Check in was super quick and easy. Room was clean and they were quick to provide extra pillows and towels when asked. The lobby smelled good and was overall clean. The pool area was a little rough. All the umbrellas were broken and quite a bit of missing tile and overgrown plants around the property. Bedding was clean and the hotel was quiet. There was no fan in the bathroom so the room got very hot when we were getting showers. I would consider this hotel again.

I like the Hyatt Place properties having positive experiences from a Northern Ohio location. This Cincinnati area property left me unimpressed. First, the positives. My room was clean w fresh towels. The staff I encountered was friendly. I had no safety concerns with the hotel or surrounding area. Now the negatives. During check in, there was a significant wait, as the only clerk on duty was gathering fresh towels for another guest. Overall cleanliness in the common areas was only fair. There was debris on the floor in the lobby. The elevators were also clearly not regularly checked. When I exited the 2nd floor elevator at 10 PM, there were used napkins on a table in the elevator lobby. Those napkins were still there at 9AM the next morning. The breakfast was disappointing. There was not the usual selection. I don't think the "eggs" or "sausage" were real My breakfast ultimately consisted of toast and jam. There appears to be a staffing issue. There was a sign in the lobby stating the hotel was hiring front desk & housekeeping positions. I was very annoyed the bar closed at 10:00 PM on a Saturday night. What is the point. Other HP properties kept the bar open until midnight. Also, the hotel staff I encountered did not appear to wear uniforms. That did not bother me as much they did not even wear a badge to identify themselves as staff. My stay was fine, but just that. I doubt I will go back to this property anytime soon, though.

The cleaning crew was at night, so the vacuum was going off at 11:30pm the first night. Front desk told us no one one was staying above us so we were wrong. Next night we get back after 10:30pm and the cleaners are vacuuming the hallways and rooms so it was definitely the cleaners the night before too. The pool was green and full of algae so it was closed. The bathroom had a gap of two inches between the tub faucet and wall. It was a large round hole. So water was getting in the wall. Probably a ton of mold behind there. But the people were nice and the neighborhood was good so it was okay enough. Not super clean and breakfast was kind of gross. I would not stay again but it wasn’t awful…

The whole outdoor area by the pool and to get to the pool was ugly. The pool is clean, but the weeds that surround the pool patio are unmaintained, much like the whole back of the hotel. Also, they don't clean your room until the third or fourth day, unless you ask for it. We never once saw a maid's cart or anyone cleaning rooms.

I booked this for Cincinnati with it having like an eight or nine rating. I made sure there was an outdoor pool because I was Uber 16-year-old around Columbus and Cincinnati for a few days for my son‘s birthday and when my downtime I wanted to lay out the pool Well if I can submit a picture, you’ll see the green slime but they called an outdoor pool. Got over that went to take a shower that evening before dinner had to stand in my son‘s water from his previous shower and then mine turn off the water so it didn’t overflow And I have a picture of that. Went down for breakfast. Waited 30 some minutes still no coffee. There was one poor girl the same one at the desk that was trying to refill food and drinks for everybody never got my coffee. There was not enough food for everybody so we didn’t eat there we left the place was dirty. Unacceptable. I think I should expect at the least cleanliness and a cup of coffee when I’m paying $150 a night for a room.

This is a tough review because it’s a very nice property in a great location, but we were given a handicapped room with NO pull out sofa even though we booked one WITH a pullout because our son needed to sleep on it. Instead, he had to sleep on the couch and said it smelled like vomit. We also woke up to the bathroom floor covered in small black bugs crawling all over…I think they were ants, but it was gross. Hopefully the room we were supposed to have gotten would have been nice.

Bathroom door know broken. We got locked in every day. Cleaning was leaking in our room after a rainstorm. Bathroom dirty. Only 1 bed was made after room service on the first day. Lobby had water at the entrance after the rains.

People at the front desk were wonderful, and the hotel is nice, however, my experience was bad because my room was dirty. The beds were full of hair, we found a drink bottle on the floor, the soap holder was nasty and the room in general was dirty. We had to ask for new sheets. It’s bad that the cleanliness of the room ruined our whole experience.

No towels in pool, someone else told front desk she said she would send someone, they didn’t bring them the whole night. Gym was dirty also no towels. Leaking ceilings… my room I paid 353$ and my room smelled so bad of smoke, was old orange peels on the side of the bed so clearly it wasn’t cleaned. When I told the front desk that they said they would send house keeping. I should have been offered another room. Housekeeping never came. This hotel is not worth the money at all.

I hate writing bad reviews on people or places but this places burned me bad, I will never stay at a Hyatt again don’t care where, nope never again! I was disgusted. I notice a spell while walking up to our room- not a pleasant one at that. Our room had very noticeable shotty repairs done, touched up doors, walls and stained couch. Pull out couch had no sheets or bedding upon opening it up -there were very! Noticeable stains, I know it’s a hotel but I shouldn’t of seen that -bad cleaning and maid services. The closet door was off it’s hinges. Bathroom lights were missing the rims that cover the holes in the ceiling, there was mold in the shower, and door didn’t lock and door was from a camper and it was beaten up and and shotty repaired and painted. 6. Woke up and found droppings? Looked like little mouse pellets all over the sheet I had just slept in and my husband had a big one stuck to his back he found when he showered. -I thought we’ll the maid will clean in here and change the bedding. Came back to the room 7 hrs later still the same bedding and no cleaning had been done, I didn’t see a maid or something going to through rooms all day! I saw other guests besides our selves but no one cleaning anything! Waited longer and then my daughter! Started screaming because she has bugs crawling on her! Not kidding, little ants were everywhere found them in my purse and picked up the bag from the floor and there was a larger poop. I was done! None of it surprised the staff!

The staff is friendly, but the room is not updated and it was dirty. I had dirty towels and an unclean shower in my room. When I arrived for breakfast, breakfast was not setup yet because it seemed they were running behind, so my only options provided at breakfast were fruit and oatmeal. The hotel location is convenient for being close to restaurants and the highway.

The room was good-sized and we were able to spread out a little bit and didn't feel cramped, even with all our luggage. The air conditioner was kind of loud with a clicking sound, but really that was the only complaint. Breakfast was ok, not great, but the hotel was clean and quiet and those are more important qualities to us.

The building was very run down. The carpet was peeling away in our room, the toilet wouldn’t flush properly, the walls were paper thin and you could hear EVERYTHING next door. When the water would run in an adjacent room you could hear it through the walls also. The bathroom was extremely tiny, no room to move at all. The lobby was very nice but that was the only part of the building that seems to be kept up with.

We were doing a road trip and this hotel was 1 night of our stay. Before arriving I had called and talked to a front desk lady and informed her that we would be checking in late (we were driving 14 hours to make it there), she assured me that this would be no problem. Upon arriving the front desk person said that he wasn’t informed and had already charged me a no show fee. Then, he had me pay for a whole other room under the guise of it being my incidental fee…. It was not and my credit card statement shows this since incidentals fall off. I paid for this room TWICE because the person did not understand that I had already paid online before hand. Now I have to call and see if they will give me a refund considering I paid twice and only stayed in the hotel room for 6 hours….

We have stayed here before, and were very happy then, so we booked again and it has gone downhill so much! I was in my room alone and a man who was not staff knocked on my door and opened the door and came in , when He saw me apologized and left. Staff said they would look into this as it looked like a master key had been taken from the staff. They never got back to us on this! We felt uncomfortable being there after this incident and won't be back!

Overall room experience was very comfortable and clean checking in, but over a 3/night stay my room was not clean not once even after asking for my room to be cleaned. It was very disappointing for me to return late to the hotel and the room was not cleaned. In observing the amount of guests, it appeared to me, it was fully booked for my stay, which was the cause for the elevators running very slow and it was only two elevators.

Hotel room was clean. The main complaint I had was the toilet never stopped running and the wakman at the front desk when i checked in didn't really seem to know what she was doing. She kept trying to charge my card for the room stay even though i had already been charged. I had to show he my credit card statement and my receipt from hotels.com for her to stop. She tried to charge my card for the full stay 4 times before i was able to get her to stop. Thankfully i used a credit card and not my debit card or it would have ruined the entire trip. Other than that no problems with our stay.

Asked the front desk to have our room cleaned two different times and it wasn't done. The workout room was dirty and asked for disinfectant and it was never replaced. We have stayed at a lot of Hyatt and this one was less than stellar

I paid thru Hotels.com, but the hotel said they need to run my card. They then charged me two more times for the one night stay. I have called the hotel and they said a manager would call back. I will have my credit card company reverse the extra charges tomorrow if hotel management will not.

Pros were excellent location, room was clean, and price was reasonable. Cons were there was very little water pressure in shower, no housekeeping service unless you make a specific request, the hallway music was too loud at night despite requests to turn it down. We have stayed there on previous occasions and would probably do so again.

The establishment is centrally located and minutes away from eateries and shopping. The staff is professional and courteous. The rooms are spacious and tidy; however, it is time to check out the plumbing: the toilet pressure and shower drainage is slow. Overall, our stay was pleasant.

Don’t be fooled by the photos!! Breakfast was horrible, the floor we stayed on smelled horrible. Pool was freezing. And they charged about $100 less than we paid for our room. Such a disappointment.

For a cheap hotel, it was fine. The hotel was full the first two nights of our stay, with lots of kids, and the elevator noise in our room was very distracting. The kids were on the elevator constantly. We asked to switch rooms but could not. We tried several times. Communication from the staff about the exact time we had to come to the front desk to switch rooms was unclear. The last night of our stay the hotel was half empty and the elevator noise wasn't a problem. The breakfast consists entirely of packaged and re-heated foods. Nothing is cooked. Whatever they served called "eggs" didn't look or taste like eggs. The "pancakes" were cold and rubbery. The coffee was weak. We went out for breakfast and coffee elsewhere. I just expected better for this price. We clearly showed up during a very busy weekend filled with kids sports teams and the staff was overwhelmed.

We’ve stayed here from time to time and never have a bad experience. Room and lobby is clean, modern. Staff is friendly and accommodating. They added a dining menu that’s very minutes at this point but was a good start. Breakfast is the best. Worth the stay.

We had a great stay. Room was very nice and price was reasonable. Breakfast was good although it would be nice if they changed the menu every 2 or 3 days. The same thing every day got pretty boring. My only real complaint was ventilation. The vent in the bathroom was never on. The outside air setting on the ac/heat was completely closed. So no fresh air to room. All in all I would still recommend staying at this location. Staff was extra nice.
