Days Inn by Wyndham Cincinnati East

This place is very run down, especially the exterior. They claim to have a continental breakfasts, but the coffee you could see through & the only thing they had was cheap raisin muffins sitting in a bowl. The elevator shook & vibrated so bad you wondered if it was going to make it. When I close the bedroom door, you could still put your finger in the frame around it to the outside of the door. The wind howled through it all night. The bath & sink lights are on motion sensors, & went off while taking a shower, because of the switched being on the outside wall. When you come off the elevator at night there are no lights on in the breezeway & you walk through an unlighted tunnel. I picked this hotel out while at a rest area on the way north to Greater Cincinnati & made a big mistake!

No fridge or microwave! Tiny TV! Only Ice machine in the office which is convenient for hotel staff but very inconvenient for a guest who is on third floor (me)

To start with they advertise a pool but nope said they wasnt going to open it. No refrigerator or even a coffee maker. And how does a hotel not have towels was told they didnt have and and no wash clothes as well what an absolute disappointment of a place to stay. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! Some of the staff were friendly and some hate there job or people in general.

Rooms had been updated (poorly) but the facility itself is in rather bad shape and in need of repair. That said it was inexpensive and safe and for the most part comfortable. Abandoned Tavern attached to the building is an eyesore and quite a shame something isnt being done with it.

Staff was kind and polite but the hotel itself is in absolute shambles and brimming with cursed energy. The elevator gets stuck on any one of 3 total floors, one of the stairwells was “taped off” for whatever reason so mobility was a pain. Our first room had dirty water everywhere so they moved us, the second room had stained bedspreads and ants. We didn’t have a choice but to sleep there, so at least the beds were comfortable and the sheets felt clean. Also there was no free breakfast.

Room was very clean. Bed was ok for price. No microwave which was a let down. And the elevator was broken and I was on 3rd floor.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, the bath tub faucet hardly worked. I could not open the faucet because it was so old and should have been replaced years ago. My daughter had to pull out the faucet knob for me so I could take a shower. Towels were old and thin. No coffee maker in the room. The phone didn’t work when I tried calling down to reception area to complain. The elevator didn’t work the 4 days we stayed there. We had little sugar ants in our room. The complimentary breakfast was almost non existent. There was coffee and packaged muffins. That was it.

When I checked in to my 3rd floor room I was told the elevator was not working. I was forced to carry my luggage up and down two flights. My enetire stay was three days. There were tasks I wanted to do such as organizing my gear for a long camping trip that I was unable to do because of the elevator. The chair provided was perhaps the worst chair I have ever sat on. The bathroom fan was incredibly noisy. The shower was terrible: no shower liner and the provided curtain was much too large (the shower head and curtain pole are lower than normal, leaving the lower edge of the curtain in the middle of the tub). This is both dangerous and unsanitary. There was evidence of damage to the primary door, and the card reader was intermittent (causing at least one extra trip to the front desk and 2 flights of stairs up and down). This damage caused the door to sit crookedly in the frame. When the garbage truck passed close by I could smell it, and there was literally no protection from the highway road noise just a few yards away. There was also evidence of damage to the bathroom door. The bed was comfortable, although it was quite high off the floor. TV was ok but small, and no channel listings were available. The shower worked as did the mini fridge, but overall this was perhaps the worst hotel room and stay I have experienced. I also have video documentation.

The room lloked modern. Had a fridge but no microwave. The outside (curbside view) does not look well maintained. An awning skeleton archeover an entrance that has not been used in a long time.

The room was dirty. Upon checking in and getting to the room, the room smelled heavy of smoke. I specifically requested a non smoking room due to mine and my daughters asthma. The room also had a few flies or nats flying around and a couple bugs in the walls. When I smelled the room and saw the bugs I immediately left with my family.

Room had dead bugs in sink and on the floor. Someone also used the bathroom before us. Dirty disposable cups wrapped in plastic. Tv had lines threw it bedspread had holes.

Got to the hotel, the refrigerator was iced up and the door would not close. There were no shelves in the fridge. Moved the fridge to break up some of the ice and a dozen or more cockroaches scattered all over the wall. We told the front desk that we would be checking out the next day. After contacting all parties involved, neither the hotel nor Expedia would refund my money, which ultimately cost me an additional $ 1,100.00. I will never use Expedia again. I got the impression from the chats that I was somehow to blame for my family's inconvenience.

The room was dirty. There was hair all over in the tub. The bathroom walls, sink area walls, and toilet had mold. There were ants in the room. The floor was falling apart and dangerous. You had to slam the door very hard just to get it to latch. The bathroom doorknob didn’t work. You could see outside under the door. Great place if you just need a bed to crash in but that’s about it.

The hotel was not horrible but it was not good at all. Due to the smell in the bathroom, the grasshopper in the bathroom, the toilet barely flushing- I didn’t even feel comfortable showering there. There was little stuff all over the floors and baseboards, I’ve never seen that in a hotel before. It was also a non smoking room and there were MANY cigarette holes in the blanket… If you want to do nefarious things: this is a good hotel for you. If you’re just a girl trying to stay somewhere: this is NOT the hotel for you. Spend the extra 30-50 on a different hotel so you can actually feel comfortable being there.

My stay was very brief and disturbing! Not only does hot water not heat I went into the bathroom pulled the shower curtain back to reveal a dirty and giant dried blood stains inside the curtain I have picture proof

Dirty... The walls had some dried brown stuff on it. Bathroom floor had a dead bug next to the toilet.

It was very comfortable and quiet. The only problem I had was that there was no refrigerator or microwave, due to remodeling. There should be NEW ones there by now though, from what the staff told me. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel, and I will most likely return someday.

Good for the price.Dont expect anything fancy just the bare minimum.To all my gamers goodluck plugging in hdmi it took me a second but I got it.

The man at the desk was really nice. The room was extremely basic and didn’t even have a coffee pot. The lock on my door was a PAIN to operate. But the room was a good size and clean. Good location for my concert.

The room was pretty clean and the beds were clean but the floor was a bit dirty and the room had nates flying around and bugging us the entire four days. Also the toilet kept running then stopped working on second day which I fixed (the chain had come undone, nothing big) but it needs repair. There was no microwave in the room as advertised and only a continental breakfast provided. Though the beds were clean one didn't have a blanket and they were both very hard to sleep on. Not many amenities. Not the worst hotel but not as good as other Days Inn we have stayed at.

Room 230 where I stayed had flies in it. Moreoso, the bathrrom door and the entrance door were both very diffult to open, especually the bathroom door. The internet WIFI was extremely poor on the grounfloor and didn't work at all in my room (room 230). Enough towels were not provided in the bathroom. The management needs to urgently address those issues.

We have stayed here several times over the years. It’s low budget but the cleanliness, quiet (which is amazing since it’s right by the railroad and highway), breakfast offerings and friendly staff make it nicer than many pricier places I have stayed in. I always feel safe, too. Looking at it from the outside I would not necessarily understand how nice it is for a decent sleep during a road trip. Glad we found it.

The hotel is conveniently located next to the highway so some noise is expected. The room was large and clean, though the amenities were limited. No fridge in the room. The toilet seat wasn't stable (one anchor was broken). The wifi was terrible. Front desk staff were pleasant and there are many stores and restaurants nearby.

I enjoyed my stay. The room was great. My only dislike was that each of the people working the desk were disengaged and seemed bored. They should learn to be friendly and not seem brain dead.

The Lady who checked me out wasn't at the desk for 10 minutes. When I mentioned waiting 10 minutes, she said I was exagerting in a snotty tone. This lady was miserable, and very eager to show it! When I was eating my breakfast she told me to turn off my phone/TV even though nobody else was in there and the volume was low. The woman is toxic, and I'd never stay there again because of that person.

When I did the precheck-in online, everything was fine. The system didn’t say anything was wrong or anything. I drove 3 hours and 45 minutes to get to the hotel. I booked it because my daughter was receiving radiation treatment at Cincinnati children’s hospital and it was what I could afford. I got to the hotel and the man behind the desk refused to finish checking me in because my ID still has my married name and my debit card I had my maiden name on it. I was already charged for the room at this point. I offered to prove my identity another way, he refused. He called his manager, did not explain what was going on just said that I had two different names on my cards and what felt like incriminating me in front of the other people in the lobby. It was embarrassing. Than refused me a refund. Expedia was wonderful in helping me sort the issue out about my refund but unfortunately the damage has been done. I will never go back to this hotel because of this experience.

My check in was delayed. There were eleven people in the small lobby singing with a guitar. This took up most of the lobby area. The employee was participating.1-2 were in front of the entry door. Someone appeared to preach at one point. There was an ending prayer and what appeared to be fellowship afterwards. This is not welcoming to someone tired, wanting to simply check into their room. To check in, I would have to walk through the people singing and or praying. I waited in my car for thirty minutes. They were not off to the side of the lobby. From my car I could see and count eleven people. This was not professional and I wanted to cancel my stay. The room was updated. Clean enough. The accessible rooms don't have a closet.

air conditioner never worked. stated they would call the manager. never heard from them checked out the next day.left message for the manager to call me. haven't heard from management as of yet. Will never stay at a Days Inn again.

It was the easiest check-in I've EVER had, same with check-out. Room was a little dirty looking, I think it was clean, but it's a "live in" hotel, so stains & wear & tear were visible. I guess all in all it was an ok stay, for what we paid.

When we got there around 6:00 p.m. there was no one at the front desk, which isn’t that unusual for smaller motels. I stood there for 5-10 minutes rattling my keys every once in awhile hoping someone would hear us waiting. No luck. Finally we called the front desk phone which range very loudly for approximately 3 minutes before someone finally showed up. She couldn’t stop yawning while attempting to check us in. Place didn’t feel safe and while they had done some renovations it still just felt dirty. The air quality in our room and noise level all night was pretty bad. The shower made this loud screeching noise, too. Breakfast was a complete joke. Pre-packaged cellophane muffins, OJ, Apple juice, coffee and Lipton tea bags. Nothing else. For $200 per night, I expected something better than this!

I checked into the hotel. I took my key and went to my room and two people were in bed sleeping. I quickly left and went back to the front desk. The front desk clerk gave me another room. When I went into the room the bed was unmade with sheets on the floor, dirt towels on the floor, bottles on the floor and counter top. All the front desk staff said was "oh". I asked for a refund and went to another hotel.

I enjoyed being right off the freeway

Decent budget hotel. No frills. You get what you pay for and we just needed a room for a night. I275 is 2 red lights away so a quick on and off stop along the way of a long road trip.

I'm not a fan of rooms that open to the outdoors, but still felt safe at this location. Convenient to restaurants, stores, and the highway. Staff were nice.

I did not feel safe here!!! A lot of suspicious activity going on and it was a very overwhelming smell of marajuanna. Someone was even smoking it sitting on a lawn chair right outside their room door.

The musky smell was prevalent in the room and if you are not used to the sounds of a busy highway you are in trouble as it does not let up through the night. For the price it wasn't too bad but you are getting what you paid for.

This hotel was dirty! Its also old but anything can be old and clean. Room smelled of smoke, we ants everywhere, the bathroom smelled like urine really bad. BUT the beds were clean and the linen as well. Im not one to leave a bad review but housekeepers on staff with the right tools could make a huge difference. The pricing was great and its near several restaurants and the mall.

Lots of drug activity and super loud into the night. Staff was really nice but the heater was broken in my room.

It is what it is. Does it have all the bells, whistles and amenities? No. Is it cheap and convenience? Yes. Staff was awesome. Friendly and helpful!

This is an older property that they have obviously spent a lot of money remodeling and updating. You will still notice signs of it being an older property, but it is a good place to stay, at a good price. The parking lot was full, so that should give you some idea of what the regulars think of it. Don't expect a breakfast though. The muffins might not show up till after breakfast time is over. At this price point, it is a good place to stay.

Room was ok, could be a little bit more clean (used dental floss on floor), and a bathroom asks for a new tub (rusty), and a bathroom door very hard to close, and squeaks). That's about the room. Now the service. Ladies at front desk very unpleasant, if not rude. And don't advertise free breakfast! I'm not expecting a gourmet food, but a caffee and a small muffin?. Not even napkins!!!

Crack head hotel. Your pictures you have on your website arent what the actual hotel is. No breakfast. Very disappointing.

NO hot water for our 2 night stay. We spoke to the front desk after the 1st night and it was to be fixed. It was not fixed!! We have requested a refund!! "Breakfast" was a joke! Coffee, tea and a few muffins

Checkin was brutally slow. The “continental breakfast” consisted of tacky, packaged muffins and awful coffee. Staff were not very pleasant and made for a frustrating experience. No amenities (we forgot and asked for a razor and toothpaste). The room itself had no fridge or microwave and while it looks like it is being renovated, the road noise was brutal - dire need of weather stripping and more amenities. We stayed for two nights and on the second, we crawled into our bed and the sheets were damp from we assume the weather. I would not recommend this hotel.
