We had 4 adults and one child. Not enough shampoo and conditioners and towels. Door would not unlock. Both keys did not work. The man had to let us in by the buzzer. Elevators were out. Breakfast was very good 👍

We usual come to this hotel when working in the area. When we were getting on the elevator it seemed sketchy and then the next morning it was out of order so I didn’t get on it the rest of the stay. Other than that it’s a great reasonable hotel and the staff is very nice.

The pool had trash in it and dirty clothes around it. The bathrooms weren’t so clean and there was no toilet paper in the hall bathroom. The room smelled like smoke even though we got a smoke free room. Wasn’t the worst but definitely would not rebook.

The front doors were broken. Only one elevator was working. There were stains on the furniture and splatter of some sort on the headboard. The ac unit worked but sounded like it was on it’s last leg. The staff was very nice, but the faculty is rundown and dirty. Would not stay here again.

My grandsons enjoyed an evening in the pool. We had it all to ourselves. Breakfast was nice hot food. Eggs, biscuits, gravy, breakfast potatoes ,waffles. Beds were very comfortable.

The staff was very friendly and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and had good variety. It is close to many restaurants and shopping. One complaint would be the very small bathroom and the TV remote was very dirty. Everything else was great. I would definitely stay again.

Sadly it was smelly the moment we walked in the door. Our room was worse, it smelled like someone had recently cleaned up vomit. Sheets were not clean, we had to ask for new sheets. We could not get out of there fast enough. Although, Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel needs a cleaning. Bath mat was black with mold and when I told the girl when I checked out it didn’t seem to be a big deal. The door to the room locked but was loose, mold above the window and the bathroom door didn’t close. When I told them the juice machine had no containers of liquid they brought out a sign for -Out of Order.

We came to the area for a Baseball Camp. Check-In was easy and the attendant was very nice. Our room was spacious and clean. The hotel was clean and well maintained. They do serve breakfast but we did not have breakfast at the hotel because we did not have time. Check-out was easy and smooth and the morning attendant was very pleasant as well. The area is safe. I would stay again.

Hotel seemed ok at check-in. Later in evening after coming back from dinner, there were 2 people at edge of parking lot doing drugs. The elevator was not working, so we took the stairs. There was dried bits of throw up on the landing and a strong smell of marijuana. Sketchy to say the least. Once we did go to bed, a dog barked periodically through the night in the room next door. Tried knocking and talking to dog owner, but no answer and dog barked louder from my knocking. Called the front desk, but no one picked up. Decided to just try to sleep in between barking. In the morning I told the staff about the dog and they seemed like they already knew the issue saying, "Not again...we need to have that dog removed". I said no one was answering the door, but no comment from staff. I ended up cancelling our second night for all these reasons. Front desk staff did oblige and refund the second night. Not sure how this got the high rating it did on the Hotels.com site, or maybe we just had the perfect storm of unfortunate circumstances.

Building fire alarm system was powered off completely when I arrived. Notified front desk the next morning and confirmed that the fire alarm system had been shut off, and they were not performing firewatch as required by law. Staff turned the fire alarm system back on following a visit from the city fire marshal. Bathroom was very dark, with no overhead lighting and smelled like the area around the toilet had not been cleaned, with a faint urine smell. My room was facing the parking lot, and the window air conditioning unit pulled cigarette and marijuana smoke odor into the room throughout the night as patrons stepped outside to smoke directly under my room. When I contacted hotel staff regarding the issues with my stay, they advised they would not issue a refund or provide any compensation since I had stayed three nights, even though there seemed to be more issues each night.

Overall, I did not enjoy my stay. The room would not get cool enough. Thepeople above me were awake and partying until 6 AM, I called the front desk for assistance and the loud music and talking continued. I booked and paid for two nights, but left after the first night. I would not stay again unless there was not another option.

Staff didnt want to give me the room i reserved. Bathroom was not fully cleaned (counter is how i found it upon entering room). Front desk offered to wipe it down, they "didnt have any more rooms" so i was stuck. i still felt icky.

This is my 2nd stay within the past 3 months, in town on business. The lady at the front desk it amazing! She has womderful customer service skills, very helpful, knowledgeable and remembered me and called me by my name. Which was really cool made it personal and asked about the outcome of my last visit really nice to know that i meant that much tp het as a customer that she really did care and remembered me. In all my years 40 to be exact, ive never felt so welcomed and special as I do when i stay at the comfort inn in Conover, NC. Hospitality was awesome provided extras that i needed during my stay, flexible with me needing extra time to check out. Always a smile on her face. She is a great assset to your company and represents it very well. As the first contact when you arrive her smiling face ,warm welcome and personable personality means more to me then I can express. I def recommend this hotel, come stay the night and youll see why!!

Not bad in a pinch but wouldn’t stay again. Stayed because of a hurricane. First night had loud Latin music at 2:30 am. Front desk did fix it but it took a while. Then they lost power. Understandable it was a hurricane. But when we tried to extend our stay we were told we were all set when the guy never actually extended the stay. Then we get a call telling us that they were going to put our stuff in storage because we were supposed to be out and they acted like they didn’t even know who we were talking about. They need more training

Not a safe area! There was drug use in and around the hotel, and it looked like the hotel was used for prisoner transport. Not exactly family friendly!

Right off of I-40 in Conover; easy to find and turn into. The interior of the property needed a little cosmetic help, but I never felt the cleanliness or the integrity of the property were challenged. Food and gas are very near the property, or you can drive a couple of miles and there is just about any chain restaurant that you can think of along a nearby major road. Very quiet and safe. Staff were nice and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

Easy access off the interstate. Had plenty of dining options within 10 minutes of hotel. Shopping was also close. Hotel seemed to be have been undated in some areas.

The staff was very friendly and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and had good variety. It is close to many restaurants and shopping. One complaint would be the very small bathroom and the TV remote was very dirty. Everything else was great. I would definitely stay again.

Hotel seemed ok at check-in. Later in evening after coming back from dinner, there were 2 people at edge of parking lot doing drugs. The elevator was not working, so we took the stairs. There was dried bits of throw up on the landing and a strong smell of marijuana. Sketchy to say the least. Once we did go to bed, a dog barked periodically through the night in the room next door. Tried knocking and talking to dog owner, but no answer and dog barked louder from my knocking. Called the front desk, but no one picked up. Decided to just try to sleep in between barking. In the morning I told the staff about the dog and they seemed like they already knew the issue saying, "Not again...we need to have that dog removed". I said no one was answering the door, but no comment from staff. I ended up cancelling our second night for all these reasons. Front desk staff did oblige and refund the second night. Not sure how this got the high rating it did on the Hotels.com site, or maybe we just had the perfect storm of unfortunate circumstances.

The eggs were swimming in grease. Stayed next night in Quality Inn, much better price and better breakfast. The rating on line was excellent for this Comfort Inn. Not even close! I would not recommedn anyone stay here .

My grandsons enjoyed an evening in the pool. We had it all to ourselves. Breakfast was nice hot food. Eggs, biscuits, gravy, breakfast potatoes ,waffles. Beds were very comfortable.

Clean room bed was clean and comfortable and nice staff at check in. Bkfast was good enough to get you on your way!! The gem 💎 is the restaurant attached to the hotel. The food was good every night and so many different choices even though it was Oyster Seafood establish... the gym needed to be clean, no towels, no wipes to wipe machines down that was the only thing that needed attention.
