Run down. Not maintained. For instance, the security lock on the door at the south end didn't work. Anyone could walk in. Wall around toilet was peeling. However, the staff was friendly and my room appeared clean.

You should not advertise that there is a pool and restaurant on site when they do not exist. The pool has not had water in it for months. And if there is a restaurant, it was very well hidden. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was average.

I am glad to see several other businesses developed in the area for gas, eating, and shopping. The hotel room showed signs of age but at the same time I felt like it was very clean. There was a rather strong garlic smell as I entered the lobby. It wasn't off putting but quite noticeable. The breakfast offering was typical and would satisfy most but could have used some butter and jelly for biscuits. The gravy, which I did not eat, had just been dumped in the mini crockpot but never stirred. Gotta do better with the coffee but so many hotels don't have good coffee in my opinion. The pool wasn't operational at this time. I'm thinking new ownership?

Friendly staff,clean and convenient facility. Easily accessible from interstate yet quiet. Numerous fast food options within a quarter mile with restaurants within about 2 miles away. Decent free breakfast. Great value. While it’s been renovated some features are dated - analog TV, swipe card access rather than proximity cards etc. Would definitely stay again.

Website was INCORRECT regards to amenities/services. Advertised but was NOT offered: Swimming Pool: Looked as if it hadn't been working for years. No Restaurant was on site: Nothing was there. Clerk said a restaurant was there a long time ago. Building was not Maintained: * Carpeting in the hallways and room smelled absolutely terrible. * The ĺobby walls and doors were marred and hadn't been painted in such a long time. This is False Advertising.

Rude overnight check-in lady. After packing and driving 500 miles in one day the last thing I needed was to argue over a pet fee. $84/night but two cats were an additional $40? Next time we will skip this rundown hotel and stay at a Marriott. We expected it to be a little run down because of the price but the location and ez off/on were attractive. Breakfast was limited but decent. Most stuff didn’t work in the hotel. Vending machines, ice and water machine in dining room. Rooms were dirty, hair in the tub, on the sink, and on the toilet. Flooring was coming apart. Red Bull can behind the furniture, random battery on the ground and dozen old French fries under the bed. Normally I tip the cleaning staff but they didn’t take any pride in their work. All these things wouldn’t have gotten a bad review, but being rude and making a paying guest feel uncomfortable is not acceptable. They gave us a room right next to the office so they could “watch us” in case my wife (who arrived at 3am) was bringing the cats. Not a very pleasant experience, would not recommend to a friend. A little kindness would’ve gone a long way, and we would’ve had the cats stay there also so they got their extra $40.

The early morning reception was very helpful. Property too run down, needs renovation before would consider returning. Breakfast a little too simple and not early enough for my schedules. Check-in was not good and confusing. Person's communication skills poor. Person in early mornings was very good and should be the standard for interaction. Amenities in room: bare minimum and found dust inside thee room coffee. Generally, not better than motel 6. Expectations not met.

The bedding was stained and torn, the window seals were gross, carpets needed cleaning. Marks on walls shower curtain walls that could of been washed off. In bad need of updating. The people were very nice and that was the only plus. Our friends moved but we stuck it out, not again. I checked for bedbugs and non so we stayed.

The staff is very nice. First room I was checked into had not been cleaned. Obvious trash and clearly not serviced. Switched me to another room. The floor had not been vacuumed, the hangers had visible dust on them and just overall more attention to detail needs to be paid. But the price was great and the location is very convenient

Hotel was very dated and very dark. Minimal lighting in hallways and in rooms. Peking paint in bathrooms. Missing pictures in the room. They had to move me to a new room. My first room had hair on one of the pillows, and the bed sheets looked rumpled, as if someone had slept there. My second room had clean sheets and the bed was actually pretty comfortable. The man at the front desk apologized and moved me with no hassle. Aside from the sheets, I feel as though the hotel was more “dingy” than dirty.

I booked a room for a week the last two years here. Last year the accommodations was great and this year, The place was dirty and smelled moldy inside the room. The breakfast was the worst I’ve seen. I was all bitten up by bed bugs and itched all week. Because I could breath with the mold and with the bug bites, I didn’t sleep there the last two nights and booked a room elsewhere. I didn’t ask for a refund. I just left.

This is our third stay here in the last two weeks and we stayed here twice last year as well. It is a fine hotel, well maintained and Bruce at the front desk is a very welcoming presence. Nothing about our room was substandard, no items needing maintenance. We will never fail to stay at the Territorial Inn on our trips to Wisconsin from South Texas.

This a wonderful and moderately priced hotel. It is clean and presents far nicer than most motels. All components were in good working order and there were no items that showed a need for repair or adjustment. The breakfast buffet was very nice and staff were great. Special praise for Bruce on the front desk at check-in. We have stayed at this hotel before and Bruce is a great ambassador of good customer care and a very friendly and gracious welcome. We have reservations here next week and will stay here again next October.

I booked the room on the road for our night of travel but when I got there it was for the next night so there is nothing that he could do. I ended up having to buy a night for the night I was there. He charged me and told me that my hotels.com credit card was declined so I paid with a different card which went through. When I called my card the next day I had been charged twice for the room that night and the next night. Then I was charged on my other card that I had to use to rent the room initially. So I am a little frustrated to say the least. The gentleman behind the counter was pleasant but I’m not sure he understood what was happening. To add to my frustration the next morning there was no syrup for my waffles the next morning. I do enjoy the ease to use my Hotels.com card when we are on the road. This was just very frustrating situation.

It was ok for the price. Bed was fine for me my husband thought it was too soft tho. One nice thing was we were able to leave cash for the deposit and then get it back right away in the morning instead of having to wait for it to go back on a card. The breakfast was not much we didn’t even stay for it.

Couldn’t figure out how to turn the shower on. Found out at check out that this was the only room that there was a different way to turn it on which we weren’t told about on check in. Breakfast was so so though the biscuits were great, nice and fluffy.
