Booked a non smoking, double queen room. Had to leave window open all night just to battle the smoke. Also had no elevator working in the building. Our room was on the second floor. Front desk service was excellent.

Check in was normal. The roof is leaking all over the building. They have buckets collecting water. The whole place stinks like weed and crap. The beds seemed to have clean sheets but the floors were dirty and sticky. I don't think they sweep. Same goes for the bathroom. There was still stuff in the fridge. Overall it really sucked. I've paid half the price for much better hotels.

This is an older property, so it could probably use a few facility upgrades. But besides that, the room was clean and the staff were very nice! Their lounge is open Mon-Sat 5PM to 10PM, which was a convenient surprise— I didn’t realize that was at the hotel until we arrived. Overall we had a great overnight stay! Big thanks to their great staff!

The room was quiet and the location ideal. However, the room was shabby and there were a number of missed spots that should've been cleaned (baseboards, under microwave, etc). We were also disappointed that the pool was out of service, esp. since the temps were in the 90s! We would stay there again because it was quiet, reasonably priced and ideally located, but definitely could use some updating and maintenance.

When we arrived the bed sheets had black hair and stains on them. We went and asked housekeeping for fresh sheets and they were very nice. They came and changed the sheets right away and apologized for them not being clean. The room itself smelled musty. The breakfast was great and staff was friendly, but I couldn't connect to the wifi and no one was able to help me find out why. This hotel is very dated and the pool hasn't worked for some time. Can't beat the price, but I guess you get what you pay for. We won't be staying here again.

For a quick overnight stay this property was nice. It could use some tlc and it would make a better vacation spot if it had the pool & hot tub filled & open (outdoors). Understand everyone is understaffed so they can only do with what they have. But overall we had a nice stay and the breakfast was delicious!

Our room was filthy. When I went in the room I sat my purse on a table. When I picked it up the bottom was sticky and I realized I had sat it on a sticky spot on the table. So I got a wash cloth with hot water to wipe off the table and the wash cloth came back with filthy dirt on it. The sheets had cigarette burns on them. The toilet had a ring around the water line. We checked out.

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience at Quality Inn was so awful that I had to say something. I stayed here with my family, and we always book non-smoking rooms due to my sensitivity to smoke — it makes me nauseous. Despite our clear request, the second floor hallway reeked of cigarette smoke so badly that the smell lingered in my hair and seeped into our room. It was absolutely disgusting. Cleanliness was beyond unacceptable. I don’t care about fancy amenities — I just want a clean place to sleep. Instead, we walked into a room that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned properly in ages: Toilet looked like it had never seen a toilet brush. Phone was coated in dust — decades' worth, it seemed. Walls had brown stains on them — no idea what they were, but it was disturbing. Comforter had blue ink stains all over it. I took photos and videos of everything and will be posting them because people deserve to see what they’re walking into. I don’t recommend staying here to anyone, especially if you care about cleanliness or have any sensitivity to smoke. FYI. The app won't let me add photos. Even though it says I can add at least 8.

The hotel and room smelled of urine and smoke, and there were bugs in the room. It was bad enough that we left as soon as we checked in to our room. The 1 nice thing was that the hotel refunded our stay through hotels.com.

Very budget accommodations. We found cockroaches in the room and the place really needs a huge face lift. Ceiling in bathroom was discolored and peeling. The carpets are fraying and even though the rooms say no smoking, the halls smell of smoke. The towels turned a dingy white when they got wet The over all feeling was dirty and run down They did have nice staff

The room was dirty. Splattered blood, and other fluids splattered all over walls. Lamp shades broken lights were blown in one of the lamps. Carpet was torn throughout hallway. The smell of the room and hallway smelled so bad. It was dusty. There's no Quality to this place. I would recommend people to think twice before staying at this place.

Ants. Ants everywhere. In the beds and all over the tables in the room. They got all over my brand new baby’s car seat. It was disgusting. I couldn’t even set him down to change his diaper without an ant getting on him. We left early and they refused to give a full refund for the room.

The check in was good. Employee was friendly and quick. The building smelled strong of cigarettes. The room felt like it was falling apart. The bathroom door didn’t latch, the dust was thick and the room was not clean. The beds were very hard and worn out. I would not stay here again.

We booked for the suit online because the hotel had good reviews but when we checked in they said the suit wasn’t available so they gave us a 2 bed room. The toilet didn’t work so we told them & they switched us to a different room. The room they switched us to one of the beds sunk in like it was broken, the other mattress was hard & the sink was kind of clogged. The wifi wasn’t great either. They also tried charging my card multiple times but my bank blocked it thankfully. The staff was nice though & the breakfast was good but i wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Rooms were spacious and nicely kept. Nice size refrigerator and tv. Carpets were clean but there was a feel about them that all older hotels have. A kind of feel that under the carpet there is evidence of many carpet replacements have occurred. The outside pool looked clean and decent sized, but was not full during my stay. Breakfast was different, you will receive a coupon for a sit down meal that consist of your choice of three items and access to refillable coffee, tea, water and juice. Potential consists in that this hotel has two decent size banquet/ conference room with an equipped kitchen so if you need a business excursion or wedding reception they appeared prepared to host

The ac smells like mold, and the bathroom air vent spits hot air out. There was a tissue shoved into my peep hole before I was even in the room. My room is good enough for 1 night, but not a hotel I would chose twice.

The building is dated, the bathroom bar and shelf were in disrepair, the room was very dated, and the black out curtains are non existent with parking lot lights that are in all the time shining in the windows. The facility staff were friendly and the bed was comfortable but the stairway and outside doors slam so you hear every person coming and going.

Given a room key to a room that was already occupied. Walked in on people in their room. Was woken up at 6am to a horrible sewage smell. Literally made us physically sick. Just a bad experience. Front desk staff was friendly tho. (Thus, the 2 stars) Hotel looked very run down.

We were there to see family. The hotel was very pleasant to stay at. The next trip we take to the Point Pleasant/Gallipolis area, we plan on staying at the same hotel. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The facility was also clean and well kept. Thank you for a wonderful experience

We had a decent stay at this Quality Inn. It's definitely an older property that could use a facelift, but the staff were friendly and the room price was good for what we got. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. It was on the outskirts of Gallipolis so it was pretty quiet, which was nice. Breakfast was average (you could choose 3 options out of a list of 10-12 items instead of a self-serve buffet) but good. We would stay here again.

All in all it was a good experience. There was only one person working at breakfast time which took a long time. I was confused about the breakfast because i was given 2 breakfast coupons being a choice member but they didn't even ask for them at breakfast and others were there eating without coupons.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was large, warm and everything was in working order. The free breakfast was brought to us and you can order from a menu with about 20 items. This hotel is a good value for the money. We will stay here again!

The hotel is older.. no frills. Could use a deep clean. The worst was breakfast… the waitress was down right rude. She told everyone she was overwhelmed and all alone but 30 mins later she had still not taken our order. She purposely helped others and ignore some. Do not expect to eat breakfast here. I will be calling the manager during regular business hours.

Not having maintenance or housekeeping available after 3:00. First room we were in had a broken seal around commode, so was moved to another room which was dirty. No housekeeping available, so another move was required. Stayed Fri- Mon. Memorial weekendand staff were very pleasant and accomodating as much as possible. Cook called off Sat. morning, so no breakfast was available as advertised, no back up plan. I feel the hospitality industry needs to make it easier for their employees to take care of the guests by ensuring the employees have the supplies and back up staff available. The employees are the ones on the front line listening to all the complaints and putting out all the fires. Being a retired nurse, I know and feel their pain. Kudos to their attitudes and patience, dealing with the public is no picnic!

Our room was clean and the property was well kept. A little outdated, but still a good place to sleep. The breakfast was awful. They gave us coupons for a free breakfast in the restaurant, but we only used them our first morning because we realized how awful the food was. The staff was friendly. We qould atay again..
