This cute little beachfront place is perfect for a couple. Direct beach access with both an indoor and outdoor pool. Everything was spotlessly clean. The beds are comfy and our room had a little balcony overlooking the ocean. It was also nice and quiet and not a lot of traffic in the area.

Really great staff, clean and comfortable rooms with an excellent view. Nice amenities even a fire pit and gazebo. Tiny hiccup the morning of checkout we left the room for an early stroll on the beach and returned around 9:45 to grab a shower before check-out, housekeeping was turning out our room (premature & awkward.) Standard Continental breakfast with a super nice attendant. Easy and convenient parking.

Our return trip was absolutely amazing! Everyone was even kind at each breakfast and everywhere on the grounds! It has become our perfect in state getaway destination! The private beach access is EVERYTHING!

The only disappointment was that the elevator was inconveniently located far from my room, requiring me to go through 3 or 4 buildings to get to mine. Also, i had to carry my luggage up outside stairs just to reach the elevator\'s "ground" floor.

Employees were awesome and helpful. Very clean. A/C was loud. Not enough chairs around pool. People leave towels on chairs all day to reserve. Great location. They need a small shop on site for food/drinks/nessesities.

So, there was some work being done on the parking lots which made parking a bit of a headache/hassle. It was also loud, but it didn't last long, and I understand needs to be done before peak season. The worst thing was I had family to visit, and they had to park across the street on basically a dirt road. If they are going to require a guest pass on the cars and for them to park across the street, they should have a lot like the hotel next them does. And if they're parking across the street, what's the point of getting a pass too?

Good location and pretty view. Continental Breakfast- was next to zero choices. Indoor Pool and hot tub were not working. Outdoor pool area had lots of ants. AC in room not working upon arrival but was fixed quickly. Gnats and fruit flies in the room- to the point that there was spray already in the bathroom. Lots of construction seemed to be underway, so hopefully next season the updates will be complete.

The room was spotless. The staff was top Notch! They were Professional and pleasant from the moment we checked in. The breakfast room was immaculate and well stocked. The front desk clerks I spoke to (5 in total) were all very nice and super pleasant! We highly recommend Ocean Isle Inn

Very comfortable stay. The staff are very nice and helpful. The only issue was hearing the customers above us walking and kids jumping. It stopped by 9pm. I would recommend staying on the 3rd level. We will visit again but stay on the top floor. Otherwise, we enjoyed the stay. It was clean and enjoyable. There was a church service on the beach on Sunday.

The stay was pretty nice. Great ocean view. Rooms were clean. Largely the staff would go out of their way for you. The only negative was the internet. There was bandwidth enough to check your email. However if you want to kick back game after day at the beach or just game on a rainy day you better have a high bandwidth internet hot spot because their internet speeds won't handle it. Brings up memories of dial up.

The room was very clean and comfortable. It had modern updates and an absolutely awesome view of the ocean. Since it was cold during the sunrise hours, we could see the sunrise from our window or balcony. The beds were comfortable, too! It was a wonderful stay for Thanksgiving away from home. The interactions with staff were always pleasant and friendly.

I was in a remodeled room, 221 on the end. Very clean, nice bathroom, could have used a little more water pressure but was still very usable to wash shampoo from my hair. Structurally older, so no electric outlet on one side of bed, but I always bring an extension cord so it was not an issue. Very nice people, the lady at breakfast was very talkative, but kind. I felt safe enough to go back by myself next time. Breakfast was basic…self made waffles, microwave biscuits, boiled eggs in a package, bagels, toast, coffee, juice….but it was included, so this is not really a complaint. Clean

My son and I came for two nights to enjoy some beach time. This was going to be the highlight of our 10 day trip. All was good until the hotel called after we had checked out and left me a voicemail while I was driving stating that I needed to return the throw pillow that was missing from the chair or I would be charged $300. I called back and also had to leave a voicemail. I assured the hotel that I had not taken anything but my belongings and the chair did not have a throw pillow when we arrived. Later the hotel called back and stated their records assured them that the pillow was there and I needed to bring it back, meanwhile they had put a hold on my card. I again stated there was not a pillow. They then asked me where I had parked so that they could review security footage. This whole thing was very upsetting and put a dark cloud over our trip. It was the accusatory tone and communication from the hotel that had me so upset. Later they called back and confirmed I did not take the pillow and apologized for the inconvenience. I said perhaps next time check the footage before calling your guest and accusing them. Perhaps call and say did you happen to see a pillow and/or take it in error? So dissatisfied. We will not return now and when we had first left we were definitely planning on coming back.

BookEd an extra front room did not receive that was told they were sold out. It was like basically the only hotel within 15 miles and anything near the beach so we just took the room. The gentleman at the front desk was not helpful. The worm side definitely nothing special. I think it’s really nice about the place is the outdoor amenities which we sat outside looked at but did not use because we were only there for one night and I already had plans.

My stay was great. Only thing that bothered me was on the second day instead of knocking someone from the front desk attempted to enter the room luckily we had the thingy across the top that stops someone from entering. So from that incident we kept the “Do not disturb” paper on the door for the rest of our stay.

The facility was clean and convenient. The rooms were clean and updated. The bad part of our stay was booking through Expedia, when we arrived the ocean front two queen room was not available. There was apparently a mis-communication between Expedia and the Ocean Isle Inn. We were at the desk for quite a while trying to figure out what to do. We ended up having to completely book a new room upon arrival, with the room not having an ocean view as we had originally booked. As we were out shopping in Ocean Isle Beach I got a call that we needed to hurry back to the front office of Ocean Isle Inn, for there was an urgent issue. We arrived back at the office only to stand in line for 20-30 minutes waiting with no explanation of what is going on. By this time it was getting late, our kids were hungry and tired. Finally making up to the counter the worker asked for us to fill out all of our check in information all over again and run our credit card a second time. We were still not told what was occurring. We overheard another working saying they were sorry for the mix up and our stay would be compensated on the Inn. Still at this time our stay has not been compensated and Expedia has yet to remove the charges from our credit card.

Balcony view and distance to the Ocean was nice Upon early check-in we arrived at our assigned room to find the nastiest woman cleaning our room. I haven't been verbally abused and threatened like this House keeping lady or anybody else in my whole life. Ruined the whole stay actually. Will not go back mostly due to this treatment.

Ocean Isle Inn was a great stay, spacious, clean, updated room, extremly friendly, accommodating staff and very good breakfast. Karen in the breakfast room was so welcoming and full of great information. Ed and Jay were awesome at check in, giving us dinner recommendations and helping us when our keys were not working for our room.

I always wanted to stay at this location. Very close to the beach. I highly recommend a balcony view if you're into photography. I was told by staff to book well ahead of schedule to get an ocean view room.

Loved the indoor and outdoor pool options. It was so hot and it was lovely to take a break from the sun while still being able to enjoy a swim with our children. The proximity to the central portion of the island with the shops was great. We didn’t have an ocean view room but the views from the outdoor patio were lovely. Appreciated the outdoor shower to wash off the sand before going to the room and pool. The breakfast was limited but adequate. A nice bonus that not all offer. We would book again.

Well maintained property right on the beach. Loved that it was walkable to everything in the beach area. Continental breakfast was very good but the coffee was bad. Easy walk down the street to the lovely coffee shop after we grabbed a bite to eat. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice beachfront hotel at a reasonable price. Rooms are a comfortable size and include all the necessities. Staff was great and very helpful. The breakfast is your normal hotel fast food breakfast - nothing special and if you eat healthy, there are few options. Overall we were pleased with the value we received for the price.

Excellent location!! Close to pier and dining. The room was wonderfully upgraded. The breakfast bar was lacking. Always a wait for the waffle machine. Other than that we had a fantastic stay!!

We enjoyed our stay. We were there for our youngest daughters birthday. It was very family friendly. Not crowded at all. All the amenities we needed; breakfast, directly on the beach, walking distance to so many extra things to do, nice heated pool, hot tub, nice outdoor pool. The only recommendation would be to offer some type of protein for breakfast.
