We took our niece, nephews and grandson away for a mini vacation and to celebrate my husband’s 62nd birthday. I highly recommend this beautiful home to stay in. Very quiet, clean and easy access to the lake, basketball courts and pool area. Unfortunately it was the wrong time of the year so the pool wasn’t open but it overlooks the lake and mountains surround you. Kids had a blast.

The house was very nice overall and in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was nice enough with a huge refrigerator. The internet was great. There were lots of deer around. The only issues I had were with the access through the entry gate from River Road. The community apparently put in a new electronic access system and the guest QR codes were not working. This only really became an issue when trying to return to the house at 10PM on a Sunday and there was no guard at the entrance to let me in.

We decided last minute to head down to the lake and luckily found this property was available. The host was incredibly responsive and supportive of our needs. Property is a perfect getaway, had feels of a mountain cabin with some cool features the kids loved! The community pool was nice and location to the lake is great! All around highly recommend!

We've stayed at a lot of nice VRBO's and this was the cleanest one ever! The winter-lake view was really relaxing and the home is a great layout for a family or multiple guests. Two full bathrooms were spacious and fully-stocked. A bonus is the downstairs finished basement featuring activities and several games. It was a blessing on a rainy day. The cottage is even cuter and more charming than the pictures and the beds very comfortable! The host was quick with communication and check in and out was easy.

Nice, clean and Cozy nice place to relax and close to nature. My family enjoyed coffee in the morning listening to the birds surrounded by trees. Fantastic stay, beautiful inside, comfortable beds and wonderful kitchen to cook in. However for privacy and sleeping in purposes, I’d suggest thicker curtains where a thin drape hangs(master bedroom and bath) and a curtain on the entrance door for privacy and security.

Homeowner was responsive to questions before and during stay. House was beautiful with games in semi finished basement for entertainment if we had kids ir if a rainy day. Well decorated and maintained. The homeowner even had travel size necessities in case we forgot something (toothbrush, toothpaste, cereal, etc). Great location and gorgeous surroundings and views! Property was very clean, everything worked as it should, nice upgrades in kitchen appliances, and excellent communication with the owner! Everything we needed to get started in the property was supplied and available. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a cozy getaway on the lake! We will rent this again next year when we return to this lake for our fishing tournament.

We enjoyed our stay at Lake Escape. The house is located in a quiet area of the gated community. The house was clean and welcoming. There was a gift basket to welcome guests and plenty of towels and other necessities you might need. The kitchen was well stocked too. My children loved the game tables in the basement . It is close to many fun outdoor activities. We hope to come again soon. It was a wonderful and relaxing place for a vacation.
