The property is dated and in desperate need of a refresh. Most important would be: You need to put USB/tech ports in rooms and lobby (should be perfunctory), bathrooms are borderline unacceptable, breakfast is almost inedible, fitness center needs new treadmills (they are truly on their last legs), and everything generally smells like you are covering up bad odors with air freshener and it leaves you with a gross feeling. Things that were OK: Beds & pillows were comfortable, staff was fine, but honestly not very knowledgeable about basic things. Overall if I had not gotten a better last-minute rate (reduced from an outrageous $300/night - this is price gauging due to Cincy Tennis tournament) - I would have refused to stay when I saw the actual property in person.

Hotel really needs an entrance with extended roof. Had to wait for the storm to slow down so we could run in to check in. Breakfast was alright. Comfy beds. Tried to use their washer and dryer..dryer did not work

The staff was courteous and helpful, but the hotel was very dingy and dirty in the common areas. Breakfast was frankly disgusting, and the outdoor pool was very dirty. Our room had fruit flies, and the refrigerator did not get cold. No guide on the TV to tell what station the TV was on, or what shows were on those channels.

Excellent location. Close to King's Island and Tennis. Friendly staff with helpful local information at the front desk. The elevator was out, so that might have been a problem if I would have been on a higher floor!

The room I originally reserved was not clean. Shower was dusty with hair in it and the bed had blood on it. They were nice enough to upgrade me for free. The room was better but nothing spectacular. The toilet kept overflowing the whole stay and I had to switch my keys like three times cause they stopped working. Overall it’s an okay stay with breakfast.

I would like a refund for this. We didn’t stay the night because there were signs of bed bugs. Plastic over the bed frames were the first red flag. We then read reviews of someone having an issue with bed bugs not even a week ago. We also confirmed blood stains that are a sign of bed bugs. We left as soon as we saw that and did not stay there. Had to find a different hotel down the street. Please refund this booking since we couldn’t stay there and told the staff we wouldn’t stay there

My family had to get a couple of rooms due to a power outage. Upon checking into our rooms, we found bedbugs. We reached out to the front desk and they said they would be up to our room (still waiting to hear from the manager). We ended up leaving and braving the power outage in a winter storm

First of all, the woman who checked us in was extremely rude. Took my card and ran it and didn’t even tell me what for after i asked she just said “its standard”. Then made me sign a waiver that they could charge me $250 AFTER she ran my card if we left the room dirty. First of all, the room was disgusting. Mold in the bathroom, and ants everywhere, even on our bed. When we called and requested to switch rooms, the front desk guy hung up on me. Then finally got ahold of him after 3 tries and he switched us to a room with stained sheets and hair on the bed. DISGUSTING.

The towel sets had no washcloths. The sink faucet ran only hot or tepid water regardless of which tap you turned. The television speaker had a fuzzy or "blown" quality when program dialogs were in the lower register. The breakfast was low quality: cereal probably not name-brand, the orange juice tasted like a mix of apple and orange juice. The wifi was very very very slow.

The man at the desk the evening we arrived was very professional and very helpful. Our room however was a disappointment. The air conditioner didn’t work at all so our room was too warm and stuffy. The remote for the tv didn’t work for us until the man from the front desk came and showed us the way it worked. Even he had trouble getting it to work.

We reserved an accessible room, but were given a regular room. We were asked to share a portable shower chair with another room (I'm not making this up) but even this was not provided. The staff on hand did all they could to help, but management was so bad that it made their job practically impossible.

I checked in on Sunday. A very friendly elderly gentleman asked me if i would like room service every day or every other day. I said every other day is fine. I was checking out on Thursday so i thought the room would be cleaned on Tuesday. We came back to our room Tuesday afternoon to find it wasnt cleaned. I said something to the front desk. They apologized. I thought it would be cleaned Wednesday. I saw the maid and asked her to clean my room. I told her my room number she repeated it back and said ok. I came back that evening and the room still wasnt clean. At the front desk they said the gentleman that checked me in did not leave a note in their book saying that we wanted room service. I was checking out the next day and never had my room cleaned. Very disappointed

Had a hard time understanding the guy at check in. I gave him both names for the two rooms I reserved and and he only gave me a key for one room and seemed very confused when I repeated I had two rooms. Never mentioned if there was breakfast. We did see that there was a breakfast room, but it offered very little. The man at checkout was wonderful!

We made a reservation with expedia. When we checked in, we were given a room with 2 very small beds instead of the king suite we paid for. Room smelled like a combo of a gym locker room and alcohol, wet spots in the carpet. Called the front desk and they said house keeping was not available and no other rooms available that night. After checking out, we found out we had been charged TWICE for the KING SUITE room. 2 weeks of trying to get ahold of them to no avail.

This is our go to hotel for kings island trips. 10 mins from the park, 5 mins away from plenty of great places to eat that are open late, and always feel safe here. The rooms are a little small but kept clean and comfortable. And their breakfast is usually pretty great. Plenty of protein and breads and the waffles are always amazing. All in all for under a hundred bucks, there's nothing to complain about here. Friendly staff and a great location.

When we got there to check in the older guy working the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Location was great. We got there late after a long day at kings island. We got to our room, you could visibly tell the floors hadn’t been swept and the toilet was not clean.. but the bed was nicely made and clean and everything else was decent… when we went down for breakfast in the morning at 8am the fridge that is supposed to have breakfast food was empty. Really the only choices were cereal, eggs, waffles, a couple baked goods, apples and oranges. Nothing was stocked and the woman working told other guests that they weren't bringing anything else out.

Our stay was good. Staff was helpful and understanding zbout our delay in check-in. Breakfast had a good variety. The room was good snd overall clean, bathroom could have used another round of cleaning and the tib drained a little slow. I would stay again for future upcoming events if the pricing continues to stay competitive.

Everything was great for a weekend get away. The breakfast was decent but could benefit from lactose free options and condiments for the sausage egg english muffin such as mustard and mayo. The only service person who was not the most helpful was the short guy running the breakfast restock. Everyone else was kind and helpful. Breakfast was frozen sausage, eggs, muffins, and loaf bread. I do mean frozen. All was frozen you had to microwave even the blueberry muffins. I understand storage but it could be pulled from the freezer an hour prior to the start of breakfast which is from 7-10am. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The room was clean. The air conditioner worked ok. The floor could benefit from being steam cleaned or shampooing done. Overall though I would stay again for a short period if the price was the same such as a weekend get away. If staying a week I would likely pay extra for better accommodations elsewhere. It was an 8 minute drive to Kings Island. Close to a lot of places. Extra parking on the far lot.
