The hotel is located in a central area that’s close to a lot of shopping and restaurants. What we really enjoyed, however, was the cleanliness of the hotel and the rooms as well as the continental breakfast and the fantastic staff!! Overall best hotel experience we’ve had in all our visits to Grand Forks. We come every few months for the weekend.

This hotel is great. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the entire hotel. Will definitely stay here every time we come to Grand Forks. Also the girl at the front desk at check in was so friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was good, bed was comfortable. The common areas were clean but the room was a different story. Dust, hair, stains on comforter and there was a not so pleasant smell to the room. Wasnt horrible but wasnt nice. The hot tub was out of order BUT we did go to a sister hotel and use their hot tub. Some of the staff were very unkept also.

Breakfast was good, bed was comfortable. The common areas were clean but the room was a different story. Dust, hair, stains on comforter and there was a not so pleasant smell to the room. Dirty. Smelled like someone had lived and died in the room. We tolerated because we were too tired to fight it. Beds seemed clean. Bathroom floor hadn’t been cleaned, tub hadn’t been cleaned, shower head was gross … place is just getting very rundown. Plug ins in the walls made me nervous to even use. The shower water was hot.

All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Our room wasnt cleaned thoroughly. There was sticky stuff on walls, beer caps under the chair and receipts on the floor. I needed a rollaway and it still had the dirty sheets and washcloths from a previous guest. If the place wasn't booked for the weekend I would have changed rooms. I couldn't afford to book a rolm elsewhere, nor were there any at a decent price available.

Pretty basic, it seemed to be renovated cheaply. Sink in the bathroom was made for a 4 year olds height. For the amount of money I spent I could have stayed somewhere better quality.

Staff was poorly dressed. Very unprofessional. One male staff member on more than a few occasions sped through parking lot with his very noisy car which was annoying and very concerning. Our room had a musty odour. Very noisy as well.

I did not even get the chance to stay here and still have not received a refund. When we tried to check in there was someone already in our room and there were no other rooms available. We had to go pay for another room across town and because it was a prepaid room they will not refund our stay but we never stayed. This has been a terrible experience. I cannot get a manager to actually talk to me he just talks in the background to whoever is working the counter and will not actually talk to me directly.

There was only 1 employee working the front desk and managing the breakfast area so everything was empty. She was busy at the desk. She was trying her best but this was unfair to both the worker and the people waiting in the breakfast area. Seeing her poor the eggs out of a big plastic bag was very unappetizing. Rooms need updating although they were clean. Bed had 2 body intents in the mattress. Walls are very thin and could hear everything so made it difficult to sleep. I will probably look for a different place to stay next visit to Grand Forks.

The hotel is literally across the street from the mall and the Texas Road house. Staff were friendly and personable, breakfast was good, rooms were clean. I was genuinely impressed for the amount I spent. I would definitely stay with them again

We loved how close it was to shopping areas and restaurants. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Great breakfast and the room was great too - comfortable bed, bathroom and everything was clean and no funky musty smells like are often common at hotels. The only downside is they were doing maintenance on the pool, so we couldn't use the pool or hot tub which was a bummer since that is something you pay for and were looking forward to. It wasn't a huge deal, just more a letdown. We'd recommend the hotel to others though and stay there again.

The eggs were not good, reconstituted powder, breakfast area wasn't really clean, pool looked like oil floating on the surface, some staff were not great. Overall it was an average stay, not great but not bad. I would go back for a good price.

Nice hotel, clean, pool was ok. 5am breakfast was a huge plus for those who need to check out early. Breakfast was fantastic, best waffles ever.

Check in was a breeze! The lady was super friendly and had everything ready. Took 5 minutes. I enjoyed the bed, my husband thought it was yoo soft. Breakfast was super. Lots of choices. We did not use the pool. Would definitely return.

There was only 1 employee working the front desk and managing the breakfast area so everything was empty. She was busy at the desk. She was trying her best but this was unfair to both the worker and the people waiting in the breakfast area. Seeing her poor the eggs out of a big plastic bag was very unappetizing. Rooms need updating although they were clean. Bed had 2 body intents in the mattress. Walls are very thin and could hear everything so made it difficult to sleep. I will probably look for a different place to stay next visit to Grand Forks.

Our air conditioning didn’t work well, I went and told the staff that was on, it was 1030 at night and she said oh do you want to move rooms? I was looking for a discount as we were leaving in the morning . Then our smoke detector went off and smoke in our room, and all she said was oh turn it off and turn it back on that should fix it. There was also a beeping going on in the mechanical room by the pool and the jets weren’t working . It was ok, expensive for what we got .

The room was nicely renovated. Simple, basic, but met our needs. The gal at the front desk was outstanding. She was helpful, patient, and easy to work with. The breakfast could have had more options, but at least the coffee was good. It was inconvenient that there was no elevator, but despite how much stuff we had, we managed. It's a good hotel for the price, clean, updated, basic, no funny smells, and didn't make us feel creeped out...since it was just two of us gals traveling. I usually don't write reviews, but this simple little hotel is worth the write up. We'll definitely stay again.

I booked the hotel for a funeral. I came from three states away and was planning on spending three nights. Plans change. I only needed two nights. When I approached the desk, they told me I could not cancel the final night. When I told the employee I would not be there the last night he shrugged and said I could turn the key in if I wanted to. His apology seemed very flat. In the end, we decided to stay the third night. If we had to pay for the room and might as well use it. Now let's talk about the hot tub. It is a hot tub, but the jets don't do anything. Now let's talk about housekeeping. They never stepped in my room. Never left us clean towels. I even dumped all our dirty towels out in the hall our second day thinking that they would get the point to bring in fresh ones. They picked them up, but they never entered our room to at least give us new towels. Never made the bed. Garbage was overflowing. It was very much a serve self operation.
