Standard room, lots of carpeting which isn’t my personal choice. The pool was out of order, we traveled with kids so that was one of the selling points. The gym smelled of mildew intensely. The interior was beautifully decorated.

We’ve stayed here numerous times and never disappointed. This place is well priced for the comfort and amenities you get. A quiet location with ample food choices close by. Restaurant onsite and diner next door. Indoor pool, whirlpool, and gym onsite that are worth it.

Huge indoor pool, many amenities, walking distance from movie theater. Fantastic breakfast, pet friendly, super clean rooms. 3 miles from Gettysburg outlets. Would definitely stay here again.

Fruity water was available to drink, very clean and spacious rooms, food was great at the bar. Hard working staff always available for small talk. Only one small problem was the elevators. Three of them but only one runs per day.

The hotel was moderately clean and up to date. The shower in the room and pool were both pretty gross. There was mildew on the pool deck, along with chunks of hair. It's unfortunate because there is a potential for the pool area to be really nice. The shower was very outdated, with cracked tiles. There are also no ledges in the shower. It definitely had a grimy feel to it.

This hotel in Gettysburg was a nightmare soon as we walked in our room to check in we noticed the bed was so lumpy the sheets have not been changed they were flies in our shower no bags for the garbage it was horrible I will never return to that hotel ever again

Nice hotel, if you look too close it looks a little run down, the room need a more detailed cleaning, lots of dust and cob webs but sheets and pillows clean. Bathroom could also needed a more detailed cleaning. Overall nice place

The breakfast was good and the room was comfortable. The 2 biggest complaints were the TV in the room was tiny and the shower is weird with only half closed off and the rest open for water to splash out.

The wifi was very bad, we were told they were working on it. We had a king sized bed with tiny little pillows and worn out mattress. HBO was blocked on the cable, TV was a small flat screen on a desk. The refrigerator adjustment knob was broken and stuck on max, froze everything overnight.

We were a late check-in. Nobody was at the counter when we arrived and had to wait 30 minutes for someone. Once someone came to get us a room, there was confusion as to what room we were getting, the one we had reserved was given to someone else earlier in the day. I understand that this is a tourist town but having uniformed security guards posted at each floor was a little weird. I asked and the guard said they were required to be there because of the groups of school children staying there. The overall accommodations were ok, the atmosphere was a little too "Disney" for me, everyone was pleasant to deal with but overall it just asn't what I was expecting from a Wyndham property.

Was double charged for my room. I prebooked my stay at Wyndham Gettysburg and payed thru Expedia. Upon checking in my personal card was only supposed to be held on file with the hotel for incidentals. The check in clerk replace my prepaid Expedia reservation with my credit card and charged the entire stay again! I payed Expedia and Wyndham both for the same reservation. I spoke to the manager on site and he reassured me the accidental Wyndham charge would not go past pending on my credit card statement. It's hard enough budgeting for a vacation these days with the economy and when you finally plan one out on a budget you get hit with a duplicate charge out the gate when attempting to relax. I pray it all works out. I came to see Picketts charge not to get double charged.

No heat in the room on a 35 degree night. Maintenance visited twice and could not correct. No one available at front desk at approximately 8:45pm to talk to about alternative room location. Slept uncomfortably in a 64 degree room and was told to contact our booking platform for refund.

Wonderful gentleman at the front desk in the evenings. This man was fantastic. He was kind, patient, and sincere. I would come back just because of his friendliness. He went out of his way for us. Only suggestion is to have all 3 elevators working. Only 2 were working so the wait time was significant. Thank you for a wonderful stay and I hope someone passes along that the gentlemen, at the front desk was superb

Was very impressed with all aspects of the Hotel from check-in to check-out. The breakfast at 1863 Restaurant was especially tasty, portions were ample, waiter was friendly and checked to make sure we were satisfied with food and service. We had a problem with key card getting into pool area and maintenance or cleaning help in fitness area stopped and graciously helped us access pool area. The inside Paintings, Carpet, and Cannon gave the Hotel a Civil War atmosphere. It made the stay a memorable experience. The only negative was the rain so looking forward to a return trip on a sunny day.

I enjoyed my stay. Staff was helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay here again. However dining at the hotel was not a pleasant experience. Waitstaff was MIA. The staff didn’t check in on my table. Food came out cold. It was not busy. There were only 3 tables of guests.

The hotel was set beautifully with easy access to the highway. Although close to the highway, it was very quiet. There is a movie theater within walking distance and a dining option as well. The hotel dining area was exceptional. The hot tub and pool were just the thing after a full day at Gettysburg!! The only issue was they are dog friendly only not pet friendly, we travel with our bird.

Property was in a good location, front desk was great. Restaurant option was terrible, and the workers make you feel hated. Very unfriendly and not into doing any work. Room was poor shower horrible, tv super small, and not a smart tv. Elevators were super slow waited 10 min, took stairs most of the time, we were on 5th floor

The hotel was ok. The mattress was not comfy. This property has a known fire alarm issue. The alarm went off three times the night we stayed. Worse, there was no sign of police or fire squad - I get that it probably always throws a false alarm but the lack of urgency was disappointing. The hotel was ok. The mattress was not comfy. This property has a known fire alarm issue. The alarm went off three times the night we stayed. Worse, there was no sign of police or fire squad - I get that it probably always throws a false alarm but the lack of urgency was disappointing. Also there was only one poor kid responsible for serving the entire dining room. Breakfast was good once we got it.

I enjoyed my stay. Staff was helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay here again. However dining at the hotel was not a pleasant experience. Waitstaff was MIA. The staff didn’t check in on my table. Food came out cold. It was not busy. There were only 3 tables of guests.

Amazing stay! We came to see Gettysburg, the hotel was a perfect introduction to the whole experience! Decor is excellent, food is awesome, and it is tucked away in a quiet safe area so we could park with our bike trailer. Had a wonderful stay! Very clean and service was always helpful and kind!

We loved this hotel! Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious, and the location was close to everything while far enough off the beaten path to be peaceful.

Our stay was very good. Rooms are serviced daily. The entire complex - it’s a conference center - is very well done and befitting the Gettysburg area. The dining area is bright and nicely decorated with watercolors of the area. Staff are friendly and competent. The food in the 1863 restaurant is extremely good. Breakfasts are above par. Dinners are also good as is the fare served in the bar. We have stayed here previously, but we are finally caught up with the post Covid traveling, and Wyndham has done an excellent job of returning to above normal.

Full restaurant breakfast was excellent. Very good quality and variety. Hotel was super nice. Super clean. Super safe. Rooms were verry nice. Dining was very good. Easy parking. Theater very close. I'll stay here during visit to Gettysburg. Expedia members get very good rates and super cheap breakfast addition. For $13 get breakfast for two people and the value is easily over $40. Teapot, juice included.

Room was clean. Definitely needs to be updated. Not quite as nice as the pictures presented on the booking site. At one time I’m sure the hotel was spectacular. Wallpaper ripped in the hallways and lots of scuffs and marks from laundry carts scraping the walls. Bed was very hard but fine for the one night stay. Did not eat there. The bar was closed (9:30p) so unfortunately we were unable to get the nightcap we were looking forward to after a tour we had done.

We got a king suite and it was great. Large space with furnishings that made you really feel a part of the whole wonderful Gettysburg experience. Would definitely stay again.

I have no negative things to report. The hotel was clean and the staff were great. I love that. It was situated in an area with the cinema and a diner so we didn’t have to leave the property until checkout.

The girl was well kept and the staff was very friendly. I was very disappointed that the TV was so small and not a smart TV. The shower curtain was ripped and missing several hooks. There was a coffee maker and fridge but no microwave. The bed was very firm (uncomfortably). The hotel would be a great one if you would update some features.
