Clarion Hotel & Conference Center Ronkonkoma MacArthur Airport

This has to be one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. Honestly when we drove into the parking lot we thought the property was getting ready to be demolished. The paint was chipping off the outside walls. The parking lot had trash and potholes everywhere. The front lobby is in need of an update also. Lights off everything dark. The carpet was worn and smelled very musty and old. We were put in a room on the second floor with no elevator. The access door never locked at night so there was no security. The room is in desperate need of an upgrade. The sink never shut off. The shower was dated with soap dishes almost about to fall of the wall. TV is older with limited channels. Went to the front desk to get more towels because room service never came to at least make the bed. As soon as we got back to the room we were greeted by an employee saying he needed my dirty towels that were in my room. He told me he needed the same amount of towels that were given to me. I would save the headache of going here and drive a few miles up the road to a nicer hotel.

Very comfortable and very quiet!

This hotel was in serious need of revision . It represents Long Island badly ! I was extremely dissatisfied in the loss in quality of the physical space ie hallways, doors, walls . I am a professional person and my stay here felt as if o spent the night in cell block 13 . The lighting was poor , it was dark and gloomy . Old refrigerator and heating A/C unit were loud and kept me awake . There was clearly the scent of lingering cigerette smoking in the room . I asked if there was a second floor in a different part of the hotel , I was told no , however there was a second floor . All around the quality of this ‘hotel’ was that of a 1 star motel. Truly awful !

Room was clean, Good parking Staff very servicial

Parking lot is full of potholes.
