The hotel was experiencing some technical difficulties with room keys during our stay. BUT, the staff were courteous, friendly and helpful in a situation that was highly stressful. Guests were given complimentary hors d'oeuvres and drinks for the inconvenience. Also, a complimentary breakfast. Our hotel room exceeded our expectations! It was large and beautiful. There was a big room just to sit (and do yoga!) and a separate bedroom. Everything was tasteful and clean. Staff gave great recommendations for things to do. I would encourage folks to consider this hotel in the future.

Parking on the street can be a challenge however the Hotel has an excellent valet service and is reasonably priced. The desk and dining room staff are friendly and helpful and the interior decor is pleasant.

Carlos was so welcoming! Which set the tone for our stay. The location of the hotel is great if you’re catching a show or spending time at the Old Market. Gym space is not large, has 2 treadmills but only 1 works.

The location was close to the airport. This was downtown and walkable to many eateries. They have a bar and restaurant attached which was convenient. My husband and I ate at the restaurant the morning before our flight, the food was good. The staff was exceptional and professional, from the restaurant to the front desk. We used their free shuttle to get to the airport the next morning. The room was a little dated but clean and comfortable.

The hotel was well decorated and the staff was friendly. The furniture was so uncomfortable. We got stuck on the couch. The TV in the bedroom didnt work and my husband had to fix it. No resources in the room and not sure how to contact the front desk or room service because there wasnt a phone in the room. Only one garbage can in the room which was in the bathroom and wasn't empty when we arrived. The website said there was tea and coffee in common areas. There wasn't. The shower was complicated with the instructions on the sink counter and NOT in the shower. The water didn't get above really warm. We did not get what we paid for.

I arrived late and i was tired so I didn't notice until the next morning that the room was disgustingly dirty. I at first noticed a half inch of dirt and hair around the base of the bathroom floor and then I saw the side if the bed I slept on had trash along the edges of it. I was so grossed out I stopped looking any further for fear of what else I would see and just tried to get out of there. I asked to file a complaint at the front desk and was told I had to send my complaint through the booking site. I would never had spent the night here if I had seen how filthy the room was the night I arrived.. Just not acceptable.

I have repeatedly came back hoping for something different, but the lack of cleanliness I have seen on more than one visit will keep me from staying here again. This visit the sink still hand toothpaste and hair in it. The mirrors hadn't been touched. There were dried up contacts laying on the bedside table from the previous guest and there was trash around the edges of the bed. Just gross. You have one job, clean the room between guests. I'm done with this place.

This hotel was amazing! It was beautiful, clean, and the staff was very nice. I got there an hour before check-in time and was prepared to sit and wait to check in. I explained i was early and was prepared to.wait until 4pm but the front desk clerk told me no need, my room was ready and checked me in. The room was clean, smelled great, and was so comfortable. I was 100% happy with my stay and will definitely stay there again if i am in that area.

LOVED the room, amenities, lobby/bar and location. Great atmosphere and value for what we paid, would definitely recommend overall. However a couple staff members were a little standoffish. Also housekeeping didn’t make the beds and insisted we had left several items on them which was not the case.

The two gentlemen who checked us into the hotel the night of September 23rd were great! They saw us bringing in our bikes into our tenth floor room, and they offered to let us store them in the garage. They also kept the doors open late as we were a late arrival. thanks for the hospitality guys!! Plus, our room was spotless --> so nice!!

It’s a very cute and vibey hotel. It definitely is trying to go for this old Hollywood vibe and I’d say they succeed. It’s in the heart of Downtown Omaha so it’s near all the things!

Overall, a good stay for the 2023 College World Series. Pros: The rooms were very spacious. The air conditioning works. We were away from the noise of the College World Series. Walking distance to the stadium is about a mile, but if it’s hot, grab an Uber. Just know that cell service around the stadium is non-existent so you have to walk away to get a return Uber. The bed was comfortable and had outlets nearby to charge devices. The room service food was good, but the service needs a little work. The cleaning crew was easy to find when supplies were needed. Never had to wait for an elevator. WiFi worked in the lobby so if you have to work, you might not be able to in the room. Bed is super soft. Cons: Valet parking is available, but don’t expect help with your bags. The staff could be trained more on etiquette. We were hung up on several times without knowing if they understood our request. Front desk staff was courteous and helpful. The music in the lobby and restaurant has got to go. The shower system is a bit complicated. Water pressure is not great. Would be great to have softer sheets and robes available for the price of the room. Staff wouldn’t allow us a late checkout. We were able to request an extra thirty mins. Couldn’t connect to wifi in our room. Might want to ditch cable and get Roku enabled TVs so guests can login to streaming services. This would make the hotel feel like a more modern stay.

Room was spacious and very comfortable. Bathroom was spa like. Only issue was weak internet service. However, being forced to unplug isn’t all bad! Highly recommend Hotel Deco.

We LOVED that the hotel was located directly across from the Orpheum because we were in town for a show. However, we were disappointed how dirty downtown was. We are used to the Old Market area and this was a much different vibe. The staff was excellent and made us feel very welcome. However, the room was starting to show wear and tear.

The doorman didn’t even bother to open the door and just sat in his seat, next to the door, while I struggled to get my stuff in and out (door wasn’t accessible so no option for automatic open). Also, while checking in, the few staff members were loudly badmouthing other guests right next to the person checking me in. I heard everything that was said loud and clear. While it is very understandable to be frustrated at work, especially in a service industry setting, this behavior is extremely inappropriate to in front of other guests.

Always blown away by the work ethnic of people in Omaha every time I go down but this was my first time staying here and this will be my go to for weekend get aways. Awesome staff, we walked everywhere we went because everything was close! Free live concerts, all types of awesome places to eat and tons of awesome places to get photos. I also want to mention that at about 9pm Friday night I notice my thermostat showed low batteries so I went down to grab more to not have to make the call in the middle of the night, the guy working the counter couldn't find them and offered to go down to the market and grab my batteries, blew me away that someone would offer to do that at all. Thats a guy you got to try and keep around! Amazing with people. Thanks for guys for an awesome birthday stay with zero issues! Will be back soon

I also want to mention that at about 9pm Friday night I notice my thermostat showed low batteries so I went down to grab more to not have to make the call in the middle of the night, the guy working the counter couldn't find them and offered to go down to the market and grab my batteries, blew me away that someone would offer to do that at all. Thats a guy you got to try and keep around! Amazing with people. Thanks for guys for an awesome birthday stay with zero issues! Will be back soon

The hotel itself is very nice, however first impressions speak volumes. As my daughter and I were coming in the lobby door, the young valet gentleman stood at his podium not offering to hold a door or assist us with our numerous bags, then our initial encounter with the front desk older lady wasn’t a warm friendly one, but we got our keys and headed to our room. We noticed the makeup mirror in the bathroom didn’t work, there was no charger in the room, the phone didn’t work to call the front desk, and there was no water pressure in the shower, when I nicely explained this to the lady at the desk, she told me to bring the mirror to her to be charged, said “thank for the info” on the phone and the city was working in the water and it will be fixed by that evening. We then left and went on with our day, upon returning at midnight we found we had no housekeeping for the day, no washcloths, and not surprising, all previous items had not been addressed. The night desk clerk was very nice, offered to personally move all our items to another room, we kindly refused as we were very tired. The next morning we left our room, took the mirror to the desk were we we greeted by two very professional and friendly staff… they acknowledged my concerns and promptly fixed all problems with the room. Had we been treated like this from the start I would have given this place 5 stars all around…again 1st impressions can speak volumes.

Staff was friendly and prompt. I will say that reaching them by phone is difficult. The room was very clean. Charging station for devices. Lots of big fluffy pillows. Location is perfect for walking to a broadway show.

Hotel Deco had the friendliest staff working on all shifts during our stay! We loved the atmosphere, such a unique hotel. The location worked well for our group. It was right across the street from the Orpheum and a quick, short walk to the Old Market. We will definitely stay here again!

The location was close to the airport. This was downtown and walkable to many eateries. They have a bar and restaurant attached which was convenient. My husband and I ate at the restaurant the morning before our flight, the food was good. The staff was exceptional and professional, from the restaurant to the front desk. We used their free shuttle to get to the airport the next morning. The room was a little dated but clean and comfortable.

We LOVED that the hotel was located directly across from the Orpheum because we were in town for a show. However, we were disappointed how dirty downtown was. We are used to the Old Market area and this was a much different vibe. The staff was excellent and made us feel very welcome. However, the room was starting to show wear and tear.

Great location to Orpheum and to downtown. We were able to park on the street next to the hotel. Nice rooms and friendly front desk staff. Very nice bathroom but hardly any water pressure. We tried the restaurant downstairs for breakfast on a Sunday morning. No one was in the restaurant and it took over 30 min to get our food which was poor quality. Would definitely stay at the property again but would not eat at the restaurant for breakfast.

The front desk worker was indifferent to our needs and not very friendly. I was excited about the shower, as it had a beautiful rain head and body jets. However, the water pressure was non-existent and barely dribbled out, making it almost impossible to rinse the shampoo out of my hair and soap off my body. On the first night before bed, I requested more coffee pods for our second morning. The front desk told me they would send some up in the morning because she didn't know where they were. Nothing came. I called front desk at 7:30 am and was told they were out and if I wanted some coffee from the restaurant, I could come down and get some. I requested they bring it to our room because it wasn't convenient for me to go get it (we were sleeping in on vacation). An hour later, after I called a second time, a staff member brought me-surprise-some coffee pods that magically appeared. We were looking forward to breakfast in the restaurant the first morning, only to find out the kitchen staff didn't show up, so it was closed. How ridiculous! Upon check out, I had to remind the employee to remove the $50 valet fee as we were told it was complimentary, and also that the charge for the second night was incorrect. It was corrected. $100 deposit per night instead of per a 2-night stay ($200) seems excessive. We will think twice before booking here again.

When we arrived, it was in the 40's, and the air conditioner was blowing cold air all night. I had to wear my coat to bed. We complained and they fixed it. We went to breakfast, and we waited over an hour for our breakfast, and the food was not very good. When we checked out, we did not receive any kind of final bill, so we have no idea if they charged us for extra things we didn't use. The only really good thing was the Valet, who was quite friendly and nice. I think you should know exactly what you are going to pay, and people should not have to pay $25 a day to park their cars in the hotel lot.

Beautiful hotel located close to downtown Omaha. Located near the Farmer’s Market on Saturday morning. We were able visit the Wicked Rabbit Speakeasy next door- which was amazing. Great stay, great staff and great location. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing time!! ALL of the staff were friendly and helpful and social!! Book this hotel, you will not regret it!! Walking distance to the "old town", which is great because parking is a nightmare with all of the construction going on. Synn was our bartender, she was awesome!!

The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Had a lot of amenities. It was in walking distance to the old market. The staff were all friendly and helpful. If you can, request a room on a higher floor. You could hear a lot of noise from people and traffic on the third floor, especially on Friday and Saturday nights.

I booked a King room for me and my wife. Upon entering the room we were given 2 beds. We had a concert to go to and they were switching shifts so I let it go due to time constraints. We had planned a romantic getaway and was told there was a speakeasy for us to come back to the hotel and enjoy after our concert. It was close due to "maintenance" but was never disclosed. We let that slide and just went to our room to relax. First bed had ripped sheet under the comforter and when we tried to sleep in the other bed it just wasn't big enough for both of us to get comfortable like we are used to at home(King bed). I absolutely loved the decor, the vibe and wished we could have enjoyed the property more than we were allowed. I would love to give this hotel a second chance considering Omaha is like a second home to us and wanted to try someplace new than the usual places we stay.
