Overall cute hotel. Room could use some fixing up. The interior saftey latch to the door was missing two screws and was loose. The exterior window lock was not super secure, the window opened up enough with the lock "locked" to stick hand through. The ground floor had a damp type of smell. The other floors seem nice though. Has breakfast and a gym but gym has limited hours. Staff were nice. Bed was comfortable. TV cable had bad connection and image was pixelated.

Nice for a quick stay. Convenient for an overnight visit. Road noise may keep some awake but otherwise a good place to stay. Very clean and well decorated. Great fitness room. Comfy bed and pillows. Keurig coffee in the room. Good free breakfast. Free shuttle all day to The Plaza. Would definitely stay again!

I enjoyed the breakfast items offered, particularly the breakfast burritos. The hotel offered laundry facilities which made it easy to do laundry - download the app for convenience. Staff were friendly and helpful. The shuttle van is a great amenity and conveniently drops you off at Santa Fe Plaza and picks you up when you call for the return. The hotel gives you great value for the price. What I really liked is the artwork, especially in the lobby. Stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed it.

It was great to have the opportunity to do our laundry. We had a clean room with comfortable beds and nice hot shower. But the breakfast burritos were the stand-out here!

A beautiful property and well kept unfortunately there was no swimming pool or hot tub on premise. I don't know if I would stay here again because I enjoy a swimming pool and hot tub after a long hot day of touring and dining.

Construction or renovation is going on and with it the noise and the dirt.

The motel was very well kept with modern colors. The breakfast area and menu was very nice and plentiful. The free shuttle service was a nice feature to take you to the Old Town area.

Good low-budget motel with a very nice lobby, AOK rooms, ample parking, and good breakfast burritos. Be aware that they allow dogs. We're fine with dogs, and the rules are that the owner is supposed to stay with the dog, however some owners do not, which can result in a dog barking across the hall unabated. We had this problem on one of our three nights.

I have never stayed in a hotel room this dirty. Pet food kibble and hair all over the bathroom. Stained towels and bedsheets. Luckily I was only there 1 night.

The rooms were clean. Hotel staff were nice. Breakfast service was good.

The floor of the bathroom was very sticky. The bathtub was very old and showed signs of wear. One bed had fitted sheets that worked well, the other bed had sheets on it that were ill-fitting and kept coming off. We did not eat breakfast there. The staff was very friendly and check-in was easy and quick.

This hotel is fantastic! It’s spotlessly clean and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.

When we pulled the comforter back there was dried blood and hair all over one bed. The second bed was also covered in hair and there were dirty shoe prints on the sheets. My parents were in the room next door and they had the same issue. The bedding was dirty from the previous guests. Although at first glance the rooms appear to be put together, no cleaning actually takes place.

Stay away from this trash property! Old ! horrible service ! Dirty and smells like somebody smoking next to you. Be prepare to hear dogs barks the whole night since it’s pets friendly and the walls are paper thin. When we just came to our room - we saw some hair on pillows and beddings and we asked to change it and how come it happened and the front desk person was so rude and told us that its Not a big deal and probably it’s because the cleaning ladies are with long hair.. Unbelievable! Second we asked for cleaning services since we stayed 3 nights and they never came to clean up or bring new towels or throw away the garbage and when we asked them why? We told that they just forgot.

The breakfast burritos were excellent! Overall the hotel was clean, all staff was friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend as an affordable, comfortable place to stay in Santa Fe.

There was stains on mainly everything. The towels, sheets, and one of the beds and bed sheets weren’t even washed. The front desk guy was rude. The breakfast was pretty good but the area was unkept and unclean. When we walked in the room there was a weird smell.

I wanted to like this hotel The lobby was clean and looked nice but our room had a bad smell, the garbage can in the bathroom was not emptied from a previous customer, the bathroom floor had not been cleaned there was hair all over floor, and mini fridge was not clean.

The bed was lumpy/uncomfortable, pillow cases were stained for two of the pillows, and the AC unit fan is super loud. It was difficult to sleep with the noise for some of us. One of us needed to work but internet is slow and keeps cutting out. We only needed it for checking email, writing article - not streaming - but even this was impossible. There were some down and out folks hanging out in the parking lot when we arrived and when we returned from dinner... no issues for us, but might be a concern for others.

Hotel is a little outdated and you can definitely hear people in the hallway. Other than that it was comfortable, clean, and the staff was courteous.

Room was fine a bit small but worked. The A/C was poor, took all night to cool off the small 200sq ft room.

Smallish rooms. Feels a little worn down, but with the lights out you don't notice. And the bed was very comfortable.

The room was rather small with only 1 chair. There was 2 of us so made it uncomfortable. No decaf coffee in the room or at breakfast. The burritos were good. The bed was nice. Bathroom somewhat clean.

The front desk clear was very friendly and helpful! Our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable. The only issue we had was our room had an adjacent door to the next room and it was very noisy. Wish we could have partaken in the breakfast offered but we left prior to 7:00.

Two minor complaints. 1. No decaf coffee. 2. The room was very small and had no desk.

Loud floor above us, we were on ground floor, heard every step. The renter paced until 10 pm, then again at 3 am. Terrible night of sleep.

The room was very nice. Everything was remodeled. However the room was VERY noisy! So Noisy! The traffic from Cerrillos Road was unbearable but on top of that I could hear conversations going on in the other rooms. Not just next door ALL the way down the hall. Terrible. Also the coffee maker did not work.

The outside is rundown. The inside is cute enough. HOWEVER, we will NEVER EVER go here again. I would literally sleep in a car or on a park bench in a snow storm rather than staying here. There was no one at the front desk EVER. There were self-check in tablets. I got an error message and was trying again when a tall man with long stringy hair came up behind us without warning and angrily said, "I'll do it. That one doesn't work." Ok, so put a sign on it. I could see he was angry that he had to work, so I complimented his deep voice. He didn't even smile. He reeked of marijuana. I don't have a problem with the use of MJ and think it should be legal everywhere, but maybe not at work. We got to the room and the a/c was barely working. I figured it would cool off while we were at dinner, so we left it running and went to eat. When we got back and were walking to our room, the creepy and grumpy man suddenly stuck his head out of a completely dark room and said, "oh hi" and slammed the door. For 2 women traveling it was creepy! We hurried to our room and locked the door and it was still over 80 degrees in our room. Long story short, he refused to move us to a new room. He refused to say whether or not he would refund our stay so we could go somewhere with a/c. He called someone on his iphone who he said was the manager who began screaming at me and "you will sleep in the room tonight." We left and I called hotels.com the next morning.

The check in hostess last night was amazing and the room was clean and cozy would stay again 100 percent and would recommend this nice hotel any day

Saw a lump in the bottom left corner of the bed. Assumed it was just the comforter because of the continuous washing. Went to investigate and low and behold, it was a sock in the bed. Let the front desk know and was given new sheets. Why am I cleaning a room that should’ve been cleaned already. The next day I get a call and they’re asking me if I’m checking out today because they went in and saw our stuff still in the room. Mind you, I have this room for 4 days. Started stressing me out because I was an hour away from the hotel and I’m thinking we’re about to lose all of our belongings. I got charged $700+ when I checked in and when I checked out, they tried to charge me $300+ more. Where they do that at?? Asked for a call from the general manager and even threatened to bring the police up there because I felt like they were scamming me. Never got a call back from the manager til this day. Bathroom reeked of sewage odor and no extra tissue. We ran out on the first person to use the bathroom. There was no view of the mountains whatsoever. I’ve never had such bad service and as many problems in my life with a hotel EVVVVEEEERRRR!! Their communication with each other and myself was piss poor. Manager only handled business M-F because she’s off on the weekends. According to staff.

Check in after 6pm was impossible. No one was there to help. We ended up staying at a different hotel. Very inconvenient!

Comfortable bed, clean, Self check in, they had a young man tell you what to do and how to make your room key. I wondered, why doesn’t he just do all this? Good value, not fancy for sure.

The staff was awesome and the place very clean. Room was updated and felt incredibly comfortable. You can't beat this place, price or otherwise. The free breakfast was better than anything I have ever experienced at a hotel like this. Will most definitely stay here again!

Check-in was frustrating—when I arrived, the self-service kiosk said I needed staff assistance, but no one was at the front desk for about 20–25 minutes. Once I finally got checked in, the rest of the stay went relatively smoothly. The location was convenient enough for the activities my boyfriend and I planned over Labor Day weekend. However, when we requested fresh towels, the ones delivered were damp and unusable, which was disappointing.

This hotel is a good option for staying in Santa Fe, but not too close to the Plaza (approximately 7 miles away). The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. They have a complimentary light breakfast available. The staff was friendly and helped in recommending sights to see and restaurants.

Front desk people were very good. The room was quite small, without a desk. Otherwise, the bed was good, bathroom, clean. Location made it easy to get back on 25 towards Albuquerque.

The breakfast was outstanding--homemade breakfast burritos. They were absolutely delicious, Room was all updated nicely as was the lobby and hallways. Very happy with this hotel. Very good access to DT Santa Fe as well as to the interstate.

Excellent stay! Ample free parking, very easy check in/check out process, the woman at the front desk was so welcoming and helpful! Loved the decor and breakfast. Breakfast burritos and natural juices (they had other items as well) were delicious, coffee was great (we’re more picky). Location is super close to Meow Wolf and only a 15 min drive to downtown, and close to a lot of hiking.

Property looked a little run down and area around the property didn't look like the most super safe neighborhood to be out in at night but it was fine for our purpose. They had a great breakfast burrito breakfast on property! Worth the money we paid. =)

For the $90 price, I was very happy. Santa Fe can be pricy, but I found this hotel to be well priced while offering a safe and clean room. Room was certainly small, but clean! And the area there didn’t feel too sketchy (wouldn’t leave anything of value out, though). Staff was nice, room had nice decor, and all and all a good experience. If you are traveling to Santa Fe and are price conscious, I’d recommend Coyote South. Would stay again.

Convenient but area is a little sketchy with lits of traffic noise and many transients milling around the adjacent areas...staff is friendly, but the building needs updating.

This is a nice hotel for the price situated near Santa Fe downtown. It was quiet and well designed. Very clean and seemed like an old building newly renovated. Some rooms seemed to still be in the process of renovation but the room we had was clean and quiet.The art on the inside and the adobe interior were lovely. The staff was quiet, and polite. There was also complimentary breakfast!

Nice room. The shower seemed to leak from the ceiling by the light. I thought breakfast burrittos where included as free breakfast instead of additional $10 charge.

I had a great time at this hotel. Good design led and quiet room. It helps to recover my energy. Especially after 7 hours of driving I need to take rest. This hotel worked. The breakfast burrito was tasty. Thank you for your hospitality.

Pros: Convenient location. Clean property but they are remodeling. Room clean. Beds comfortable . Cons: Breakfast burritos were a nice touch for breakfast but does not make $10 surcharge worth it for me. I would rather a true continental breakfast or buffet like other hotels have with no additional charge. The rooms that breakfast are served in seemed unclean...carpeted rooms ..not enough room for everyone to sit. Also first come, first serve. 2 of the days I stayed they had no yogurt left when I arrived. Most disappointing was that there was no where for our group to gather. No tables in rooms. No table in lobby. Cannot access breakfast room outside of breakfast hours. I would recommend this hotel for somewhere to sleep.

Easy the check in, cozy rooms, delish breakfast, and lovely concept hotel. Really enjoyed our stay.
