We have stayed here several times on trips back and forth to Connecticut. My advice would be to not be on the main level. We had first room in hallway. Heard elevator door ping eack time it hit the first floor.

Very friendly, helpful staff. The room is clean and comfortable. Nice pool, but small. Fairly quiet except for the family above us. Hoping they settle down so we can sleep. I did ask for a quiet room. Oh well.

As a professional cleaner I fully expected to be disappointed in the cleanliness of this hotel. However, it wasn’t that bad. Probably the best I’ve been to in the last few years including airbnbs. (Isn’t many) The pool seemed smaller than the photos and I would’ve like more space in the double queen bedrooms. There were no larger options. But overall, this was a great stay. Also, the elevators would stop working if you hold the door open. There’s nothing saying it outside the elevator. It only says it on the inside. Either the door needs fixed or they need to add the notice to every floor OUTSIDE of the elevator.

I was very surprised that during a significant winter event, the staff failed to apply any deicing material to any door or entrances. The entire parking lot was a complete ice skating rink. Very dangerous, disturbing, unacceptable.

Clean. Was hospitable with our pet. Only complaint is the pool was closed. Chose this place specifically for that. It should have been stated on web site.

Was a clean hotel room with a nice TV decent shower the AC could have been a little better but I'm not complaining too much. The the breakfast was very good. The pool was also very nice a tad small but clean with fresh towels

This stay was a yikes! I slept in my clothes after arriving tired and late. My first clue should have been the bathroom door being shut. In a nutshell, the tub fixtures were rusty and the rust was present on the shower wall and floor. The tub floor looked like someone may have vomited there? Although that might have been damage caused by the rust? The faucet was hanging loose. Tub tiles were broken… great for mold growth. There was a gaping hole in the bathroom ceiling. This is room 116, which needs serious repairs before being given to a guest again. Music played from the lobby until 2am. The ceiling above the bed was warped. The room felt dirty. I’m sure it was.

Staff was really nice, but the room was exceedingly dark. We kept needing more light. Also, the shower itself was great but around the tub and everything was rusty and not so great. Also, the hallway carpet is definitely need to be replaced and you could hear people walking on the upstairs

The room was a handicap accessible room which we picked bc it said it was non-smoking. Are all your rooms non-smoking? The shower in that room had very moldy caulk around the shower base which was disgusting. There were pet hairs around the room which wasn't acceptable. Breakfast was nice and well presented. Air conditioning worked well. Staff was nice.

Bath tub and shower falling apart. Shower head dripped all night. Coating on tub falling off (inside of tub). Thermostat didn’t work. Room fan didn’t work. Hair on bathroom floor. Hamptons have been so bad the past few years we’ve had enough. The Fairfield Inn was nearly pristine.

unable to connect to the internet, front desk gave me a special code to connect and still would not connect, front desk explained that I would have to bring my laptop down t the lobby and it would probably connect and stay for 24 hrs, I did this and still no internet. Went to the front desk and the manager had to log me in under his code in order to connect to internet. Wasted about an hour of my time that I could have been working. Front desk person explained that they run into this frequently.

Everything was excellent, except for the lack of noise proofing between the rooms. I could hear every word distinctly as my neighbor talked to his gf on his cell. Then, at 4am someone's alarm went off and they kept hitting the snooze every nine minutes for the next hour. Unfortunately, I could hear it every time. So, please work on the soundproofing! But otherwise, very nice stay.

Overall AOK last minute pass thru area reservation. The positives: 1) convenient to Hwy 80, 2) clean facility, 3) good breakfast, & 4) good / basic gym. Negatives: 1) TV didn’t work, 2) shower pressure very low, 3) very noisy at night (Both other rooms & outside), & 4) very limited parking night I arrived.

What I LOVED about this property was the staff. We checked in on a night with terrible weather. We had no luggage, toiletries, or personal belongings with us. We were privileged to be checked in by two wonderful people. I wish I had gotten their names. They were on duty this past Sunday evening - a young woman with dark hair and a young man who told us he was training. The young lady made up two toiletry bags for us containing everything we needed. These two staff members are a huge asset to this hotel. What I would change in the hotel is that it needs to be refurbished. It's looking a little tired and jaded. The room was clean, but attention to detail was not there - for example, corners in the room were dusty or dirty. The man who was serving breakfast had a terrible cough. We worried about catching something. The hotel is super convenient to Clarion Hospital and other medical facilities - good location. I would stay here again because of those two young people who were so pleasant and helpful. Please commend them!

The hotel itself was nice.. the front desk lady at check in was rude and sounded very irritated that she had to check us in.. then Everytime we went past the lobby she gave us dirty looks. We asked for an extra towel for the room and they said they didn't have anymore towels.. also asked for some more coffee for the room she gave us the coffee but was very rude about it again. The breakfast was good and the breakfast lady was terrific. Main complaint is the front desk lady being rude and sounded irritated that she had to put her phone down to do her job.

We were disappointed that there was no free wifi, that if we wanted it we would need to join the loyalty program. When we called the front to ask to ask for help troubleshooting we were given a blasé response from the guy who answered the phone, indicating that solving the problem was of no concern to him. The breakfast was good and the AM staff was very helpful and enthusiastic.

Hamptin inn Kenza the mgr wanted me to tell you hotel.com that I bever showed because they charged me for the room when it was already paid for. She didnt want to credit me back. She wanted me to call you and commit fraud. She said if I call you and say I didnt stay and that the hotel is willing to forgive it then when you call her to confirm she will agree. Unreal. Told her absolutely not. Had to argue for an hour for her to credit me back for what Hampton inn in clarion PA charged me for in error. They also have a hold for 341.88 that still have not released 4 days later. She said she " has no idea why their system does that sometimes" and eventually supposedly I will get it back someday. Terrible.

The property looked good and it was good. My room was clean, bathroom was really good. Around the property, it was mostly car-friendly, with not many walkable areas. Breakfast was really good, but coffee in the afternoon was cold on the days I was there. Esmeralda made me feel at home, she is a really good host. Overall, I will come back.
