We stayed for one night on our way from Illinois to New York. It was clean and easy to get to but the parking was basically impossible at 1130 pm. We were charged an extra $20 because we had 4 adults in the room but only 3 sets of towels and 2 sets of coffees. The breakfast was not as expected because they were remodeling. The ice machine was either broke or empty. We slept. 3 of us showered. We left. Probably won't be back.

Overall a new ce place to stay, quiet place, well maintained, front office has scope for improvement. At entry there are large storage boxes, spoiling the first impression. Cosmetic challenges, otherwise a good place to stay.

This was fine. Nothing special, just okay. I like my bed a bit softer but it was good enough for a good nights sleep. The fitness center was a joke. Just two treadmills, a bike and a medical scale. I would at least expect some weight training equipment. Breakfast was pretty good though- better than the average continental breakfast I’ve seen on my travels. All in all it was decent but not particularly great.

We arrived quite late at night and we were very happy to have our room ready for us. Reception had our reservation ready and check in was easy. Only complaint was that the vending machines were not working or not stocked. It was late and the Hotel is not close to stores so vending machines were the only answer. Breakfast in the morning was very good.

The hotel was being renovated. I appreciate the effort the hotel put forth to provide “grab and go” breakfast even though their breakfast area was being renovated. The staff was very friendly and check-in was easy. It was convenient off of I-80.

We arrived after 11pm and there’s no parking except for behind the truck containers. We were not greeted but the man just directly asked what my name is,,then sign here..etc. some roomed are under construction in the first floor as soon as the front door opens. Lastly the breakfast was heated up English muffins, cereals, some fruits. No eggs, meats…The money I paid is not worth this place.

Very disappointed, the room smelled of urine (animal urine) even though they do not allow pets. It is an old hotel and it looks it. That didn’t bother me - the smell did. When I brought it to the front desk attention, they could not change my room as it was fully booked. He sprayed something while I was away, but it only masked it for a little while.

The property is in need of repair. The wallpaper was falling off in the rooms, no ventilation in the bathroom, dirty areas of the room/bathroom, carpet appeared unswept, dining area had very old tables and chairs. The man at the front desk was very pleasant and nice. Ultimately, I don't think I will be returning.

The beds were comfortable but when we woke in the morning, we found a small bug crawling on the pillow. We took a picture of it and captured it in a coffee cup. Using a bug identifier app, we confirmed it's a bed bug. We told the front desk and they didn't seem concerned but told us to call a number on Monday for a refund. Now, we need to decontaminate all of our stuff in case they are in our luggage. Very stressful.

We thought that the service from check in to check out was excellent. The negative we experienced was the condition of the bed sheets and the pillow cases. Although they appeared to have been recently laundered, there were some older stains (looked like blood on both sheets and pillow cases), which were not very appealing. You would think that with going through all those renovations to upgrade appearances, the staff would have gotten rid of old stained linens.

Pictures of the room on the website which were all newly updated looking rooms did not match the condition of our room and that’s the reason why we picked to stay because it looked new and clean. Our king size room was very out dated, stains covering the carpet, pull out sofa was broken and mattress flat and springy. Room was very outdated. Breakfast was good and front staff was friendly

fire place didnt work under construction noise thru walls and hallway. could here flushing toilets and showers, tvs in adjacent rooms heat and ac was running and the temp was uncontrollable. had to turn off.

As of September 2025 the hotel is being renovated. On the plus side, the room was clean, the bed was comfy, the gym was pleasant, the desk people were helpful and friendly. On the minus side the breakfast was mediocre and the room desperately needed the upcoming renovation, having peeling wallpaper and such. This was probably the first cool night of the season and the heater, when we tested it, emitted a very smoky smell.

The A/C in our room was not working properly, the room was stuffy. The refrigerator was very loud. We asked for extra pillows when we booked the room and they were not happy when we had to ASK FOR THEM AGAIN. The phone did not work to call the front desk. It called a number that was disconnected. We were not satisfied with the accomidations for the most part.

Really enjoyed our 4 night stay. The staff at the front desk were polite and friendly, check in was easy and the rest of the Hotel staff kept everything running well, felt like our Home Away from Home. Breakfast was great too there was plenty to choose from. We would book to stay here again.

The room and facility are very clean. The only issue was the complimentary breakfast. It does not start until 06:30, which is too late for many people who are staying there for work, including me. When I asked if I could perhaps have a couple granola bars or a muffin ahead of time, the answer was no, and that I might try a local gas station in the morning. The whole point of booking a hotel that offers breakfast is to avoid spending $15 or so on breakfast. Other than that the place was great.

Travelocity said this location was 16 miles from Jim Thorpe. That’s false advertising. It’s well over 25 miles and over 40 minutes drive. I would not have chose this location as we are visiting Jim Thorpe and wanted to be within around 20 minutes drive.

Breakfast was ready early, which was wonderful as I was heading out before the posted breakfast time. It was unexpected and a happy discovery. I basically just slept there. Sheets super comfy as well as the bed. Pillows were just right, not the overstuffed ones I usually find in hotels. Small fridge and coffee maker in the room were an added bonus. Staff was super nice. Hotel was very clean. Definitely will stay here again when I come back up I-81 and/or when visiting the casino in the area
