Parking was fine but a little confusing. No air conditioning during colder months cause they have a boiler system so its either heat or cold. Room does have several fans. Staff was nice and helpful. Rate is good for how close it is to the downtown, easy walk to just about everything

Got in late but they were very nice and accommodating. Parking wasn’t great but we were able to find some. Rooms were cute but lighting wasn’t great.

The room is very outdated and I stayed here during a snow storm so the door to the outside leaked air so bad that with the heater set to 80 it was still chilly in the room... there were no towels in my room when I got there and then the guy who was cleaning the parking lot hit my car with the snow blower, left a smudge on the door and bumper when he could have just asked me to move my car a minute for him to clean the area.. carpet was dirty and I found sticky spot on end table, dirt and food in the corner next to the table... the place has that rustic look to it.. just wish they would update.. the giant holes in the jetted tub that doesn't work freaked me out a lot... bed was good though so if you are in a pinch and need a soft place to lay your head then this would work.

The place is a great location, reasonably priced, beds were comfy and clean. Really enjoyed the decor. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking is a bit tricky. Rooms are a bit small. We will stay here again when we visit Billings.

Very reasonable price and clean rooms. The 24-hour staff at the front desk is extremely helpful for potentially late arrivals, and they are always friendly and helpful. The room had a dark window shade to block outside light for easier sleeping, and they allow patrons to leave their vehicles parked in their lot for free instead of parking at the airport. No shuttle service to the airport, but the hotel is only a few minutes from the Billings, MT-Logan International Airport so a cab/Uber ride is more affordable than airport parking lot rates. Definitely worth staying here!

The room itself was impeccably clean and delightfully decorated with a western theme. Location is directly downtown in an area with great walking access to independent coffee shops, restaurants and shopping. The building itself could use some updating to carpet and common areas. There is no elevator for guests to access the second floor.

This”no frills” hotel is a favorite place to stay. It’s close to unique downtown businesses and restaurants. I walk to good restaurants and even tried drinks at a distillery. This hotel does not have an elevator so be sure to get a first floor if you have restrictions on walking. Very good $8 breakfast at the adjoining restaurant.

The towels were all dingy brownish and should have been white - I couldn’t tell if they were indeed clean. A dirty towel was left on the back of the bathroom door. The toilet seat had liquid on it (cleaning solution?). The carpet was tacky with cigarette burn marks and a wet spot on the floor by the left side of the bed. Pipes were exposed in the bedroom and filthy black. The mattress was very old and I could feel the springs. Staff was nice however I would not stay here again. Owners need to put some money into this establishment.

I like older motels that are clean and well taken care of. Unfortunately this is not one of them. I don’t go looking for issues unless they are so easy to find. The hardboard was covered in a very thick layer of dust. The room smelled so bad! Opening the window didn’t help. I checked in later, so I could have gotten the redhead stepchild room? Who knows, I won’t go back to find out.

They were friendly at check in. We went to our room and it was not clean. There was food in the fridge and freezer, toilet paper on the bathroom floor, mold on the curtains and the bed cover. This place really needs some attention. I didn't have high expectations for the price but in the very least clean is what I expected and did not get. I am very disappointed with this booking.

So to begin, I want to highlight everything good about this place. The building itself is very charming and cozy. The interior parking is very convenient. The onsite dining is great and the lobby felt very welcoming. The desk staff were very kind and helpful. The rooms are very cozy and have a historic and rustic feel to them which felt very nice. There is a lot of potential to this lodge. Now for the drawbacks. The room we stayed in could use some help. It needs a very deep cleaning and update. The mattresses were old and uncomfortable. There was something on the walls which looked gross. The cloth wall paper has got to go; not only is it unhygienic, it holds the moisture in the bathroom which does not have ventilation and they obviously aren’t being cleaned. The floor around the toilet needs fixed as it’s horribly cracked and lifted. Also, per building codes, any outlet in a bathroom has to be a GFCI outlet and it wasn’t. And although my sheets were clean, the decorative runner was definitely not as per the stains in the photos. I did choose to stay despite this, but I don’t think I will be back unless the owners overhaul their rooms and update them just a little. Cleanliness is crucial.

I didn’t realize this hotel was haunted until I got online and accidentally stumbled upon articles that talked about its history. The staff was nice and the $10 pet fee was a plus! They don’t charge a pre authorization which is also nice. The room was clean although there was pubic hair on the toilet seat and there were some burn marks in the carpet. The beds and pillows were clean and comfortable for the most part. The walls are thin and I was woken up a few times because of other guests being loud and doors slamming. I won’t stay here again but it honestly wasn’t bad for the price and the hospitality was good.

First off, you know what you're getting when you book here. It is a quaint, throwback hotel, adequately maintained. Staff were very friendly and helpful, including when my neighbor left his TV on all night and had to be called to ask him to turn it off (the walls are thin, it wasn't *that* loud). Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would choose to stay here again.

Walls and overall room are not very sound proof. People above us stomping around and loud at 4am. People walking outside our room at 4am very loud. Someone knocked on our door at 11pm, but were not there when we got up to look. Bed was very uncomfortable and noisy when moving around- felt like cardboard under us and almost bounced you out of the bed when turning over. Mostly clean room, needed vacuumed better. Clean linens and bedding. Pillows were fairly comfortable. Parking close to your room is a nightmare- not enough space. I feel $100 a night is too much to ask for such an old establishment without a decent bed. I can look past other things, since noise is not the hotel's fault, but not being able to sleep and waking up stiff because the bed is bad, is not acceptable for the amount. Id rather pay $50 more to stay at an updated place.

Avoid this place at all costs unless you want to sleep in a sauna. Thermostat in my room was showing 82 degrees and heat blasting. AC won’t turn on because it’s winter. Reception told me to just turn it off - which I did, and the heater is still pumping out 82 degree air. Hotel is not full, you would think there would be a functional room available but you would be wrong. Horrible experience.

Avoid this place at all costs unless you want to sleep in a sauna. Thermostat in my room was showing 82 degrees and heat blasting. AC won’t turn on because it’s winter. Reception told me to just turn it off - which I did, and the heater is still pumping out 82 degree air. Hotel is not full, you would think there would be a functional room available but you would be wrong. Horrible experience.

It was 80 degrees in the room and yet had no option for ac. It would not turn on. The bed was terrible. I felt like a banana curve. Extremely uncomfortable. Staff could have cared less about the ac issue. And there were facial hairs in the bathroom so you know it wasnt cleaned

The staff was EXTRAordinary! I had a medical emergency while I was staying here that required an ambulance. The front clerk actually offered to watch my Shi’tzu for me, so I had one less worry. Never in a million years would I expect something that kind from any hotel stay. BRAVO👍👍👍👍👍

Parking was fine but a little confusing. No air conditioning during colder months cause they have a boiler system so its either heat or cold. Room does have several fans. Staff was nice and helpful. Rate is good for how close it is to the downtown, easy walk to just about everything

The room itself was impeccably clean and delightfully decorated with a western theme. Location is directly downtown in an area with great walking access to independent coffee shops, restaurants and shopping. The building itself could use some updating to carpet and common areas. There is no elevator for guests to access the second floor.

Great location and an Old Style but great Motel in centre of town. It has some quirky bits, but that makes it all the better. Breakfast was an additional $8 and was amazing!! Great Coffee, Orange Juice and a FULL breakfast.

It was a decent hotel. The room we had was very small and compact for two full size beds, But we made it work. The facilities were outdated and the room was humid and muggy. I think I'd try another stay there and see how it goes.

Bathroom counter could use some updating but very clean.
