississippi State and the hotel is very conveniently located to the stadium and plenty of eating choices. The hotel is very clean, smells clean, AMAZING breakfast with everything you can think of. The morning attendant was so kind and helpful. You’ll be very pleased with our stay.

It was average at best, not up to standards for other Holiday Inn Express sites ive been too. Breakfast and coffee was cold and not good along with the pancake machine being out of order.
