It was conveniently located off the interstate. When I booked the room I had no idea there is no elevators in this hotel. So this senior and traveling companions had to carry heavy luggage up a long flight of steep stairs. I would not have booked this hotel if I had known this. The morning breakfast was pretty sparse.

The room reeks of smoke. The front desk lady suggested we park in camera view due to break ins. The pool is not working and closed. We need a full refund immediately.

our room was dirty and smelled stale. there were stains on the pillows and the sheets. the floor was not swept. the bathtub had dirt on the bottom. the entire place was dirty inside and out. the lady who checked is in was nice and understanding. the next lady who checked us out looked dirty and was rude. we would never stay here again.

Room was fairly but conditioner and body wash were not filled. Also, the bed was not clean. Urine stains on mattress and food on mattress. Bed was broken as well. Looked like they tried to remodel but they should of got new furniture if they were going to remodel. Especially the bed.

Room was not clean. Bathtub had hair - including pubic hair (gross!). And generally looked dirty. The room looked unclean as well. Door had dirt and smudges all over. Floor didn’t look nice either. Then I was locked out of my room at 8 am after trying to get breakfast. Maintenance let me back in. He was very nice and helped me diagnosis what was leaking from my vehicle. Front desk man was also very helpful. This is not my first day at this hotel in Grants. I drive to Arizona often and I need a place to overnight. Can’t imagine I will be back.

I have stayed at over 6 hotels during the last week for my vacation, this one smelled like raw sewage and there were hairs all over our pillows/beds. Hair in my sink and shower. It was disgusting! The bed was not very comfortable it felt soft at first but after being in it for about an hour my side and back both hurt.

This motel was dirty and very run down. When i arrived, there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. I had to go to the office to get some. The room was very stark and bare. It felt cold and unfinished. The towels were very thin, dingy and unraveling. There was nowhere to hang any towels or hand towels. There was no bar soap or hand soap. The tub did not drain and would fill with water when showering. When going to check out in the morning, the door to the front desk was locked, so i had to walk all the way around to the front entrance to check out. Just wasn't a comfortable or positive experience.

The female employee at check in was very polite and professional. Everything was quick and smooth. There was a lot of road noise and noisy guests, too. A big problem were the doors. They were very loud when closed. You could hear the door close several rooms away. This made sleeping difficult. The weatherstripping around the doors had large gaps all around the frame. You could see light coming in all around the door. The shower heads was very loud! It sounded like a jet airplane taking off. This, too, could be heard from neighboring rooms. Breakfast was poor. Biscuits and gravy was bland. No eggs. Cold cereal. I noticed the yogurt was out of date, so I didn’t have any. Not a terrible place to stay, but for $100 in a smaller town like Grants, I think I can make a better choice next time.

the people were nice, they only had one worker and there was a line but she did wonderful at her job. once we got to the room it was hot because they ran the heater and the shower wouldn’t get above luke warm and would leak out did the shower to the floors which felt warped. the bed was comfortable but we only had 4 really small pillows and one of the lights wouldn’t turn off so we had to unscrew the light bulbs

We booked this facility because it was a byproduct of Best Western and we have always been satisfied with Best Western. We also booked because of the pool and hot tub. They were both empty and we were told they had been down for maintenance for over a month. This should be updated on the website. Desk staff said we should have called in to see if the pool and hot tub were working. Certainly defeats the purpose of booking online for efficiency The TV did not work, had to move to another room, heat couldn't be turned down, ran out of hot water, no body wash or hair conditioner. I am requesting a refund as it was just too many things

Internet weak and tv didn’t work at all!!!!!! Nice lady at the front desk said it was too cloudy for the tv too work!!! Direct TV!! Sun was shining most of the time!

Terrible. Edie, the front desk clerk assured my wife I could check in early to prepare for a hospital procedure. The early check in was arranged a day in advance. After arriving to check in at noon to prepare for a colonoscopy, the manager on duty said the room was not ready, and I would have to pay an extra $25 to enter the room. He said it was Expedia's policy. The front desk clerk and on duty manager are both despicable liars. I won't be using Expedia or hotels.com anymore.

I made a reservation for my wife and son traveling cross country. They were exhausted when they got in at 7:40pm. There was no line in the foyer, but the person at the desk was so slow, and after giving them keys that didn’t work and having to go back and wait again for the slow clerk to get new ones, they did not get into the room until 8:30. 50 MINUTES to get into a room!! And the whole time the clerk was saying how long she had been working and how tired she was. Worst check in ever! I tried to call to complain, but no one answered the listed number for the hotel. I’m all for showing grace to struggling employees, but the reason you’re there is for tired travelers, not to exhaust them more.

Didn’t like the 100$ deposit I got back after the trip was over. Expedia did not mention the deposit. Easy parking to outside rooms. Clean and good AC and comfortable beds. Area surrounding kind of run down but that’s with every hotel in the area. Big open rooms with tile flooring. Ex large bathroom but water pressure low. Near Walmart and has fast food options close by. Nice lady at check in.

I didn't actually stay as the property rejected my reservation. I was told upon arrival that thwy do not accept locals (within 50 miles) so my kids and I were turned away. This policy was not posted anywhere for me to see when making the reservation the day before AND i input the same address on my reservation as was on my drivera license so they knew a day in advance and didnt say anything until my kids and I came to check in. This is terrible business practice and I will always warn people against staying there in the future.

I didn’t appreciate the reception grilling. I was told that “everybody says they have a disabled wife” when I asked for a ground floor room. We were later asked if “we had a cat in there”. I’m allergic to cats, of course we didn’t have any animals in our room.

The hotel was in a difficult area to get to. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. The only thing I did not like was that the doors are outside not inside in a hallway. I did not feel safe; thankfully I was upstairs.

Very Close to freeway but very poor access road to hotel. Surprisingly front desk staff had no knowledge about the Hot Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque, although they were advertising the event! I think the chef did not know that oat needs to be cooked, not just immersed in hot water. Not bad for a days stay, clean and spacious.

The SureStay is just off the highway and very near El Malpais National Monument, the Sandstone Bluffs, El Morro "Inscription Rock" National Monument and the Bandera Volcano and Ice Cave. It's a great place to relax for awhile.

Terrible hotel. Dirty! Fridge didn't work. Booked online and no mention of an additional $100 deposit required. Stains on mattress and comforter, noted when checking for bed bugs. Floor was dirty. Noisy pipes. It may be one of the worst hotels I have encountered. Breakfast was terrible. Wasn't cheap in price either. I can not recommend this hotel, photos must be photoshopped.

Everything about the hotel was great except the breakfast had no protein and there was only 2 bananas set out. The first two customers took them. The biscuits were cold. Me and my family was in the dining area at 06:00 . For those who showed up much later your breakfast was very limited. Otherwise all was fine.

I was able to get a last minute reservation. I was treated well, the room was very clean, noise from the freeway and railroad was minimal if any. I would recommend staying here. If you think the breakfast is a little weak, across the parking lot is decent Denny's!
