Staff was wonderful Jen on the front desk was friendly always said have a good night as you walked by. Breakfast was good rooms were clean pool was nice

The pool should be heated. The water was cold which made my son got the flu.

How about an indoor pool, workout room and a full breakfast? Nice. The furnishings are a bit warn, but the staff was so helpful, the a/c was wonderfully quiet as was our room. A nice diner was just a short drive away, too. I would come back again.

This place is our gem when we have to travel here. Yes, it is outdated. However, I do not need the Taj Mahal for my stays. It’s really clean and quiet. Breakfast is fantastic! Staff are friendly. Pool and gym equipment are a plus! I love my stays here!

Smelled moldy, musty, and mildewy. No elevator, nothing ADA compliant. No hottub pool freezing even though advertised as heated.

No elevator-I requested a ground floor room and the nice young lady gave an upgrade to a larger room on the bottom floor. Comfortable, spacious, clean. Breakfast very good and plentiful. I would return if I am in the area in the future.

Probably the best hotel I have stayed at in this price category. Super friendly evening receptioninst, nice breakfast (even waffles), the pool was sufficiently warm to enjoy and play around with my child (often with low-usage pools like this, it's too cold). Perhaps most importantly, no busy roads and no elevators, so it was quiet!

Had a room near the center staircase leading to parking in the back and not a lot of traffic. Hot and cold food options were good, Bed was comfortable. Everything worked in the room. Furniture in room was old and dated. Desk was warped and there was a crack in one of the legs. Lamps were dingy yellow. Plenty of parking.

Absolutely awful! Booked two rooms, one for my wife and I and another for a friend and her son. The rooms smelled like ashtrays upon entry and once we turned on the AC it began smelling musty and mildewy. The floor in our room was so dirty the bottom of my socks were black. When my friend called the front desk to say the room smelled so bad they couldn’t sleep nothing was done and they basically shrugged it off. Will NEVER stay here again. This place doesn’t deserve the one star I gave it.

The staff were nice and friendly. The room was cleaned every day, beds made, and towels replaced. The building itself had a strong scent. It didn't smell bad, but it was too strong and made my nose numb. It almost felt like you could taste the smell in your mouth. The worst part was the room. It smelled moldy and humid. When you lowered the room temperature, the smell was tolerable, but once you put it around 70, the smell became unbearable. We were sleeping under the sheet to cover our noses for the night. We guessed the AC air filter needs to be changed because that's where the smell was mainly coming from. The building itself looks old, especially since there's no elevator. So the smell might not entirely be due to the air filter. The carpets weren't the cleanest either. The sudden change in air quality, going from an overly strong scent to a moldy, pungent odor, was terrible. If you have a sensitive nose, then this definitely isn't the place for you. We didn't ask for a new room because we were only staying for 3 nights, and we didn't spend a lot of time in the room. Also, I don't think the other rooms would smell any better since they're still in the same building with the same utilities. If you're someone who enjoys lounging around in your room, then definitely book somewhere else.

Not a great place to stay with kids, room was dirty, old and smells Like smoke. The pool was dirty kids couldn’t swim,even the filter was not on.

Parking was great and overall the hotel for the price was clean. A/C and heat both worked, shower was a bit iffy with the shower head going in and out of the wall. But we were here to visit family so we didn't spend a ton of time in the room. The double rooms are actually quite small for an older hotel.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean but needed painting. Deodorizer smell was terrible.

I’ve stayed at many hotels and this was one of the worst condition wise The desk in our room was barely being held together the air system was so old you couldn’t even read the dials the chair had legs that were bending so didn’t want to use it the dresser had a door ripped off and hadn’t been dusted in forever and then the tv turned on randomly throughout the night we had to unplug it

I chose this hotel based on the price, location, and amenities. Pros: warm pool, decent breakfast selection, extra friendly staff, great price, free internet, decent cable selection, free parking, decent weight room facilities Cons: rooms need some TLC (wear and tear on some fixtures and furniture), weight room facilities in the same room as washers and dryers, no elevator, the walls are thin (can hear neighbors conversations) I would stay here again.

While this is an older property, it was updated beautifully. My room was huge.AC WAS CILD! NICE! Breakfast was good and included. Cleanliness was excellent! Price was the best!

Hotel is outdated but has all of your basic needs (comfy bed, clean sheets and towels, fridge, ok breakfast spread) which was all that I asked. We had to be in this specific area for a JR sport tournament. I would likely not stay here again if there were better options in the area.

Overbooked hotel so my reserved room was gone upon check-in. Room had a bad lingering smell of fast food. Attempts to air out the room didn’t work. Smoke alarm kept beeping all night since the front desk didn’t have batteries to replace it. Late checkout request went ignored as cleaning staff pounded on our door 10 minutes before normal checkout.

Staff was kind and accommodating. I left my watch. When I realized I was already on the highway. I called the first front desk the staff member informed me that the cleaning department had already returned the watch to the front desk. Honesty it’s rare and nice to see. I am also a travel nurse so I get off at 7 AM. Staff was accommodating, which I appreciate it very much.

Great service

My rental car was not available and I couldn't get to Albany. It was non refundable. I asked for a credit to use the same value in the future (not get a refund) and they flat out said no. Most hotels with work with you when there is an event beyond your control. For example, The Homewood Suites in Mahwah, NJ once gave me a credit because my car was in an accident and I couldn't travel and the Days Inn near Winston Salem, NC gave me a credit because of the flooding last September and we could only stay for one instead of two nights. These guys had no sympathy and therefore I have none for them

Was not able to stay at this hotel because I did not have the $250 deposit to be able to stay. I also wasn't able to get a refund back on my money. So they kept my $101 and I wasn't able to stay at the hotel. I will never be staying at this hotel again

This is my second stay at the Quality Inn. It is a very affordable, clean option in Schenectady with amenities such as full breakfast, pool, etc. The customer service was exceptional. Jenn at the Front Desk was helpful with providing all the pertinent hotel information and information about the surrounding area. She gave us a great restaurant recommendation. I would stay here again, as well as refer friends and family.

My stay there was nice. Was quiet and in convenient for my stay.

Nice and close to Saratoga Spring for the concert we were going to. Breakfast bar was awesome ! If in the area would stay there again

This I came to see family. The hotel is conveniently located near the thruway, near shopping and plenty of places to eat.

The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly, and housekeepers would accommodate service requests. The Italian restaurant next door was fine, and the Chinese food across the street was great. Two excellent dining options. Chinese was a take-out option, although there were two tables inside if you preferred to dine in. Stewart's a 7-11 style store is walking distance, along with a 24-hour laundromat if needed. Highway 890 to 90 or 87 is 4 minutes from hotel

This was my second stay. While the motel could use a few upgrades (elevator, automatic doors), I like the location, price, and amenities. The true jewel is the helpful staff.

Nice motel and friendly staff. It was hard to find in the dark/nighttime, as it is located in a residential neighborhood, not near a lot of other motels/restaurants.

Had a very nice time enjoyed my stay only thing is I wish that the breakfast food it was some way to keep it warmer cuz time I got down there and food was cold

This hotel is on the older side, (38 years old), but it has most of the amenities one wants in a budget hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. In our room there was a microwave, and mini fridge with a freezer. Be sure to bring your USB C adapter for your devices because there aren’t any USB ports, just regular outlets. The entryway and bathroom have sensor lights which I found helpful. There is an Italian restaurant next to the hotel, but it’s closed on Sunday and Monday so plan accordingly. The warm breakfast is good. They serve scrambled eggs, home fries and bacon. As well as cereal, breads, yogurt and make your own waffles. The tv had plenty of channels to choose from. I recommend staying here if you need a quick place to sleep and relax.

Pool was very nice, staff was kind and helpful. Our room was clean, breakfast was not great but wasn't expecting much. The restaurant next door was wonderful, love that it was in walking distance.
