There were bugs coming out of the sink, the pool was completely covered in bugs ....had not been strained or cleaned... floors looked like they werent mopped and room floors were sticky

The pool was closed and never put up notification of that fact on website. The common areas were not cleaned regularly. I was there for 5 days and my room was never cleaned nor was asked for service. The air condition/heater fan was extremely loud and obnoxious.

One guy had two BIG dogs. No doggie bags for people to pick up the poo. I honestly could not find a decent area for my little fur baby to go potty without stepping in the big dogs doo. Very unfortunate. I finally went across the parking lot to let her go.

The wall behind the headboard was covered in dust balls and lint, floors were dirty, comforter and top blanket were dirty, bathroom was clean, but no water pressure, couldn't take a shower, lobby looked nothing like the picture, only had two chairs, pool was nasty looking, parking lot was trashed, even had old abandon truck in lot. The back entrance door didn't lock so anyone could just in, plus the smell of weed through out the building was overwhelming.

Cosmetic needed a little touch up in the room, but nothing overly major. Check in was incredibly simple and fast. I don’t remember her name, but our check in was full of laughter and easiness. Beds were comfy. My son absolutely enjoyed the outdoor pool. No complaints there at all. It was easy to hear the other doors slamming at night, I don’t know if the doors just need touched up or if it was just easy to hear.

Parking lane pitch black, area around outside hotel is kinda deserted and seems run down. Check in man was kinda surly - not a happy person, and not even professionally polite- just seemed bored, not a friendly welcome. Lobby sparse. Overall damp feeling because they have old air conditioning and don’t set it to be cool, just a bit less hot than outside Good ice machine.

Three work trucks had their side glass knocked out on each truck. That made it a little worrisome! I was in room 112 and and heard about 30 buckets of ice randomly being taken out of the ice machine throughout the night.

Read reviews prior to coming but guess I didn’t do enough “homework” Staff were friendly but not helpful. Upon entering our room, we had bugs all over the floor. I couldn’t tell if small roaches or what type of bugs… but they were everywhere. Might have also had mouse droppings. One of our queen beds had dirty sheets with what appeared to also be bugs. Couldn’t call front desk as room phone was broken- called using my cell- asked front if someone could come sweep/damp mop floors bc of bugs and also asked for someone to re make bed w/ clean sheets. “House keeping is gone for the day”- no apologies or remedies. I had to request all new bedding and ended up taking a bath towel and hot water from tub to mop floor & clean up bugs. Hotel allows smoking and pets.. so it smelled terrible. No water, or coffee in the am- would not stay again.

Not enough towels in bathroom for four people. Room was hot when we arrived because A/C was shut off. Bedding was stained. Mirror over desk was filthy with something smeared all over it so it obviously was not cleaned after last occupants checked out. We had a non smoking room, yet the entire floor including inside our room reeked of marijuana to the point that I was nauseous and unable to sleep well. Not a good experience at all. Would not recommend this property.

As soon as you walk in the building it smelt like Marijuana and smoke..even had a non smoking room and still wreaked of smoke. Husband went to get in shower a noticed the focet was turnt sideways so water came out wierd and when he turnt handle to turn water on the handle fell off. Beds are not comfortable pillows are horrible and you can here everything outside of building like thw window is open...it also doesnt have breakfast even though when book it said it did.

Everyone that helped us was amazing. The checkin process was smooth. Receptionist was friendly. And when we needed towels they helped us out. But the hotel needs a very deep clean. The rooms have wood floors and under desk in room was very sticky. Stairs were gross and needed a deep carpet cleaning, windows were dirty, phone was so gross. Room smelled weird upon entrance.

The property was easy to find and very close to restaurants, Kings Island etc. Check in was easy, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were a nice size, everything worked in the room, and was beds were comfortable. The hallway has a strong smell of smoke and pot which lingered into the rooms. The rooms need updating and a good deep cleaning. There was also an infestation of ants. My husband went to the front desk and someone came a sprayed a few spots on the room but it did not help much. There were ants everywhere, which made it hard to have snacks or drinks out because they would get into it. It also didn't help because my pre-schooler is in a stage where she is scared of every bug. She wouldn't leave the bed.

For the price, its fair. If youre looking for a hotel to come and sleep this is fine. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. The staff is super friendly.

The room I was in 223 the shower barely held together. The faucet was loose and the nob to turn on the shower had to be yanked so hard to get the shower to turn on. I booked two rooms for 8 people and was not given enough towels to begin with and not enough toilet paper for 2 days with 8 people.

I need to first recognize the nice lady at the front desk. (I did not catch her name unfortunately) I called while traveling to ask if my son could check in a little early because he had arrived about a hour or so before I did and she said no problem! She was very nice and helpful! The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The building over all is a bit outdated but it suited our needs which was a good night’s sleep and rest after being at Kings Island all day.

The front desk clerk at check-in was friendly, helpful, and so fun! I wish I had gotten her name because she was so great and thoughtful of us traveling with young kids (for both our family and other guests). The hotel was clean, comfy, and quiet for being near a busy road. We would definitely use this hotel again!

Red Roof Inn was great. The check in hostess was simply amazing and very helpful. She gave us tips for restaurants and food in the area and saved me from being double charged for the room. The room itself was spacious comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Our first room had a defective deadbolt. The second room had ants. They offered a hot tub room at no extra charge but it had dirt in the corners. The manager would not issue a refund until Expedia called him, then he only refunded two out of the three nights.

Nothing at all negative I can think of! Safe and my dog is welcome. Lots of restaurants and stores, close! The highway is right there too so it's very easy to get to Kngs Island, downtown Cincinnati, the zoo, Newport aquarium, trampoline park. Tons of places are really close.

There is NO breakfast, just coffee. definitely smelled like weed in the lobby. It is more run down then the pictures show, but overall would stay here again. The rooms were clean just old. Staff was very friendly both nights. Location was good for our trip. For a cheap hotel price it was worth it.

This property was not where we thought it was (our mistake) but fortunately we were able to cancel our 2nd night. Flooring coming up in the room. No pen or paper. No breakfast of any kind...not even coffee in the lobby. Overall not worth the price. Used to avoid Red Roof. Thought we'd give it a try. Will continue to avoid.

Great place to stay for the night. Staff was very friendly! Room was clean and it was surprisingly quiet for a ground level room. Only thing I would've appreciated was breakfast. Even if it was something small like fruit, granola, or something quick to grab before heading out! Overall I'd stay here again😊

The check-in process was fast and easy. The staff was extremely friendly. The room was very well insulated in that you can't hear what's going on with your neighbors. Great place to stay! Unfortunately, they don't offer breakfast. They do offer coffee and tea.
