My wife and I were disappointed. The place is dirty and in need of serious repairs. Bathroom door would not shut. Toilet and tub have significant water stains and scratch marks. Sheets were stained with ink marks. Desk shelf is coming loose from the wall. Outside, the side walk and retaining wall are crumbling in multiple locations.

It definitely had only been “picked up” and linens changed. Floor needed mopped and everything wiped down. Area was very “iffy” and my husband was approached by a Homeless man and not left alone for quite a while. He was fine with but I was very uncomfortable.

Staff was polite when I spoke with them but manager was never available. Bugs, used needles in parking lot, sticky wood floors and slimy carpet. Grossest place I’ve ever stayed as a travel nurse who uses hotels weekly.

My pet friendly room had a very strong, foul odour. Housekeeping had left an air freshener to try to mask the smell but it was really bad. The wifi faded in and out - mostly out. There was coffee in the lobby but not even hot water available for tea. The grounds were very dirty.

Didn’t realize I was staying where the room doors are on the outside. Clerk wasn’t friendly. Room had a smell. Attempted to borrow an iron from front desk. Didn’t have any. That would have been a plus. I could hear the tv from conjoining room, clear. Would only stay here again if it’s a last resort, my car may be better. It is only a few minutes drive to many places.

They didn’t have any clean towels, the tv barely stayed on the wall, the air didn’t work and it says there is a mini fridge and it didn’t have one. The front desk people were very rude. I would give it a 2 out of 10. I don’t recommend this hotel at all. The outside grounds were also very dirty. We found evidence of someone smoking crack in our bathroom so that means it wasn’t cleaned properly!!!!

The rooms were dirty. The sheets were not clean and had stains on them. I told the front desk that there were bugs on the bed and in the bathroom and they did nothing. This hotel needs to be condemned.

There was black mold around the tub, the floor was sticky, toilet was dirty, lights didnt work except in bathroom, air conditioner was falling off the wall, curtain was not completely hooked (but no hooks to hook it back up), security light outside door was flashing all night long and with the curtain hanging wrong it flashed in the room all night. Complained to front desk, he said he would tell the manager. Asked to speak to mgr, but was told he wasnt there. So asked to call him, but was told he cant.

I've traveled the world and this was the most disgusting room I've ever been given. I went there with my young family, checked in and when I entered the room immediately vomited. The room was absolutely putrid, coved in dog urine and god knows what else. I then sat in the lobby waiting for an hour to ask for a new room before giving up and leaving after handing the front desk my room key. Now they're refusing to give me a refund and telling me to go through hotels.com for a refund and hotels.com tells me they owe me the rufund, not them. Spent countless hours today trying to sort this and have gotten absolutely nowhere. The front desk refuses to answer or call back. I dont know what else to do, being both livid and frustrated is and understatement. The place is literally crawling with drug addicts to boot.

If what you are looking for after a long day or travel is a hotel room that smells like cigarettes, a old spring mattress, with a yellow cigarrette stained comforter with burn holes, a counter thats falling off the wall at a 45 degree angle, a light above the sink area that doesnt work as well as half the other lights, a floor that cleary hasnt seen a mop in months or a broom by the sign of dead bugs, dust and hair, this is the place for you. Absoluletly the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at, I dont know how this place has not been shut down.

The first room they tried to put us in #116 smelled like wet dog and urine. The second smelled musty with cigarettes. We checked in late and were extremely tired. When we asked for some sort of compensation in the morning they claimed that we should not have checked in . The TV remote did not function and the air conditioning was malfunctioning. The water pressure was the only thing that was good about our stay. There was a dirty wash cloth left in the room. A hole caulked over in the bathroom door. A stain in the sheet of the bed. We again were tired, so we tolerated the conditions expecting the management to compensate us, and they didn't.

this place is filthy! we found cigarette holes in the bedding as well as stains, a used cigarette on top of the light, hair in the drain & roaches. we didn’t even stay the rest of the night.

I checked in around 9:30 and the air conditioner was not working so I called the front desk and asked if there was a trick to it. He said that he would send a ticket to maintenance. I was tired and going to sleep and didn’t want to wait then I grabbed the remote and the remote didn’t work so the front desk came down to fix the TV and the remote still didn’t work and then I tried to heat up something in the microwave. The microwave didn’t work so I tossed and turned all night couldn’t see if it was hot. The next day I got up and went to work early came back. The air conditioner still wasn’t fixed. I asked if I could switch rooms and he said let’s try the maintenance guy first well waited another two hours. Didn’t want to be disturbed by the maintenance guy with they did come so I went up there and asked if we could switch rooms. He gave me a room that was filthy dirty on accident I imagine either way I had to run back to the office to get another room so it was just very inconvenience and the whole reason I needed the hotel was to sleep.

The dirtiest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. Urine on the bathroom floor, a hardened spill stain on the fridge multiple (coffee?) stains on the bed cover , the air conditioner unit was covered in dirt and dust, … etc. door lock stuck and AC unit had no controls . The room said no smoking , but must be a recent thing because even the clothes I slept in reeked of smoke the next day.

This is the very most disgusting hotel I have ever been to. The air conditioner is literally missing parts and blowing warm air. The bed, pillows and blankets smell like environmental pollutants and chemical warfare agent bug sprays and it’s in the air too. There is a large blinking light that the curtains do not block out, and the light shines across the ceiling at night. There was urine on the floor and toilet seat when I came in here and toilet paper was used. No soap available. The tub looks 40 yrs old. The air conditioner is loud and I cannot sleep. For $85 a night this is a complete rip off and it looks like normal Red Roof in from the office to the room, then it looks like in turns into either a college campus room where kids tore the place in half or a outhouse at a recreational camping ground. Clock doesn’t work. The king size bed is cheap, very uncomfortable, bounce around like you’re on an air mattress camping, the blankets are scratchy. One towel for the shower. Plus the Wi-Fi doesn’t work. On and off again. Come on where’s environmental protection agency? This hotel should be condemned in my opinion.

The room was very comfortable and I slept soundly in a spacious king-size bed. I was disappointed the coffee pot was broken and no one was at the front desk at checkout at 8:45 am to thank, or accept my keycard. Overall, a surprising pleasure!!!!

Very outdated & rundown. It was clean, bed needs new springs or mattress, my side was sunk in. Everything pretty much worn out. On the positive side we did have a fair nights sleep & shower worked fine.

When I arrived at the hotel after my flight, it was 2am already. I was informed that they no longer had a room for me due to "maintenance issues", and if I wanted to find another place to stay I could check Google as to what was around and available. It took me 3 hours to find a hotel that had an available room that was an hour away, which I finally got at 5am. Since this was not my issue, Red Rod needed to have informed me of this issue earlier and tried to help me find a new place to stay. I almost had to sleep in my rental car. Not professional at all for leaving me stranded.

My husband had to change rooms twice. In the second room, he cut his ankle on something on the bed while he slept. It bled a lot. He complained and was given another room that wasn't much better, but he was told was one of the best rooms.

After arriving at approximately 1AM after a 7 hour drive from Chicago the room (141) we were originally given smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and the toilet had been used and not flushed. The sheets were actually dirty as well. The front desk tried to give us another room (149) however upon inspection we just were not comfortable staying there so we returned our key and left. We did not give them our credit card as we had reserved through Expedia and so they said they could not issue a refund and that we would have to go through Expedia for that. The staff tried to be helpful but they were having lots of problems with other rooms as well.

Unfortunately this property was extremely dirty and smelled like cigarettes. After going to the front deck to change rooms twice i still had to find a new hotel. The night shift front deck attendant was really nice but was new and didn’t know how to cancel my reservation. So I just checked into another hotel and driest thing in the morning called not once but four times to speak with a manager just to get hung up on because they didn’t want to cancel and refund m my money. I do not recommend this location if you are looking for somewhere to stay while in the area

This Red Roof Inn was very conveniently located and although my room was mostly comfortable the mattress certainly needed to be replaced since it was completely flat. The property grounds needed to be picked up and refreshed. My room was clean and everything was in working order.

No Tv no internet no hair dryer no holder for toilet paper the drain in wash basin broke could not lift up no coffee maker was not willing to give extra towels but the bed was very comfortable I would not recommend it as a good place to stay
