The room and bathroom was clean, we were a little late checking out and they were understanding about it. The bed was a little hard for our tastes but we still slept well. The elevator has some kind of strong smell but the stairs were easy to access and there’s only 2 floors so that was okay. The breakfast spread was pretty good I wish it was open a little later than 9 though. Over all if I was in the area I would stay here again.

Mostly remodeled hotel. Bathroom in the room was very nice. Nearly new furniture. Very nice staff. Breakfast was acceptable. Coffee was just ok. Definitely recommend this hotel if you’re in the area.

This hotel was in the middle of remodel & update and they made us aware and apologized. But it was clean and beds were comfortable. Mini fridge (no little freeer tho for our ice packs) , microwave, updated shower, nightlight in bathroom, great lighting behind bathroom mirror. There is a train track across that might be bothersome at night. Some of the loud guests were more bothersome for us. Breakfast typical cold items and warm waffles , eggs, sausage oatmeals. We would stay here again.

Needs updated. Security latch missing from the door. Door off the hinge.Clean and breakfast was ok. We got locked out of our room and we had to get the key reactivated. Not the worse place but wouldn't stay again.Staff was polite but not informative.

CHECK IN was a breeze with Amber! •Amber is very sweet, knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. My room is EXCELLENT; very nice, clean and beautifully updated. I am traveling alone for work; I truly appreciate that I was able to park near the closest entrance to my room! I most definitely recommend this hotel, very pleased!! 😊

I am a truck driver and was easy to park my bobtail truck. The front desk staff were GREAT. Both day and night shift. The rooms are clean and not run down. Walk in shower is nice. Towels and bedding are good with no stains or burn holes. When I went to bed though I started iching and no bed bugs were found but some type of bugs. Called front desk and they brought up key to another room. They showed me the room and after inspecting it, all was good!! I travel alot and once I alerted them to the problem they took care of it immediately. Customer service like this is rare anymore. They were professional and did not have an attitude when a problem arose. The breakfast is great as well. I have seen some of the reviews and there are no smells in hallways or rooms. Everything is well maintained. I will be staying here again

Manager dropped entire pack of napkins on the floor then proceeded to pick them up and put them on the counter in the breakfast area with the other napkins. When called out about it, she proceeded to try to justify it. After calling the customer a liar, she finally removed the napkins and threw them away. She then said if you think I'm dirty, I am also the one cooking the food. We then got up, threw out the breakfast we were eating, and left. Yuck!!! Also ants on the bathroom floor in our room.

Amber at the front desk is always helpful and friendly, every time I have checked in to this hotel. My only negative thing to say about the room, is that it had a very strong odor of old, stale cigarette smoke and musty air conditioner. I would definitely suggest cleaning or replacing the filters in the air units on a regular basis.

Clean room, comfortable bed, ice cold a/c, large television, and hot water in the shower. The toilet seat was pretty loose but I’m not taking points off for that. It was everything you could ask for. I would stay here again if in the area.

The hotel breakfast room was very convenient, although the cooked food needed more butter. The 11am checkout time was not too early.

As far as the hotel, it was excellent. The only issue i had was the railroad tracks are very close to the hotel. It seemed like the train ran every 30 minutes. Luckily I'm a heavy sleeper.

There have been many improvements in amenities (walk in shower in my room), new carpet, SECURE locks on doors to rooms and outside (electronic) and CLEAN. The only drawback was inconsistent WiFi internet connection. Overall very nice improvements. Staff were very pleasant.

Check in was fast and front desk staff friendly and helpful. The hotel lobby was nicely decorated for the holiday and was very comfortable. Everything was very clean and the bed so comfortable. My only complaint was the room was advertised with a double sofa-bed and in fact, none of the double rooms have them. That was inconvenient in that we had planned for it. Would stay again.

It was clean. It has that going for it. And it was easy to deal with. I think for a total of $130 for one night is a little pricey though for beds that even made my 7 yo's back hurt. They are awful. They don't even seem like they'd be that bad until you try and lay on them for a few minutes. My back is messed up too. Also an unfortunately close train went through all night long. Not the hotels fault but didn't help the overall experience. Next time I'll pick one out of town.

We really enjoyed our 5 day stay. The room, breakfast & common areas were all very clean. The breakfast had many choices that everyone could find something to eat. Waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits, fruit, cereal, toast, yogurt, juice & of course, COFFEE We came to Waverly, Ohio, to visit family and we'll be back in the future. We always stay at the Comfort Inn in Piketon and have NEVER been disappointed.
