I think it needs to be well noted in the advertising that there is no elevator! I can’t figure out how they get away without one and be in compliance with NYS laws regarding handicapped accessibility. Otherwise it was all good.

Clean room. The place is showing some wear, I don’t mind that as long as they keep it clean and the Corning Inn did a good job in that department. They were accommodating for us as well, which I appreciated. They had originally put us in a 2nd floor room (no elevator) but upon seeing my son was disabled, moved us to a first floor room, despite them being fully booked that weekend.

During the check we barely understood the man. In one room the shower was dripping all the time, in another room there was a plastic cup in the niagara of the toilet which prevented it filling up with water. There was no elevator, so had to carry suitcases up to second floor.

This hotel was affordable. The room needed repair, had stains and a deep cleaning would help. Had to reset the tv to get the cable to work. Lights on exterior were not working and the exterior door was often unlocked. Two days of the six day stay they failed to clean our room. Starting to go down in quality compared to previous visits.

Nice basic hotel. Very clean, easy on and off of 86. Nice staff. Wish they had more secure locks on door, they have a dead bolt but that’s it, I like that second plate option too. But no problems there at all.

Everything was very clean, no off smells. Parking was plentiful. Close to places to eat and a short drive to Corning. Easy to access room. I would most definitely stay there again. Sorry to say that we didn't have time to explore the area or shop as it looked like a nice place.

Had a room reserved. Got here and had to wait 15 minutes to check in pushed the ring button and even called the front desk still now answer . I then starting calling out and a man finally came out . You can tell he just woke up . He was sleeping. Took us waiting for over 15 mins in the lobby to check in. The room had hair all over the bathroom floor and tub, the bed has stuff all over the bed ruffle (food ). Floors can be vacuumed better.

When my cousin and I got to the room it looked clean- nothing fancy- what you would expect for a small hotel upstate- but I woke up to BEDBUG BITES on my leg under my collar bone and behind my jaw- I pulled the sheets and found a bedbug- and I saw the cleaning lady she let us put our clothes and bags into the hotel dryer on high for 30 minutes to kill them and she also gave us a spray bottle with alcohol to spray down anything else- we took showers and waited in towels for the timer to go off for the dryer. During that time we saw another bug crawl out from between the mattresses. It was a scary experience and so scared of bringing these bugs home! The cleaning lady was nice but it’s the next day and I have about 20 bites on my body and they are about 50 times more itchy than a mosquito bite!

The lamp shade in the room was cracked and in poor shape. The plug underneath the desk was falling out of the wall. Bed was comfortable and clean. Bathroom acceptable. Internet did not work at all despite three of us trying repeatedly .

Hotel is good for the money. There was a big truck parked 20ft away from our window and he started it at 5.55am and idled it for 15 mins before leaving waking everyone up. If you want to sleep look for a room away from parked trucks or maybe property should not allow this parking. Hotel guy did appologize for it, but what good is that to me?

Hotel was the same as previous stays, with the added benefit of breakfast. Only complaint was the internet which was fine when there were fewer guests, but unavailable on Friday and Saturday nights when higher occupancy. Staff said working fine, but not able to get on internet with any of 2 laptops, and 2 tablets - so problem was with system, not our equipment.

Pros: Decent price, good location near stores and gas stations, plenty of parking, A/C worked well, fridge kept food very cold, microwave was good, hot water in the shower, couch in the room with a mini table, working ice machine, wifi was decent Cons: Room in need of repairs & looked like a DIY project, sink is not connected to counter, toilet wobbles, shower water pressure goes in and out randomly, room keys completely stopped working on the second to last day, nobody is ever at the front desk, you hear EVERYTHING from above you and in the hallway, window on ground floor has no way to lock it and the screen was bent like someone tried to break in, bed is on a metal frame that screeches loudly when getting on/off, SPIDER COLONY in our room which we killed most of, someone stole our "do not disturb" sign, old furniture stacked in the hallways & in parking lot

The room was clean and quiet. I was a little surprised that there was no "chain" type lock on the inside. The room was in a little disrepair. One receptacle box was hanging out of the wall. Both the sink and shower needed the fixtures replaced as the water would barely come out and sprayed in all directions. The water was very hard so I assume the faucets were clogged. Nothing worse than struggling through a shower to ruin your stay.

I thought it was a nice place but I wouldn't go there alone as a woman. Was woken by staff at 1am banging on door multiple times and when I asked why they had no answer. Felt so uncomfortable and unsafe that I left in the middle of the night. Would not recommend.

Your frint desk girl was rude wuth an attitude, going up stairs to room the stairs snelled got into a non smoking room and there were burn holes in the blanket, called front desk to tell them so blanket would be changed out so they wouldnt charge me for it thinking i smoked in the room. Will not stay there again bc of the rude young girl at front desk

It took 10 minutes for the front desk staff to wake up and come over to counter to check me in. I understand it was late, but they list that they are open 24/7, I called ahead to confirm my arrival time, and was told that time was alright. They have a phone that you call "0" and it rings in the office. That phone rang for 10 minutes. I\'ll lesve the rest of my experience out, because yeah.

I had a good stay here. It was bare-bones but as two female travelers we felt safe the entire time. Good place if youre on a budget and only need to stay somewhere for a couple nights. It was 30 mins from Watkins Glen which was perfect for our trip.

Stayed for a one night overnight trip to WGI. Hotel is clean, great neighborhood with lots around, and easy to get to. Exterior doors require a card to get in which is an added bonus. Will stay again.
