Best Western Plus Sidney Lodge

Carpet in halls looks old and dirty but there were large rolls of carpet in the lobby so it might be getting replaced. I had a pet friendly room with no carpet but it smelled musty, like it was mopped with dirty water or something, maybe not mopped. I did not take ducks off.

This is a nice hotel next to an Applebee's restaurant. The only issue I had was that the pool was marked closed. The staff told me that the heat was out in the pool and that was why it was closed and she did let us go in and use it anyway. Of course, the pool was freezing, and the Hot Tub was way too hot.

The staff was very helpful, as we had a family gathering with our kids and grandkids. We were allowed to use the conference room for our lunch and giving of gifts.

Staff is very courteous. Hotel and room are super clean. I enjoyed a workout in the fitness room after checking in. Great place to stay on our way through!
