We love this resort. Staff is great, rooms are really nice. Breakfast is great. Only down side was pool was not very warm for a heated pool. New hot tub is on the smaller size, which is a shame. Wish they had ev charging too. But will be back for sure.

This is a superior facility. Our room was perfect. The pantry a few doors down the hall had so many water and coffee options. The dining facilities were top notch. Super friendly staff. Complimentary guest laundry and sauna. Amazing Mountain Views.

The pool was smaller than expected and not pristine clean. The hotel staff were generally fine but some were not accommodating. Hotel is in a great location. Grounds are beautiful

We been coming for years. Rooms are great. Staff is super. In the winter the play kid movies at night. Only draw back to this visit was when we were swimming we could smell the septic gas. But the water was super warm and swimming at sight with snow falling was great.

Great location. Only minutes away from nature parks, Diana’s Baths, the outlets, and center of North Conway. Only an hour to the cog railway Mount Washington. Very clean, recently renovated, and efficiently run hotel. The Tavern can be crowded as it is rather small.

My family and I have stayed at this property numerous of times. They recently did a whole new renovation on property. Feels like home away from home! Weekend nightly music entertainment in the tavern to a heated outdoor pool all year round! Perfect to visit any season whether its summer, spring, winter or fall!

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed so far. The Mountain View from the outside is stunning. There is an arcade area, fitness area, outdoor heated pool & hot tub. On-site restaurant with cook to order free breakfast with your stay as well as adjoining tavern next to the restaurant for a late night cap. We’ll definitely come back for a stay if we are in the area.

Everything was excellent until it was time for bed. The guests in the room directly above our room were extremely loud, with what sounded like stomping feet across the floor late into the night & very early in the morning. I mentioned it to the front desk after the first night with the hopes that the 2nd night would be better. The guests above continued to stomp around until 11:00pm and again starting at 5:00am. I literally counted 23 stomping trips across the room above from 5:00am to 6:15am. I can not imagine what was going on? I would rate my stay a 5 out of 5 if this had not happened. The rooms, public spaces, hallways, grounds, beautiful & very clean. The food in the restaurant very good. We ate breakfast twice, appetizers & dinner. Would I stay again, yes but request a room on the 3rd floor.

This was our first visit since the renovations, and we were pleased with them outside of 2 things. First is the rooms are too “chic” and the sofa chairs in the rooms are not very comfortable, however, the bed was very comfortable and plenty of pillows! The bathroom and shower were excellent. The 2nd thing was the outdoor hot tub “shrunk”. The original could easily hold 10-12 people no problem. The “new” one holds maybe 4 comfortably, not sure why they would make it smaller. The food, was great, the only exception was, the New England Chowder. Growing up and living on Cape Cod, we know our chowder. The chowder at the White Mountain Resort was way too thick, and needs to thinned out. It was very flavorful with plenty of clams, scallops, shrimp, and cod. Thin it out, and you will have hit it out of the park! We can’t wait to go back!

Very noisy. Around 4 am I heard a noise that I couldn't tell if it was a person screaming or some kind of animal, overall very disturbing. I also hated the sheets, like possibly made out of plastic. For the price I paid, I was expecting something considerable more luxurious. The photos are a bit deceiving.

The property was clean, the room was nice, the bar area was really quiet and a nice place to sit and just hang and talk and the bartender was extremely friendly. The room as I said was nice, clean, liked that they had robes and slippers, but the only complaint I have, which may seem petty, but it really bothered us, was that you had to get out of bed to shut off the lights. It may seem like a small thing, but if you’re all tucked in and comfy, reading or whatever and done, you have to get out of bed to shut off the lamp because the shut off switch is too high. The other thing, the service at breakfast wasn’t so friendly, all the staff seemed annoyed, like they didn’t want to be there.

A great place, beautiful area. The only downside was the room above our that stopped back and forth all night. My kids don't even make that much noise above my bedroom at home and it's doesn't have sound proofing

The room was an average room, with normal wear and tear. My issue is the lack of insulation between rooms. We could hear every step the room above us took. They didn’t go to bed until midnight and up at 5 am, sounded like elephants. The hotel was clearly not at full capacity so why would they stick us under someone? This is what sets an ok hotel apart from a good one

Loved the property and the dining room. The beds were not too comfortable and the sheets felt and sounded like sandpaper. There is very little sound proofing, so it was rather loud all night both nights. Otherwise, it is a lovely place. Love the coffee/water areas in each floor and the lobby in the morning was very cozy with a cup of coffee.

The staff was from front desk , dining room , house keeping to pro shop. The golf pro fit me in for a lesson being I haven’t played in a long time. The was course was beautiful and well maintained grounds crew great job. Thank you we had a great 30th anniversary stay!

My wife and I planned a quick getaway for our anniversary, and we could not have chose a better place for it than the White Mountain Hotel. Everything was perfect! The staff were universally superb and friendly. The lobby had a fantastic wood fire burning all day. The tavern and restaurant were exceptional. And the cherry on top were the outdoor heated pool and hot tub…fantastic in sub freezing weather. We cannot wait to go back!

My husband and I took a quick get away trip to New Hampshire. This was our first time staying at the White Mountain Hotel. What a great place! Everyone was so friendly! From the staff at the front desk, to the waiters and the cleaning staff. Everyone always has a smile on their face. We really enjoyed the year round outdoor pool and hot tub while it snowed! The fireplace in the main room was so relaxing too. We will definitely visit again!

This was our second time staying at the property. We enjoyed our stay both times. The resort is slightly off the beaten path (which we love) yet convenient to everything. The room was nice and clean and the food was really good. We’ll be back.

We enjoyed our stay here so much that we extended it by a day. Lovely ambience, great views, comfy beds, pleasant staff, great hot breakfast included, even entertainment. Wish we had thought to bring our bathing suits for a dip in the heated outdoor pool.

Not a kids friendly hotel. The hotel population is 60 . The employees in the restaurants were not nice. You need to order breakfast from the menu, and you are eligible for only 1 dish ( if you want more, you will need to pay for it) which makes it very hard and not customers friendly service. It is a nice and fancy hotel, but what I have mentioned above makes it less attractive for family with kids.

We hadn’t realized this hotel is a golf resort. My husband says it should have been obvious from the “Fairways” street address, but I didn’t catch it from the hotel description. If you go for golf and have a tee time, it might be fine, but the various restrictions were a hassle for us. Like you need an advance reservation for breakfast, and they act as though you can’t get the complimentary breakfast if you don’t come on time. But we arrived on time and didn’t get seated until 15 minutes after our reservations, because no one was actually at host/hostess station; then service at breakfast was slow/unfriendly. Why not a good buffet and come when you like 7-10? Lots of other annoyances, like the bar charges $19 per glass for wine that costs $15 per bottle; 2 burgers & 2 beers at the bar was about $100 inc tip. Why? Lots of guests seemed happy so maybe we’re missing something. But compared to the 4 other places we stayed on our road trip this place was a disappointment for the money.

The hotel is in a beautiful location with views of the fall leaves and valley. Breakfast was included in our package and it was well worth it. The Belgian waffles, French toast and pancakes were delicious. Egg sandwich comes on a homemade croissant. Don’t skip the muffins which they give at the start. Rooms are nice but you can hear people in the halls

The view is top notch. The staff is friendly. The hotel itself is dated and lacks amenities one would expect in a hotel of this caliber. The other major gripe is breakfast must be reserved ahead of time and well, its booked out before you can reserve a spot. I have a couple of other issues but I wont list them here.
