Had a business trip that was right across the street so huge win! Staff was outstanding! Had issue with AC, repair person arrived in less than 5 min. Hot water was arguably the fastest to come online I have ever experienced. Room is small but full amenities (free water, slippers, robes, etc). AND.. breakfast was included and was actually on par with any hotel continental breakfast. No gym, no pool, other than that, can’t recommend this place highly enough!!

A cute boutique hotel right near Times Square. It is amazingly quiet considering the location. Staff were all friendly and helpful. I like that they include breakfast in the resort fee and have snacks available in the lounge all day long. Very good price for the location as well. It's an old building with a few quirks, such as a half-sized elevator and a very steep staircase, but I found this added to its charm.

Casablanca is a great property, super convenient location with very affordable parking garage located right next door! It's a gem!! Staff are all so welcoming, helpful, the property is clean, and the 2nd floor has a great cafe was free pastries and drinks available all day! We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

A perfect stay in New York City from the moment we arrived. Convenient parking garage right next door with hotel validation provided a nice savings. The friendly staff greeted us and were so helpful to us throughout our stay. We enjoyed our breakfast by the fireplace each morning. The hotel’s location is perfect to see a broadway show and enjoy Times Square. We will definitely be back!

Just steps away from Time Square but a quiet place to stay. I loved having a ceiling fan. The hotel is quaint. It is on the darker side but I liked coming off of Broadway into a quiet retreat. The second floor snacks were a plus along with Breakfast. And getting a discount on parking right beside the hotel was also a great deal. (But parking garage did up charge us $12 for a SUV) I would stay again.

My wife and I stayed at the Casablanca Hotel for 3 nights. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was extremely clean from top to bottom and it's location is steps away from Time Square. The bed was extremely comfortable and they provided a sound machine in the room that completely drowned out any city noise that may make sleeping difficult. Overall, we would absolutely stay at the Casablanca the next time we visit NYC. On the negative side, the carpets and rooms furnishings are very dated and in need of being replaced. Everything was extremely clean, just outdated. For example the rugs in the room had several areas where the wall to wall carpet didn't sit flat on the floor. At the time of our stay only 1 elevator worked and it was very old, slow and extremely small. 4 people max with any type of luggage. Finally the Casablanca offers a car service that is advertised to be a luxury car service such as a Towncar that will have the driver waiting for you at the airport with a sign in hand with your name on it. It was my wife's 50th birthday so I decided to go with the car service which was a $160. We had to call to get the driver to meet us and the driver arrived in Kia SUV. Absolutely nothing wrong with a Kia, but it was not the luxury car that was advertised. I priced an UBER and it was almost half the cost of this car service and people that we were waiting with that ordered Ubers were picked up before we were.

Staff were some of the friendliest New Yorkers I’ve ever met. They even let us hold our bags there with early arrival and after check out until we needed to leave for home. Hotel was clean, nice, quiet, and rooms were well sized. We loved how close it was to Times Square, literally less than 1/4 block to it! Next time we go to NYC, I will for sure be checking their availability.

I really liked the Casablanca as the staff is wonderful and the hotel is so little so it is easy to get to the street. The decor however needs upgrading. We had a king size bed and the room was large enough with a lovely bathroom. The rug however has seen better days in the room as well as the hallways. Perhaps replace the decorative cushions in the rooms as well as there are just darn old.

Hotel is older however it is SUPER clean. The LOCATION is PERFECTION!!! It literally took me 75 strides to be where the New Years Eve ball drops. Casablanca is directly next door to Tony Di Napoli's and right across the street from the broadway show "& Juliet". It is 2 short blocks from the subway station. Very walkable to Central Park. Will definitely stay again

I like that the noise at night was limited and location was very convenient. The staff was exceptional! Friendly and helpful throughout both days. I usually don’t ask for much, but definitely ask the staff if you need anything. For the price you pay, the bed was very uncomfortable, the bath towels were extremely rough, breakfast options were limited. I expected this to be a home run and it was a single maybe double at best. Also, the parking was supposed to be 30$ a night and they up-charged for SUV. I’m not sure if that was in hotels fine print but I was surprised. I would try somewhere else next time.

We stayed in a room with 2 queens and for NYC it was well sized for our family of 4. The beds are comfortable, the AC keep us cool and the shower had plenty of hot water and pressure. Breakfast and snacks were an excellent addition to staying here. Very close to Times Square but quiet to get a good nights sleep. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will return to The Casablanca in the future.

The location is absolutely amazing and the staff was very helpful. It has a nice common area for complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and snacks. We were are to get the tub that we requested in our room. The only thing that was unexpected was this is a much older hotel and runs on radiator heating. The staff provided space heaters to help make the comfort of the room more manageable.

This hotel is in the heart of Times Square. If you're in NYC in order to go to see Broadway shows, then other than camping out in the theater itself you're not going to be able to get any closer. Harry Potter: 5 minute walk. Kimberly Akimbo: 3 minute walk. Here Lies Love: 10 minute walk. "& Juliet" 30 second walk. Times Square subway: 2 minute walk. We flew into Newark and took the Newark Express which is run by Coach USA. For $35 _round trip_, it took us 1h to get from Newark to Bryant Park (and then about a 3m walk to get to the hotel). On the way back (Saturday morning at 7:30A), it was 25m bus ride. The breakfast which was provided was coffee, tea, espresso, and various waters and sodas. There was fresh fruit, packaged cereal, hardboiled eggs and pastries / bagels. That's the good stuff. Here's the rest: We were in Room 308. I don't know if the other rooms in the hotel are the same way, but it's an old property. The bathroom is modern, but the toilet is literally against a support structure; I'm only 6 feet tall, but I had to sit either "side saddle" or "wide stance" so that my knees wouldn't hit the wall in front of me! Granted, you don't spend too much time on the toilet, but it was still odd. Staff was gracious, and was always opening the door, greeting us, etc.

The 2nd floor lounge and continental breakfast rooms are lovely and a true gem. While the guest room was fairly small and a bit dark (I was on the back of the building — no view but very quiet), the availability of the lounge more than made up for that. And the staff is outstanding. Best I’ve encountered at any New York hotel.

The staff were all exceptional, friendly, helpful and welcoming. It was not our first stay here and this visit was amazing as well. We will be back.

Our stay at the Casablanca was fabulous. Location is great, hotel is clean and charming, but the best part of this hotel is the staff! Every person we interacted with was so nice and helpful. This hotel really caters to their guests. I’ve stayed many places in NYC and always like to try somewhere new each time, but this will be my go to in Manhattan. One of my favorite hotel experiences anywhere thanks to the Casablanca team!

First the service is impeccable. "Welcome home" were the first words we heard once we checked in. The staff simply could not be more outstanding. We received prompt, helpful and courteous attention with each request that we made. Second, the hotel is quiet and serene, despite the fact that it is right at Times Square! My only "complaint"--not really a complaint but more a style issue--is that the hotel is very traditional in decor. My sister loved it and I liked it. All in all, this hotel cannot be topped for the location, service and serenity. -Karen Armstrong

This was one of the best hotels we have stayed at. The hotel was so cozy and the staff was excellent. The location was very central to all the places we visited during our stay and even though you are right next to Times Square once you get into the hotel and your room it was peaceful and quiet. Would highly recommend this property.

Casablanca hotel was definitely one of the best hotels that I have stayed at. Very welcoming and everything about the hotel was amazing. It was close to Broadway and easy to get to wherever else we need to go in New York City.

Hotel is older however it is SUPER clean. The LOCATION is PERFECTION!!! It literally took me 75 strides to be where the New Years Eve ball drops. Casablanca is directly next door to Tony Di Napoli's and right across the street from the broadway show "& Juliet". It is 2 short blocks from the subway station. Very walkable to Central Park. Will definitely stay again

Located right by Times Square and all the theatres we were attending. Food in the area is a bit expensive but hotel provided both breakfast and snacks 24/7 in case you didn’t want to eat as many restaurant meals. We walked to Central Park and took the subway to World TradeCemter.

Super staff, great central location, simple buffet breakfast with good options. Lovely to have Ricks cafe (more of a lounge really), to relax in at any time of day with coffee and water on tap! Thank you Hotel Casablanca and hope to return soon.

Loved this small boutique hotel a half a block from Times Square. Quiet and comfortable with excellent friendly staff. Great continental breakfast and snacks (24/7). Bathrooms are HUGE for NYC. Will definitely stay here again!

This is an excellent small hotel in a very convenient location for theater. The staff is outstanding and the 2nd floor lounge with 24 hour coffee/beverage and snack service is lovely as is the Continental breakfast with very generous hours (7 to 10:30).

Stayed here for 3 nights in a king room and I loved everything about the hotel. As others have mentioned, the location was pretty much perfect, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and well-appointed. The buffet breakfast was quite carb-heavy (bagles, pastries, cereal) but everything was fresh and I never left hungry. I would happily stay here again.

This hotel was in a good location for what I wanted to do in NYC and I saw it had great reviews so I gave it a try. My wife and I were very happy with our stay there. There is a subway station in close proximity from both directions when exiting the hotel. We used the Bryant street location (maybe a 5 minute walk) but Times Square subway entrances must also be very close. This hotel is also very close to Times Square but without being caught up in the foot traffic and shenanigans you’ll see as you walk further into Times Square. So it’s easily avoided or easy to join in on. Inside was also very welcoming and clean. I like that it feels like a real building with welcoming spaces, not a compact high rise that’s just a lobby box that leads to an elevator that takes you to your small room box which is how many of the hotels feel. The lounge area is very comfy and welcoming. Snacks and easy to grab water/coffee is always a huge plus. I think the complimentary breakfast is very basic but hey it’s complimentary. There was fruit, bagels, cereal, hardboiled eggs, pastries….plenty of options. The space is too nice for a messy breakfast buffet anyways. Keep it simple. We stayed in a “petite” queen room. Twas lovely. Big enough space for me. Bathroom was small but maybe that’s a petite room thing. Super nice small bathroom though ;-) Also great check-in check-out times. AND a deal for parking with the neighboring parking garage!

The location was perfect! We had a great experience, couldn't believe how quiet the rooms were The only downside was the window A/C unit was obnoxious but very effective. The staff for breakfast remembered our preferences and we're very accommodating. This may be the place we stay for all of our future trips to NYC.

It’s a GREAT location if u are visiting Broadway or Times Square! It’s very quiet considering you’re just steps away from the crowded Times Square. You will have a good night’s sleep and feel rested the next day due to sound proofed rooms - can barely hear police or ambulance sirens going off. No bachelors or bridal parties allowed. Robes and single-use slippers are provided. They have complimentary refreshments and continental breakfast, as well as 24/7 coffee bar with fruit and pastries provided. Highly recommended!!! Will definitely go back. Just one important info - there is no fridge.
