Great, reasonably priced hotel for short trip to King’s Island & surrounding area. This was our third stay recently as my kids love the indoor pool & hot tub, as well as the variety of foods offered for breakfast.

Air ducks in room and near the hot tub was full of lint and dirty. The pool’s tile was chipped up. The hot tub title was chipped around the top and there was a ring around the top of it. Needs to be scrubbed cleaned.

The pool had major problems and was contaminated. Actually had a warning issued from the state of Ohio, city of Mason due to broken non-functioning filtration equipment.

I did not appreciate the Fox news at breakfast. The hot tub was low on chlorine and closed most of the time we were there. That was part of the reason i picked this hotel. They also had the door open from pool to outside due to pool area steaming up. It was cold.

The pool and hot tub were closed due, due to maintenance. We specifically chose this hotel to use both, but neither Expedia nor the Best Western hotel disclosed this information to the public. Furthermore, Expedia did not provide provisions for changing or cancelling our reservation) even though I purchased the "Hotel Booking Protection plan". I will never use Expedia again

Pros: Hotel looked and smelled clean. Carpet in hallway and room looked new and so did the bed linens. Plenty of towels in the room. Breakfast was good with a variety of food: scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, toast, bagels, muffins, fruit, yogurt, & oatmeal. Microwave and mini fridge in the room. Located near stores and places to eat. Inside pool is warm. Staff seemed nice. Cons: Water pooled in the tub while taking a shower and eventually drained out. Hot tub was nice and hot but stopped bubbling. Had to go to the front desk a few times because room keys wouldn’t work randomly. Woke up the next morning with dozens of tiny ants crawling around on the floor and table near the window then saw a cockroach run up onto the bed. I let the front desk person know about the issues, hopefully they will get them taken care of.

We did see two roaches in our room after asking the receptionist if there were any bugs being reassured we were okay. I did ask for some additional towels and the pests were seen on the towels.The hotel was okay but that was very off putting we were put in another room however and did not see any roaches but this morning there was a bug in the bathtub.

Somebody needs to buy the housekeeping staff some magic erasers. We were only here for a quick overnight while traveling, so we made the most of it, but you definitely get what you pay for here. This hotel is looking tired. The walls and floors in our room needed to be scrubbed and carpet deep cleaned. Moldy spots on the tub caulk and a film on the doorknobs. It wasn't disgusting, and yet - it certainly didn't feel clean.... Check in was ok. Breakfast was ok. I wouldn't return here though.

The hotel was very clean, front desk staff was friendly, the room was clean. The breakfast was really good with a lot of options for our family, and the pool was heated nicely too. We will definitely be back in the future.

We were on the first floor and the curtains do not close to the room so cars pulling in shone their lights into our room. Very little hot water for showers. Breakfast was very good and the room was very clean. Hotel was somewhat dated but clean.

There is a light from outside that shines in the room for Room 119. There are no thick curtains that could be pulled over the window, so the room was lit up and no way to get the room dark, making it tough to sleep. This needs to be fixed, either re-aiming the light away from the window or adding a thick curtain that can be pulled across the window.

The room was clean and the pool was nice. Breakfast was adequate. We were given a room that adjoins with another. We locked the adjoining door and rolled with it. However we could hear everything from the room next door. We, nor the other family had any privacy because the adjoining door absolutely did not block out sound. As a result, my daughter and I were up much later than expected as the guests next door were up well after midnight and we could hear EVERYTHING.

Really nice staff, my only complaint was that it was a bit loud. Someone closing the door in the room next to you shook the walls and woke me up a couple of times before putting in ear plugs.

We just did not have a great experience at all. The people next to us threw a party in the middle of the night and the staff would not get them quiet finally my husband had to go over there to et them to turn their music down at 1:00 am

Check out was at 11 am … why did house keeping try to come into my room without knocking.. they couldn’t come in bc the door stopper. I opted out of house keeping & yet they came in while we were gone & half ass did the house keeping… literally made one bed , didn’t bring extra towels , took the towels we did have. Very unprofessional

Had a very bad experience when we arrived from out of state the amenities were not update like in the photos and has things that definitely needs to be updated and approved and also the smell caused my daughter to have a flare up of her medical condition and when I asked to cancel and get a refund hemu (manager) got very irate and refused so still to this day they’ve charged me for my stay and my deposit even though I had to relocate to a different hotel then entire stay.

Overall, not satisfied. They had drunk people keeping us from sleeping, and did nothing to stop them from screaming all throughout the night. Then, the third floor construction started briggt and early, so we got little to no sleep. Brought it up to hotel staff throughout the night and they did nothing. Not coming back.

We awoke to housekeeping entering the room at 9am despite checkout not being until 11am. I found this odd as the room had blood snot looking goo on the bathroom wall, hair in the unused by us tub/shower, and cobwebs all over the ceiling. I’ve stayed 300 nights a year in hotel rooms - I’m not picky. I don’t appreciate being walked in on hours before checkout.

Very well maintained property. Entire property is immaculately clean, and the bed and bedding were in very good condition and comfy. Very large TV channel selection, including several movie and sport channels along with large children's selection. Internet was decent and accommodated streaming video. Plenty of hot water and pressure. Fitness room is small but has newer equipment, which included cardio and strength equipment. Didn't use the pool this time, but it appeared in very good condition. Breakfast had sausage, eggs, and the usual fare of yogurt, muffins, hot waffles, etc. It was fresh and kept at proper temp -- above average. Check-in was a bit slow but otherwise great property. This place is VERY convenient after a day at King's Island -- less than 10 minutes away and a straight shot down interstate. Plenty of dining options nearby and convenient for interstate access. Although along a busy stretch of road, the room was completely quiet and I slept well. I would definitely return.

Convenient location with easy parking and highway access. I would not choose a first floor room due to the activity back and forth to the pool and dining area. It can get noisy. Overall, it's a great choice for families and close to attractions.

This was the second time I stayed here and everything was easy, clean and comfortable. It was a family friendly price for a weekend I spent with my 7 year old son visiting Cincinnati. Its conveniently located right off the Interstate and is less than a half hour from downtown Cincy. I will stay here again the next time I visit the Queen City

We booked this hotel as a last minute accommodation on the way home from our vacation. Our room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. This appears to be a renovated property (as opposed to new), but the renovations were very well done. Price was great. Breakfast was good, had many cold and hot options. Would stay here again if our travels take us to Cincinnati again.

The hotel was just as we expected it to be . well staffed and clean. breakfast buffet was VERY nice and the gal kept refilling everything as it was used. SO quiet also and we were close to the lobby. I will return next year for the tennis tournament and stay there.

The hotel is in a great location, very clean, and quiet other than the occasional door slam. I would suggest a change to your meal service. We came to breakfast on Monday (holiday) and while sitting at the table we witnessed many people standing in line at a quarter till the breakfast cut-off time. These people (approximately 10 people that we witnessed) did not get breakfast because the food was empty by the time it was their turn. I would recommend, if your cutoff time is 9) to fill the bar at 9 and let it serve until you are out. We saw the breakfast area restocked from 8-8:15 and that was the last of it. If you say you serve until 9, people who are in line at 8:45 should be able to acquire a decent meal.
